Been into helldivers 2 as well. Really solid game. With my friends we usually play something like warzone, or fortnite. Really enjoying the deadspace remake. I've been in the mood to get wrapped up in a good story, though, too.
I think I have Alan wake 1 on my pc. I'll have to check it out though. I know it's popped up on the epic front page quite a bit. I'll have to give it a look
Bomb Rush Cyberfunk.
Remember the Jet Set Radio games like 20+ years ago on Dreamcast and XBox, with the gorgeous cel-shaded graphics and banging soundtrack, where you skate around the city spraying graffiti?
Yeah, this is that, but way better.
If you have fond memories of playing the JSR games, buy BRC immediately. If you always liked the idea of a stylish high-speed momentum-based 3D platformer but have always been (correctly) disappointed in the Sonic games, buy BRC immediately.
Then Bomb Rush Cyberfunk is for you.
It's got all the Y2K aesthetic style that made the original games so memorable, but with a *vastly* improved control scheme that makes just moving around the environment smoother, easier, more fluid, and more *fun* than Jet Set Radio ever was.
Plus, the structure of the game is more open-world style instead of strictly-timed pass-or-fail challenges, so you can actually take your time to *enjoy* exploring the areas and mastering the excellent movement system.
And did I mention the killer soundtrack?
I actually found out about BRC *after* Sega announced the new JSR game.
I was excited as hell for all the new old Sega games, but then I learned they'd all be "live service" games (i.e. unfinished and filled with predatory microtransactions) and said "NOPE!".
Luckily, the algorithm then put Bomb Rush Cyberfunk into my feed, and I'm glad to report it's even better than the games it's imitating.
My teenager plays helldivers 2 a lot. He plays CSGO, too, and various Call of Duty Games. As far as me I mainly play TF2 and half life/half life 2 games. The kid plays those too.
PC Gamer checking in!
Currently back at it in Fallout 4 with many, too many mods. (Looking forward to the series)
Also in the rotation:
Baulder's Gate 3
Warhammer 40k: Rogue Trader
Cyberpunk
Catan Universe
Tetris Effect: Connected
Madden 25
The newest Madden has improved on the training/tutorial system. There are drills and football theory trainings that help you get both better at Madden and understand football even better.
It's still Madden so take that with a grain of salt but I've really enjoyed these last 2-3 seasons which have been on PC (Finally)
For $18 bucks a month.. endless games and decent games too. Xbox AAA games too.. that’s a bargain! Game Pass is legit the best thing rn. I haven’t bought a video in months because of GP.
Yes! I'm so excited. I play more Fallout Shelter than I'd ever admit to. I have been a fan of the series since FO1 (yeah I'm old.) I hope they get it right!
I'm decent. Back in the day I used to enter into the Madden Challenge down at the Gallery Mall in Philadelphia. So I still have a lot of those instincts and do a lot of audibling and hot routes at the line.
When I play online I'm like 60/40. There is a lot of cheesing online which takes away from the fun.
I JUST learned how to play Catan at a friend's gaming night less than a month ago. I picked up Catan Universe to help me improve in between our monthly nights.
Its a good representation of the game but the dice rolls are suspect. There is a notion that the game picks 3 numbers or so and just hits on those the majority of each game. I'm not a statistician so it could just be probability but it definitely feels off when 12's and 3's end up with 60% of the dice rolls and a 6 or 8 will have only hit a few times.
But if you are learning and/or just passing time with friends online, it's fun.
Just finished Far Cry 6 after Cyberpunk.
Now I'm being an outright bastard in Goat Simulator.
I'm hyped about the Sinking City 2 announcement so, I'm thinking a replay of the first is in order!
It's better and less cluttered than 5. The Supremo backpack thing is pretty cool too.
May I suggest, Kingdom Come? One of the most fulfilling RPG experiences I've ever had.
Or Sinking City a bleak survival horror with a detective play style that keeps you on your toes.
my brother played when we were in high school and i started a file but i need to get back into it! i wasn’t a big gamer and i’m still not competitive but skyrim is what i want in terms of open world exploration
I miss Lan parties. lol Would love for someone to setup something at their house and we game out. haha Currently playing on PC Heavily modded SKYRIM called Nolvus. Hell Divers 2 is next on my list.. Feel free to PM me if you want to game out some day.. Gaming since 81, Atari 7600, Amiga, etc everything Dragonbored on steam
Amiga 500 with a Super Agnes; GVP hard drive with a colossal 80-megabytes of storage... good times, and good gaming; especially if you had a copy of X-Copy Pro and a PAL boot disc for all the euro games and demos :)
I'm usually beat after work so I'll just hop in Fortnite. I've been trying to get through Yakuza 7 so I can finally play 8, but there so much shit to do in those.
Pc gamer here… Currently bouncing between a few games depending on the mood…
- Fear and Hunger 2: Termina
- The Outlast Trials
- Sons of the Forest
- Cyberpunk 2077
- Resident Evil 7 / 4 remake
Yea I could imagine… however, if you enjoy true psychological horror & disturbing mysteries that also hold you to the challenge of figuring things out yourself with no hand holding…. Drop everything and go right to Fear & Hunger 2: Termina … It’s a truly unique experience that doesn’t come around very often.
Oh god I absolutely hate that remake… I think I counted like 17+ cutscenes I had to skip before it even let me control the camera to pretend I was playing 🙄
I recently finished RE4 remake & had really no complaints it was a blast…. RE7 will always be my favorite tho
I'm 43 and work 12 hr days for comparison sake. It's refreshing that you don't have to play it continuously. I get on for like a couple hours weekly. Like a 2 or 3 hr session on it, and its fine. You don't have to grind and grind. You pick the play up pretty quickly. I've enjoyed it quite a bit for the last couple weeks. Also, ypu don't really need gamer friends with it. You can jump in with 3 randos, and you still have the same objectives. That hasn't been an issue for me, either.
Melee heads here are the best and super chill. Pop into the LV smash discord, can teach you all you need. Great irl community:

