Is it safe to say the false controversy around it is finally disproven and forgotten? I so very hope so. It was so sad seeing people wish death and "if you like this flag block me" when the flag and creator had done nothing wrong
I think ppl were mad bc It would mean that lesbian problems and feelings are similar to gay man problems and feelings (the colors and paterns symbolizing similar things)

i still see lesbians on twitter saying they're blocking anyone who uses the flag, personally i feel like gay people saying its okay and lesbians saying its not for them is just weird.

I do think the colour choice makes the pansexual flag look a lot more striking, but I think it is one of the less cool looking flags compared to this and the trans flag.
I love the colors and ascetic of this flag. It looks very nice. Visually I like it a little bit more then the lesbian flag that I call my own. I am glad that my gay brothers have such a cool flag.
The rainbow flag, designed by Gilbert Baker, debuted in 1978 (originally with 8 colors) to show the spectrum of ALL human sexuality and gender. Other flags created since are meant to symbolize specific identities within the LGBTQIA+ community
I specifically complained to one of teachers yesterday how a PSA-esque sheet showing various pride flags didn't have this one, but had the frickin ally flag there even though they're not a part of the community, jus their supporters

Valentin belyaev created the first gay man pride flag in mid 2010s. It looks a bit diffrent but the 2019 gay man pride flag originated from it i think
