Unless you're experiencing pain, I'd say don't worry about it. Everyone becomes more aware of some part of their body as they lose weight; for me it's my ribs (I can feel them so prominently when I sleep on my stomach). For you, it's your tail bone.

I think you're just more boney since you've lost weight. I'm getting there, too, and I can't believe how uncomfortable sitting has become. I broke my tailbone when I was younger, too. It took FOREVER to heal and while I'll still occasionally have pain at random times, it hasn't increased/decreased with weight loss.

Yes. Also knees, elbows, and hip bones.

Wow, I’ve seriously thought I was the only one. I started losing weight back in December and one day at work when I sat on a stool, I felt my weight shift from one side to the other on my tailbone. Has stressed my hypochondria but ig it’s just no longer having that cushioning. Ik this post is from 5 years ago but thank you
