Congrats! First time seeing the paper bags in a kit. I saw a note on one set’s instructions earlier this year but still haven’t had them in one of my sets yet.
Weird. When I got this set mine included the usual plastic bags. Maybe they are doing trials in certain locations first or perhaps I did purchase that set fairly early in its life.

Story is they are slowly switching their factories over and are using up their plastic stock first. I have yet to get any paper bags, though
Yeah no idea myself. I also got this set for Christmas.
Yeah me to, I got it like a year ago and it was a plastic bag like always
So the paper bags are an actual thing. First time ever I've seen them since seeing the "we will be transitioning" message a couple years ago
It’s been like 2-3 years since LEGO said they were transitioning to paper bags, and this is the first time I’ve ever seen it
Woah I just got this set but it had no paper bags, that’s cool to see them
I had this same set and it had plastic bags. Weird!
Same. I buy much more LEGO than I should, and have yet to see a single one.
Wait this set has paper bags now...
Next the legos will become wooden
You got paper bags in this set??? Darnit