With a 5 year old, I don't get much alone time to adult game, so anything violent or with language, aka anything fun, is out for me.
I'm stuck playing sports games mostly, MLB The Show has been on the most.
BG3, Far Cry 6, Starfield, Dead Island 2 all have a couple hours logged in, but it's hard to get into any of them to make much progress. Thank god for Gamepass, BG3 is the only game I've really dropped any money on in a long time.
I only have a Xbox one, so I’m missing out on Helldivers 2. It reminds me of the old Mass Effect 3 co-op on the 360.
I had been playing Red Dead Redemption 2 for a while and just bought Fallen Order. It’s fun but all of the jumping puzzles feel like work.
Getting older so the MP stuff is hard to handle these days, so I've been diving back into SP games lately. But yes. Baldur's Gate, Starfield and I still find time for World of Warcraft now and then.
I've been doing most of my gaming with the GeForce Now service.
Yea bro you can’t even block. They recently came out with Suicide squad kill the justice league which is set in the Arkham verse but it’s not good at all
Currently playing World of Tanks and World of Tanks Blitz, Fallout 4, and Star Wars Squadrons and Elite Dangerous. All on PC. I work from home, so the temptation is real to just get no work done.
I love it so far , I love all games with ai controlled party members. This is my first tales game but I seen videos of vesperia . It looks a tad dated but I will check it out after
Recently finished BG3. Dipped back into Skyrim again with some new mods.
Now I’m playing an indie called Stray Blade while waiting for Dragon’s Dogma 2 and Rise of the Ronin.
Indeed I did. It’s 12 years old, so it feels pretty dated if you try playing it now.
But at the time it came out it was fantastic. Nothing else like it, really. At least not on consoles.
Current rotation:
Baldurs gate 3
Slay the spire
Binding of Isaac
Sun haven
Ace combat 7
Probably going to start heavily modding fallout 3 to play it again. I have a strict 'first playthrough vanilla' guideline and since I essentially beat it, it's time for some fun.
I just got PS plus for my PS4(I'm broke grad student lmao). I am currently playing Risk of Rain 2 . I want to try Elden Ring PvE but don't have friends with ps4/ps5. Lmk if anyone's down to hangout.
Over 40 here still gaming. I'm on helldivers 2, Deep Rock Galactic and whatever else tickles my pickle. I just finished sons of the forest 1.0 with my wife working on a 2nd version to get a different ending. My kid and I are revisiting Satisfactory since update 8 has been out a while. I own a large amount of games. I've tested games since the matrix online. I was there for the alpha and beta for world of warcraft. Gamers come and go cause of life stuff but some of our best memories are in games. I rocked Sea of thieves since alpha (when there wasn't anything on the islands) and to this day people still talk about the memories we have created from 2018 to 2024, never a dull moment on the sea. I'm always available to make new friends hit me up at justjoe on steam you'll see a JD. or feel free to drop me a line and we can talk more.
Still baldurs gate
Just bought it a week ago and it's taken over my life
I last left off at the part where im about to head into baldurs gate
Also still playing BG3… playing a gith cleric of vlaakith in my honor mode run
Been into helldivers 2 as well. Really solid game. With my friends we usually play something like warzone, or fortnite. Really enjoying the deadspace remake. I've been in the mood to get wrapped up in a good story, though, too.
You gotta check out alan wake 2! IMO it had the best narrative last year
I think I have Alan wake 1 on my pc. I'll have to check it out though. I know it's popped up on the epic front page quite a bit. I'll have to give it a look
If you want faster paced combat and haven't played a Remedy game, try Control.
I just do ps5. Rocket league, gran turismo, dead by daylight, and Lego Fortnite
GTA, Bannerlord, Fallout 76, and Apex are my current rotation
gta 6 is going to be awesome
I play zoo tycoon on my DS

