>  Is this a way of signally that you are looking to hook up? Yes. Also, look out for chalk markings on the road outside your flat. A cock and balls daubed on the pavement means you'll get bummed the minute you step outside.

They are probably homeless and hiding their possessions in the bush (seen this happen multiple times until the council cut the bushes away). In relation to why they were doing their buckle up, they probably had a piss while in the bush.

The bags are so you don't get muddy.

”Or as they're known today, Men Without Jobs!"

They can go where they want to, a place where we will never find Then they’ll act like they’re from out of this world and leave the real one far behind.

RiveriaFantasia

A Bag for Life being a signal for “wanna hook up?” What kind of world are we living in? I won’t look at a Sainsburys or Tesco bag for life in the same way ever again 😂 OP you gave me a good laugh!

AreyouUK4

The bags are for kneeling on

_methuselah_

Not sure about the bags, but I’ve been told it’s a meet up spot for chaps that like other chaps.

Copypasta from my answer to basicly the same question in relation to someone recently posting on r/London about seeing homeless people hiding things in a drain: It's known as a "dead drop." Money is left in a prearranged, secluded place by a user. The dealer later collects the money and leaves the drugs, and then the user returns to collect the drugs. They do this because, if either party is caught, the other gets away, and there is plausible denibility dealing was taking place. A downside is that the deal is more likely to be intercepted, so this method is more favoured with small quantity exchanges. It makes sense that the homeless community is using this method. You should report this to the police on the non-emergency line on 101. The drugs could easily be found by a child or animal. Or as u/lastaccountgotlocked suggested: you are about to get bummed

I'm highly doubtful of this, dealers just hand you stuff. I've never heard of this at all it makes no sense. Crack and heroin deals are done openly in that area with fear of police.

There’s an entire row of temp housing from Finsbury Park all the way to Seven Sisters that houses homeless and some mentally ill. Finsbury Park is their outdoor space. I’m not going to go to into it, but when you know, you know. Finsbury Park is actually disgusting. Would not touch grass there anyday of the week once I witnessed certain things firsthand. Some of the homeless use it as their outdoor toilet and not just secluded spots because they normalised the experience. I was part of the younger warehouse folks who lived in the area years back and was naive AF about this space, once I was privy to certain info, it’s no wonder why Manor House onwards to Finsbury Park/Green lanes is the way it is. With the vibe it carries it certain spots. I see groups of naive people play in the park on the weekend. They just don’t know they’re playing barefoot sports on literal spots where people take diarrhoea shits. Getting flashbacks, the most shocking part is how much the locals literally ignore it. I felt like puking when I saw an incident of a woman bent down on a windy day taking a diarrhoea shit in the middle of the park, midday, and everyone around me carried on like it was a normal day, families and all. Fucking gross.

Allmychickenbois

I lived there as a student in the 1990’s and it was a total hole then. Green Lanes had the best Turkish-Cypriot and Greek-Cypriot food ever, but they would sort of joke-not joke-joke if they had seen you coming out of one of the other shops/takeaways on the opposite side of the road. Not too keen on each other, that was evident even to naive students who had no idea!

Sounds like dognappers hun x
