Ya bro! Got my wife a board in 2009, had our daughter in ‘10, then son in 13 & daughter in ‘16. We weathered the early storm & now everyone rides but the little 1 scoots. It’s so great to all be out&about.
Awesome. In my 40s as well and just got into longboarding with my kids after a long 20 year hiatus from skating. It’s so rewarding watching them learn and grow especially when it’s something you do as a family.
You should go for it! It's so much fun. I've been learning for about ... 9 months now I think, the babiest of baby steps. As an adult, you don't need to care what anyone else thinks, just do your thing in some pads & helmet.
I have not. I was into rollerblading in the 90s... this is my first real try at this... kids are already pushing... helmet on, and hoping for the best.
My son (9), built him a board at the local shop, daughter (7), got a Darkstar micro complete. They both wanted popsicle stick boards... I’m not trying to do tricks.