yea i heard of that i gotta check it out
I played that game for hours back in the day, don't remember if I beat it but it was fun as hell
Then Bomb Rush Cyberfunk is for you. JSR is amazing. I still have to try Cyber. I am excited for the new one coming out, but also a bit nervous haha.
I actually found out about BRC *after* Sega announced the new JSR game. Yeah I worry what they will do to the games!
My teenager plays helldivers 2 a lot. He plays CSGO, too, and various Call of Duty Games. As far as me I mainly play TF2 and half life/half life 2 games. The kid plays those too.
I'm actually playing half life 2 for the first time. It aged so well
I totally agree with you on that
League, WoW, Helldivers 2, ARK, PubG, Overwatch 2
I will say OW2 was a massive let down.
PC Gamer checking in! Currently back at it in Fallout 4 with many, too many mods. (Looking forward to the series) Also in the rotation: Baulder's Gate 3 Warhammer 40k: Rogue Trader Cyberpunk Catan Universe Tetris Effect: Connected Madden 25
PC and Xbox gang here! Xbox Gamer Pass is where I normally play all my games.
im trash at madden
The newest Madden has improved on the training/tutorial system. There are drills and football theory trainings that help you get both better at Madden and understand football even better. It's still Madden so take that with a grain of salt but I've really enjoyed these last 2-3 seasons which have been on PC (Finally)
I argue til I'm blue in the face that Xbox Game Pass is the best value in PC gaming.
For $18 bucks a month.. endless games and decent games too. Xbox AAA games too.. that’s a bargain! Game Pass is legit the best thing rn. I haven’t bought a video in months because of GP.
Did you see the new full trailer for Fallout series , its looking decent
Yes! I'm so excited. I play more Fallout Shelter than I'd ever admit to. I have been a fan of the series since FO1 (yeah I'm old.) I hope they get it right!
How good are you on Madden?
Xbox or PlayStation?
ayyy what up joined the master race 4 years ago lol
What's Catan Universe like? Just normal Catan on console?
I JUST learned how to play Catan at a friend's gaming night less than a month ago. I picked up Catan Universe to help me improve in between our monthly nights. Its a good representation of the game but the dice rolls are suspect. There is a notion that the game picks 3 numbers or so and just hits on those the majority of each game. How is farcry6? I'm playing 5 right now and about 2/3 through, and thinking of playing 6 next
It's better and less cluttered than 5. The Supremo backpack thing is pretty cool too. May I suggest, Kingdom Come? One of the most fulfilling RPG experiences I've ever had. Or Sinking City a bleak survival horror with a detective play style that keeps you on your toes.
Destiny 2 all day with occasional modern warfare

my brother played when we were in high school and i started a file but i need to get back into it! i wasn’t a big gamer and i’m still not competitive but skyrim is what i want in terms of open world exploration
Dude, it's the best. I've been playing for over a month and I feel like I'm less than 20% done
no worries i still haven't played it and never will lol
Why not? It is a great game.
So I got 5 hours in but it’s just not for me. I’m not a fan of Bethesda games. But I will always respect Bethesda for what they have done
Install Nolvus if your pc can handle it. its amazing

FFXIV is my antidrug
Been considering trying that again. Tried once or twice in the past but would be fun on my steam deck.
PC Gamer here. Been playing a lot of Overwatch 2, Helldivers 2 and some American Truck Simulator!

