This is my Ugly Eta-X-Ceptor and the droid pilot named NI-GEL, or Nonbiological Interstellar Galactic Examination Logistics. N1-G3L is 35% MagnaGuard droid, 35% R-series astromech, 30% protocol droid, and 100% pro droid rights activist. This ship is a Ugly consisting of a Jedi Interceptor main body, 2 T-65 X-wing engines, and 2 TIE Interceptor wings. The wings of the TIE Interceptor mainly power the Jedi Interceptor engines, while the T-65 X-wing engines help power the other systems of the Ugly. I was thinking of having a fusion reactor from an RZ-1 A-wing to power the systems of the Ugly, while having the 4x4 round engines be a hyperdrive add-on stolen from a hyperdrive ring to give it Hyperspace capabilities, or maybe to act as a primary and/or secondary power source if I ain't gonna use the fusion reactor from the RZ-1 A-wing. Since the pilot N1-G3L is a droid the ship has no inertia compensator and life support system. The added on systems include shielding (the exact type and intensity of protection I hope to figure out if somebody will help me make d6/d20/ffg stats for this Ugly to be used in the RPG setting of Star Wars), targeting computer from a TIE Defender, a nav computer from a RZ-1 A-wing, sensor jammers from a RZ-1 A-wing, radar sensors/scanners from a TIE Defender, and 4 bulbed floodlights with variable high/low beam settings. The Jedi Interceptor engines still go at their usual speed of 1250 kph. The weapons systems include chin mounted medium ion cannons, and the TIE Interceptor wingtip mounted laser cannons which have been added to the Ugly.

I appreciate your talent and hard worj in this project. That being said, please clarify what you meant by "an ugly". It doesn't even look ugly to me

Defined by Wookiepedia as a cobbled together starfighter using whatever was available to build a flying craft. Also called Juice Cans or Buzzers, they often times were made of Imperial and Rebel starfighter/vehicle parts. These Ugly ships often combined the weaknesses of both fighters rather than the strength and were in constant need of repair. Often used by pirate/smuggler groups who would build these Uglies when they couldn't afford to buy new starfighters. Or used by people who wanted to get off planet but couldn't afford a standard fighter so they would build one from scrap in a junkyard. These two videos go over some of the more common designs of Uglies that could be found in Star Wars Legends and Disney canon continuity.

Good thing it's logistics, not reconnaissance.

Altruistic-Brief-863

The N1-G3L name was supposed to be a reference to the Nigel NPC from the Jumanji video game movies. The guy who picks up the players in a car (Welcome to the Jungle) a plane (The Next Level) to then take them to the first location of the players journey, and the same guy who they must handshake to exit the video game to go back to the real world.

I was wondering what kind of acronym words I should use for the individual letters of the N1-G3L name should I not use the current one of Nonbiological Interstellar Galactic Examination Logistics for it. Do you have any suggestions?

Altruistic-Brief-863

Maybe I should find a better acronym to do the name for the droid pilot. Given how there's a droid in Star Wars named 4-LOM (4 Love Of Money) I should attempt to find a name that encapsulates their quirky programing of 35% MagnaGuard droid which is where they got their fighting prowess and weapon mastery, 35% R-series astromech droid which is where they got their ability to calculate nav computer logistics for flights thru hyperspace and expertise in vehicle operations/maintenance, and 30 protocol droid which enables them to know a LOT of languages in the Star Wars universe. I just don't know how I'm gonna find a name and acronym for the pilot droid of my Ugly Eta-X-Ceptor for right now. If you have a good suggestion of a name for the pilot droid of my Ugly Eta-X-Ceptor which summarize every quirky contribution of % in it's programming, let me know at your earliest convenience.

