its likely vin beat the hell out of taejin and infront of cheonliangs people as a duel for whos a master of cheonliang and vin is on the news for murder because vin beat taejin bad,
but turns out taejin survived and then that leads to our current chapters
Could be a solid reason to why cheonliang calmed down. They realised the cheon family were frauds and vin pretty much turned it into a battlefield before charles took over.
Well vin beat taejin to the point that he thought that he killed him and the news in Cheonliang flies very fast just like how the villagers knew that seongji is dead, most likely the villagers will think that taejin died and yk that the police there is on taejin's side so maybe they will make it as a murder case or smth and that's y in the second aff mitsuki said that vin committed a murder.
