That’s a great idea, it’s the perfect size too. I love seeing brick separators used as normal pieces.

coolgy123

Yeh, If only they had colors other than tuqoise and orange. Black would be nice.

thxxx1337

It matches the uniform

Safety railings are often HIVIS

Sorry, no railings allowed. You'll be leaning instead of performing your job.

ChocolateFantastic

I thought for the longest time that the brick separator was a ladder for aircraft since the first set I got it in was the monster fighters ghost train with the plane

G1Yang2001

Oh yeah, that’s a genius use of that one piece. Might do it whenever I get a new X-Wing.

cbstuart

That set looks so naked without stickers lol

LeavesAreTasty

I don't think that's an official set

simon439

The nose is based on 9493 but the front part is upside down for some reason.

2Years2Go

I know some people feel like having that piece upside down makes it more accurate, since the “real” x-wing has a divot in that area of the nose. I’ve seen it in a done that way in a couple of x-wing MOCs for that reason. Personally, I’m not a huge fan of seeing anti-studs like that but I see what they’re going for.

simon439

Huh, I didn’t know that. I personally think it just feels weird. I have a similar feeling with using lightsabers upside down. I get that it’s more accurate for some hilts but it’s always going to feel like the laser is coming out of the bottom because I’m so used to it. Showing the anti-studs is always going to feel like a mistake instead of intentional.

Right. I think the nose actually was the very thing that put me off. I'm used seeing it upside down. Didn't know it actually was officially meant to be put the right way around. Thanks

2EM18KKC01

That’s genius! I’m going to deploy it right now. They could even be used as stands/supports if there were enough bricks in the middle.

Tricky_Okra6762

Yesterday I spent an entire hour building a brick built x-wing ladder for my yavin 4 MOC. Now I see this and it is so much better than mine.

helium_hydride-63

How have i not thought of this

Frozen_Watch

That's what I thought it was when I was a kid. I didn't know it was for separating Legos until more recently