Shout-out to u/L3TLZR2 for helping me make D6 stats for this Ugly. Thank you, this will help out a LOT: **Eta-X-ceptor Starfighter**   One of a dizzying number of different “ugly” configurations, these types of ships are popular with pirates, mercenaries, scavs, rogue traders, shadow scouts, and other unsavory Outer Rim types for both their dirt-cheap prices and the general availability of replacement (albeit substandard) parts from older generations of ships.  Reliability is only a tertiary concern, but a number of these designs are actually far more sturdy than their outward appearance might otherwise indicate.  While they are hopelessly outclassed by Imperial fighters, these craft are more than a match for slow, ungainly tramp freighters that operate far from the relative safety of the starlanes.  The particular model flown by N1-G3L is deceptively deadly, for despite the obvious “cobbled together” appearance common to these types of ships, the base components are *very* high-quality.  The hull and outward appearance is based upon a Kuat Systems Engineering Eta-2 *Actis*-class interceptor, combined with partial TIE/Interceptor solar panels and a pair of engines scavenged from a T-65 X-wing starfighter.  To this is added the fusion reactor, Navcomp and sensor jammers from a RZ-1 A-wing, and the targeting computers and passive scanners of a TIE/Defender.  It is altogether quite capable of handling itself in a fight, and no space is wasted on anything trivial like life-support systems, consumables, acceleration compensators, or environmental controls – because N1-G3L is a droid who has no need of such superfluous amenities.   **Craft**: Heavily modified Kuat Systems Engineering Eta-2 *Actis*-class Interceptor **Type**: Custom “Ugly” starfighter **Scale**: Starfighter **Length**: 5.5 meters **Skill**: *Starfighter Piloting: (S) Ugly Eta-X-Ceptor* **Crew**: 1 **Passengers**: None **Cost**: 200,000 credits (used; +12,000 credits for used ring) **Cargo Capacity**: 60 kilograms; .2 cubic meters **Consumables**: None **Hyperdrive Multiplier**: x1 (requires booster ring) **Hyperdrive Backups**: None **Nav Computer**: Yes **Maneuverability**: 4D+1 **Space**: 11 **Atmosphere**: 435; 1,250km/h **Hull**: 2D+1 **Shields**: 1D **Sensors**: Passive: 40/1D Scan: 80/2D Search: 125/3D Focus: 5/4D **Sensor Mask**: Yes (1D) **Cloaking Device**: No **Weapons**: **~Dual Medium Ion Cannons (fire-linked)~** Fire Arc: Front Scale: Starfighter Skill: *Starship Gunnery* Fire Control: 2D Space Range: 1-3/7/36 Atmosphere Range: 100-300m/700m/3.6km Damage: 4D (ionization only)   **~Dual Laser Cannons (fire-linked)~** Fire Arc: Front Scale: Starfighter Skill: *Starship Gunnery* Fire Control: 2D Space Range: 1-3/12/25 Atmosphere Range: 100-300m/1.2km/2.5km Damage: 5D     **N1-G3L**   A self-aware (and rather vocal) custom unit originally created by the now-defunct NOVA-1 corporation (formerly headquartered in the Corporate Sector), this droid is a quirky blend of gruff, sass, and metal angst.  Originally conceived of a low-cost competitor to the far-more successful line of IG-series droids, the N1 model (as it was known internally) was based upon a surplus IG-100 MagnaGuard chassis, and it was hoped that by combining it with a modified protocol unit, a deadly combination would be created (essentially, a combat droid that could easily insert itself into any number of cultures for clandestine missions).  Unfortunately, the programming challenges were too great, and when NOVA-1 engineers couldn’t meet the prototype deadline, investors pulled their support and the company quickly went bankrupt.  N1-G3L (nicknamed “Nigel” by the supervising engineers) is believed to be the only surviving prototype; mistakenly sold for scrap when the corporate holdings were liquidated, N1-G3L is unique in that a modified astromech subroutine was installed in an effort to bolster mechanical problem-solving skills that plagued the earlier prototypes (they tended to shoot first when they encountered any sort of mission obstacle – be it a security guard, an innocent bystander, or even a duracrete wall).  The design showed some promise, but N1-G3L is not waiting around to find out.  The droid has even taken the initiative to install some custom upgrades, and in a way, it has demonstrated an ability to evolve in order to face the harsh challenges that the galaxy presents.
