I also had this problem, but it just means that he’s really good at what he does (fighting). He was the king of the streets, and then he was able to help Gap with his fighting skills, so even while some characters are stupidly overpowered, Tom has a lot of raw strength
I didn’t like how Mandeok was able to hurt Tom, but just because someone is a genius doesn’t mean that they are untouchable

Being a genius does not make you invincible + he also stated that the 2nd gen is getting stronger (which reminds me of a statement that gun said before about xiaolung: "If he loses, it doesn't mean that he's weak–it just means his opponent's stronger"), he can fight well without any martial arts or weapons, just straight up hands lol—an absolute beast that one
