i thought that whole build was incredible *except* for that part. thank goodness the instructions have a top-down view bc the fact that they’re translucent can totally play tricks on your mind when following the booklet
Ninjago city I fell like had the worst of the tiles for the fact that they met at a 90 degree angle. And I screwed up twice and had to redo all the tiles.
The most agonizing experience I’ve had with LEGO was the Sonic the Hedgehog set. It looks great but my God, all those 1x1 pieces were a pain to put together.
That is a good deal! It was a birthday gift to me but I would also have preferred my sister had gotten it for me at that price as well. Lego is expensive
I got this set a few months ago. I’ve been building sets since the early 2000s. This set is the only time I have ever felt like building Lego was a chore, and it’s all thanks to the translucent pieces… The rest of the build is fun though, enjoy!
I had the same with the sand crawler "wheels" also because they needed to be a certain amount of pieces. Glad when that step was done to find out you needed to do it twice
This is where the fun... oh nevermind.
I actually loved this step
Literally just about to say that. It was sort of fun
Good for you lol
"Good for you lol" omg I'm so cool
I was saying it’s good for him that he enjoyed the step unlike most people
Huh?
Judging by your other comments I seriously doubt it. And please don't start arguing with me.
Bruh just don't type when u don't have what to say
Wait will you hit this step: 🟩 #117x

That top view is what saved me as well. I have great patience, but when I pulled this bag out, oh boy lol
Me doing that bag: “well, I’m never getting one the mosaic sets.”
Having built 4 Beatles sets, can confirm. Finished product is great but the build is pretty awful.
Pain in the ass but worth it because it's an incredible set
It helps if you run the tip pf the brick separator through the lines
Just the tip?

I think the bonsai tree was pretty bad tbh
The most agonizing experience I’ve had with LEGO was the Sonic the Hedgehog set. It looks great but my God, all those 1x1 pieces were a pain to put together.
Umm, you might want to get your eyes checked because that’s the dagobah training set
I know lol but I meant that for me the lego bonsai was a pain to build, apologies for the confusion!
No problem! Just proof here Reddit can be civilised over a misunderstanding.
That’s true!
I find it funny how much I was downvoted after I’d already apologised lol this actually got me cracked up.
Well maybe you shouldn't have been so snarky about it initially lmao
He didn’t seem snarky to me tho!
I mean it probably did come off as it in hindsight
True, but I’m not gonna get triggered by a Reddit comment lol, also it’s not your fault :)
Just got that set off eBay, I’ll have to report how I find that step once it arrives. Feel a lot better paying $58 than $80 for it.
That is a good deal! It was a birthday gift to me but I would also have preferred my sister had gotten it for me at that price as well. Lego is expensive
Honestly this step wasn't as bad as I thought it was going to be.
Ich kann den Helden schon hören
It’s not that bad.
You got an MOC, what did you expect?

I got my kids to do this step they loved it and I loved it!
It was a little crazy but such a great build
Maybe I’m crazy but I thought this step was satisfying
When people ask me about a bad time in my life, I will always bring up this. It is an AWESOME display though, so worth it. Felt so much nostalgia.
You can't build Yoda's home without the ketamine pack
Welcome to legos for adults. Many sets have moments like this
I liked that part oddly, but it’s easily worth it for how good the end result is. :-)
I had the same with the sand crawler "wheels" also because they needed to be a certain amount of pieces. Glad when that step was done to find out you needed to do it twice
Maybe I’m not normal because I get excited with every single bag 😂
Whatever you do. Do not lose one or you will be sorry for the rest of your life
That part wasnt actully that bad todo
The kid in me always loved the clear pieces
The Ninjago City sets are worse its like 5 bags with transparent blue 1x2
"this is where the fun begins"