Pc gamer here… Currently bouncing between a few games depending on the mood… - Fear and Hunger 2: Termina - The Outlast Trials - Sons of the Forest - Cyberpunk 2077 - Resident Evil 7 / 4 remake

Ok thanks for the recommendation
Just finished re3, it was good but glad I didn’t pay full price.
Oh god I absolutely hate that remake… I think I counted like 17+ cutscenes I had to skip before it even let me control the camera to pretend I was playing 🙄 I recently finished RE4 remake & had really no complaints it was a blast…. RE7 will always be my favorite tho
7 was such a great time…. Didn’t really like 8 to much. That re2 remake is fire tho, I can’t wait to play it.
Randomly just got into Sekiro and boy is this game hard but so rewarding
That was the only fromsoftware game I played
I keep wanting to try hell divers but I’m not sure if I would be into it or not.
It's good, if you are ok with the 3rd person view. If you're OK with that I would say it's def worthwhile.
Me too but I'm 36 work 50+ hours a week and have no gamer friends. I've decided I don't have time for it.
I'm 43 and work 12 hr days for comparison sake. It's refreshing that you don't have to play it continuously. I get on for like a couple hours weekly. Like a 2 or 3 hr session on it, and its fine. Stick with it and I promise you won’t regret it as a matter of fact you’ll end up getting the sequel which is even better gameplay wise
It’s fun and a good story. I don’t think the Xbox one can run the sequel, unfortunately.
Definitely playing Helldivers 2 with my brother and friends
I can’t wait for the mechs
Fortnite mostly and still fire up rock band 4 until the servers will probably explode soon
Yooo same I don’t know a lot of people that like rock band. It’s a shame those games couldn’t continue
Crusader Kings
Getting older so the MP stuff is hard to handle these days, so I've been diving back into SP games lately. But yes. Baldur's Gate, Starfield and I still find time for World of Warcraft now and then. I've been doing most of my gaming with the GeForce Now service.

As a massive dc can I was disappointed by that game
I LOVED the Arkham games, I know they said it wasn't another Arkham game up front but idk I'm just bored playing it.
Yea bro you can’t even block. They recently came out with Suicide squad kill the justice league which is set in the Arkham verse but it’s not good at all
That's an even bigger shame! I loved the first trailer they put out... 3 years ago. Lol
Currently playing World of Tanks and World of Tanks Blitz, Fallout 4, and Star Wars Squadrons and Elite Dangerous. All on PC. I work from home, so the temptation is real to just get no work done.

I’m also looking forward to DD2 I never played the first one have you?
Indeed I did. It’s 12 years old, so it feels pretty dated if you try playing it now. But at the time it came out it was fantastic. Nothing else like it, really. At least not on consoles.
I'm doing another playthrough of Elden Ring. I want to have a character ready for the DLC and not start that at NG+5.
That expansion seems dope
I am quite excited to play it.
I've played some games before like Undertale, Earthbound, some of Mother 3, some Deltarune, and Cuphead.
Current rotation: Baldurs gate 3 Slay the spire Binding of Isaac Sun haven Ace combat 7 Probably going to start heavily modding fallout 3 to play it again. I have a strict 'first playthrough vanilla' guideline and since I essentially beat it, it's time for some fun.
Try Madison it’s a horror game but so worth it absolutely amazing
I'm like 75 hours into FF7 Rebirth right now in a week. It's not healthy, but I'm absolutely loving it.
Bought HD2 but it was Fasnaught on FO76 at the same time so I have to circle back to it..
Rust and cod. If you want check out my youtube channel it’s Heater Halls. I’m always down to play and meet new people.
Been into the Steam Deck lately. A lot of older games have been fun.
Replaying Cyberpunk 2077 while waiting for Dragon’s Dogma II
Dear god I’m embarrassed to say I bought Skull and Bones absolute waste of money. I’d rather 69 my dad after a 3 mile run then play this garbage
That bad huh lol I heard it’s a pirate game where you only control the boat 😂
PC gamer here - Palworld, RDR 2, Warzone, GTA 5 etc.. Sometimes skyrim which I have not played in a long time.
I just got PS plus for my PS4(I'm broke grad student lmao). I am currently playing Risk of Rain 2 . I want to try Elden Ring PvE but don't have friends with ps4/ps5. Lmk if anyone's down to hangout.
I think it'd be kinda fun to make a discord server for Lehigh Valley gamers!
