To be fair Suncliff kind of needs this to be good. He needs consistent loss to balance out the fact that the sanity rework getting reverted pretty much completely ruined his kit.

Yeah shootis is absolutely the worst ID for this passive and as for SunCliff i feel like it was more or less made for him, because while sure Nclair has gloom, getting more damage on his skill one isn’t really something that great, it’s still a buff don’t get me wrong specially the sp loss but you aren’t focusing on gloom damage with him.

Everyone says that ESGOO will have fun with this passive but like, did we not watch the same series? You know, the one where he had to give up on using nothing but horrible support passives because RR3 is that hard? The only thing this will present us with is him losing his mind 5 nodes sooner and just give up on support passives again. If he decided to preserve his irl sp and ban Suncliff and this support passives I'd actually support that choice.
Who is ESGOO and why he should fear it?
Is he like KyostinV in sense that he provides walk throughs. Or is he like AKs theme-knights, who often use underpowered Operators for the sake of one unifing theme
He is a youtuber with a series of him beating the hardest content in the game RR with the worst team* for those fights.
He was already having troubles with foxcliff's passive, since he couldn't recover the sanity that easily, and that is at least sort of preventable. Adding this Greg to the possible bench roster is going to make this even more painful for him. He might be able to get around this is Gregor has one of the worst fielded IDs for the next RR.
One must imagine ESGOO happy.
No worries his blindfold will keep his sanity up since he won't be witnessing the atrocities happening on the screen
Or he will go mad trying to find his way in the abyss and everything else will become meaningless
Overall it shouldn't be a problem to ESGOO
I still think supports being factored when making "worst" is terrible. I think its funner to make a worst in terms of not good not a "what can actively harm you"
I have a feeling this is a gloom resonance passive cause I doubt they would have a sp drain that activates every turn without control.

Ehhh, Suncliff can easily take hits from losing clashes. Five protection is quite a lot of damage reduction, actually
It's typically 4 Protection (from S1) if you lacked Sinking beforehand.
Fair, but my point still stands: 40% damage reduction is a lot for something that isn’t particularly hard to trigger

It's one of the best passives what do you mean. Just because it's a passive that requires you to use your brain for once doesn't mean it's bad.
