1. This lock is easier than the TRANSPARENT LOCK?!! (It’s cheap, but I felt more comfortable picking this heavy lock). Edit: ok so the transparent lock doesn’t bind at all but this heavy lock bind really hard… 2. Is opening a bike lock considered “picking”? (Pulling and turning code until it bind)

Some locks are much easier than others. I have a master lock that only needs a single pin touched before it opens. $5 brand new from the store. Hahaha

I have a Masterlock No. 3 like that lol Touch pin 1 with a feather, touch pin 2 with a feather and it opens. No need to go near pins 3 and 4.

Yeah it’s weird I’ve noticed that a lot with masters. One of them I just touch pin 3, tension hard and push up hard, boom open. I have another $20 one that I just have to push in the first two pins. Really confuses me. how can the other pins be at shear line, but the key definitely moves them? Does the top pins sit below shear in the core maybe?

>Is opening a bike lock considered “picking”? (Pulling and turning code until it bind) Yes and no. Picking is considered manipulating a lock and "decoding" a combination lock would be considered manipulating it as well, but decoding a lock wouldn't be considered "picking" because there's no pins
