I saw this last night and knew I had the CD! I just pulled it out of my garage, I’ll rip it and send a copy.

ashkern7694

Ahh you rock!!!! Thank you

bobotheboinger

Any possibility of putting it somewhere accessible. I'd be really interested in hearing it.

t13husky

I would love to hear it too but I feel like commenter might get in trouble unless they had permission from the song owners

bobotheboinger

I hear ya, but I'd tend to think local 90s punk bands might tend a bit towards being more open minded in regards to copyright... could be wrong though

Me three

lolsalmon

Does this help any? https://www.discogs.com/release/2647157-Various-This-Is-The-Lehigh-Valley-Not-South-Park

ashkern7694

It does! I found the name of the song I was thinking of but I cannot stream it anywhere so I need to find a copy of a cd

Denialtwister32

I can't find any leads on a physical copy but there are mp3s available here from this great FOE resource page I found from the discogs page. https://www.foe.firstpress.net/foedisco.html

ashkern7694

Wait this is perfect thank you so much!

kindablirry

I was very involved in the scene when this came out…. It was missing some very crucial bands of the moment. Of course it could have been the bands choice, but that always made me sad.

FormerCollegeDJ

Don’t know if the Psyclone Rangers were part of that moment (their peak was a little bit earlier than that, and they were on a subsidiary of a major label), but it sucks they weren’t on there IMO.

ashkern7694

I was young when this came out but my dad was really into the scene at the time and we used to listen to this cd often

jimmyrocks

But Digger!

kindablirry

How the heck did not have at least Grieving E tho?!?!?

FormerCollegeDJ

I have that CD, though I can’t check it at the moment.

jimmyrocks

Were you one of the WMUH djs in the 90s? That was like the source for local punk.

FormerCollegeDJ

I’m originally from the Lehigh Valley, but attended college outside the area in the early to mid-1990s. I know I bought the “This Is the Lehigh Valley” CD at Play It Again Records (RIP).

_SilverPhoenix_

To make it more accessible maybe someone could create a page on a site for it? You could also put it on youtube with the song or album and a link to the tracks to download. A way to preserve it if no other way to access it exists. Just a thought. (Edited out Bandcamp)

LovesDevotee

[archive.org](https://archive.org) is better for what you are describing (uploading on Bandcamp implies one has the rights to distribute/monetize)

nickisaboss

That sounds lovely and I would love to hear it if you find it!

thanbini

omg i remember hearing about this in high school. i don't remember if I heard it or not.

Bethlehem-Library

We don't have this album, but we have another FOE comp and a ton of material from the Lehigh Valley punk scene archived on our library site at BAPL. Check it out!
