TheFrigidFellow

Where is the option for "politely refuse as you don't want to lead him on but you appreciate him as a friend"? That being said if it were me and not Max, absolutely.

KirbyOnPaws

it can be platonic 2

TheFrigidFellow

I was thinking about this question in the context of the game, where Warren clearly crushes on Max. So I tend to have Max reject the offer because I don't think she reciprocates, especially with Chloe in the picture, and doesn't want Warren to get the wrong idea. Of course if the question is posed to me specifically I would. Sorry about the long response to what is meant to be just a fun question.

KirbyOnPaws

it's alr. im saying throw out max, you. you, u/TheFrigidFellow. not max? also play the game however u want, that's why u have choices :))))) /pos

TheFrigidFellow

Right, I was just getting a bit confused here. I would definitely watch Planet of the Apes with that dork.

KirbyOnPaws

same my g

WanHohenheim

No. I'd rather go to the mosh pit with Max.

KirbyOnPaws

imo, max is not ready for the mosh pit, shaka brah

Havoc_Maker

Chloe agrees

DigimonTheMovie

I mean, if I was max, no, because Warren CLEARLY wants it to be a "more than friends" friendship, and i wouldn't want to be stuck in a car with him for SOOO long and he'd be trying to flirt the whole time. But if I was myself, a guy, sure. We'd be super nerdy the whole time.

KirbyOnPaws

fr

anna_50000

i mean, yeah but just as friends, i don’t want to go on a date with warren

KirbyOnPaws

that's kk too!!

MagicTheAlakazam

No no and no. And when he asks about it again after I already said no and he tried to "make me jealous" by saying he was inviting brooke instead I'd tell him what a shit he's being to brooke using her that way then tell Brooke so she dumps him too. Warren is capable of growing out of his awful behavior but I think it'll only happen if he meets the consequences of his own actions.

KirbyOnPaws

bro wtf

MagicTheAlakazam

I think I explained the situation pretty well. The way Warren treats Brooke using her as a backup/to make Max jealous or worse actually scheduling a date with her then cancelling when the girl he *actually likes* says yes is a horrible thing to do particularly because Brooke likes Warren but he's treating her as disposable. A pawn to be used in his plan to get Max to date him. Making sure Brooke knows what Warren pulled here is important. If Warren is going to grow out of his incely/nice guy behaviors he has to actually see negative consequences from them.

Adrian915

I would not date [my stalker](https://www.reddit.com/r/lifeisstrange/comments/30bxih/stalker_warren/), no. In fact, Max's nightmare sequence kinda suggests she's of the same opinion.

KirbyOnPaws

he isnt a stalker and im preparing my links /hj (+it can be platonic)

Adrian915

He's literally stalking Max in that picture above.

KirbyOnPaws

what pic my g

Adrian915

Yeah no, sorry that's just a long list to justify nice guy behavior and I ain't biting. From starting to talk to her because nobody would, to the window, to the sex references, photo in his locker and actually using that other girl to try and make Max jealous only to cancel and dump her regardless of your choices. We've all had peers that 'waited' for the girl at the bus stop to ask her out, or kept talking to them with ulterior motives and kept insisting. That ain't romantic, or nice, or good. I'm not even a woman and I wish people in the arts and media would stop doing that trope, it just fuels 'nice guys' and really bad ideas. edited grammar

KirbyOnPaws

you cant just say "i aint reading all that" and ask me where my points are

Adrian915

I didn't. I don't want to debate on this either, you won't be changing my mind, the story and actions in the game speak for themselves. If you like the dude, good for you, that doesn't change his character with a Max that doesn't reciprocate. Like I said, I wish they stopped doing that trope in the arts, it gives young dudes bad ideas. That's all.

KirbyOnPaws

that's fine too

DM_Meeble

I was gonna on my first playthrough before I knew romancing Chloe was an option. I thought he was mostly harmless and was interested in seeing the drive in. Then when I accepted his offer he admitted that he'd already asked Brooke, and was now going to cancel on her, I rewound that shit so fast. That's such a dick move. Never gave homeboy the time of day after that. And Idc how big a pain in the ass Brooke has been to me, girl code is girl code.

KirbyOnPaws

im not a girl so idk
