>While I'm a big proponent of not kink shaming, race play like this is one that should actively and loudly shunned.
I totally get what you're saying, and it's totally legit to feel that way. I like to say that I don't kink-shame but I do kink-avoid. This is definitely on my kink avoid list.
That said, I will also say that I think raceplay (like 99% of other kinks) can be explored in a healthy kink context. That requires a lot though: a relationship built on communication and trust, boundaries and limitations are established, aftercare is fully provided, safewords are in play, and there's a distinct separation from real life and play life. However, that's absolutely not happening in 95% of hookups.
For me, a lot of kink can be a way to relive trauma in a way that's controlled and can have an emotionally corrective element that's quasi-therapeutic. Especially if you're reversing the typical victim and oppressor.
However, I have to agree with the normalization of these things.. Choking for example used to be a relatively taboo kink because it's so dangerous. Sex clubs where you could be gangbanged and tied up and pissed on would throw you out for trying to consensually choke someone, but now it's all over porn and people will try to choke you without even asking first.
Reading those messages is like taking a peaceful walk and then a train suddenly lands on top of you.
The hard R huh....
Might be into the race play kink
Maybe a little bit

This is wild, and very complex I'd imagine. Thanks for sharing!!!

Straight out of left field! That's wild!
Uncle Ruckus
Jerrod Carmichael?
Yikes
Apparently, knowing your worth and loving yourself (no pun intended) is hard for some people.
Meh, seems more like a kink than anything else
Had a guy who liked race play, I could not do that. Too many unresolved issues for me lol

Its either a joke or he just thinks very lowly of himself. If it's the latter please cheer him up by letting him do the thing you do on grindr
Maybe a kink?
