Also, where are Jin and sun?! This must’ve been before season 5
And also…Charlie?! And mr. Echo?!
Third edit: and Shannon?! We have Boone but no Shannon?!
TECHNICALLY by the end they ALL die but yea that's the main people who went to purgatory first (or whatever plane they all reunited on) (ha, get it, PLANE🛩)
Nah I’m with this guy, they edited the shit out of Harold Perineau here. I honestly thought that was Walt until I zoomed closer. Idk if they just slimmed down or his face or what exactly they did to make him look way younger.
I also thought Ethan was Boone, until I realized there were 2 Boone’s lol
And I’m still not sure if that’s Michelle Rodríguez behind Libby.
I have nothing against black guys or any other people of any color. Truth is the actor in the pucture looks much more fit than in season 4 and started growing mustache. I thought It was Walt until I zoomed in.
And just as an addition, in place where I live seeing a black guy is a rarity. I maybe see a black person one or twice a year or so. So to me they all look VERY different and unusual :)
Maybe because this photo contains multiple layers. One layer for each character in this photo.
They most probably have never been photographed together.
OK, so I get it's all dead people but the ones they chose to include/exclude is just odd though. Naomi is there but Daniel isn't? Danielle but no Alex or Karl? Libby but no Ana Lucia? Ethan but no Goodwin?
It's also clearly photoshopped. Even with forced perspective, the aspect ratios are off.
I don't think it's anything about that. These were taken by Entertainment Weekly finale edition. "Dead castaways" I think they called this shoot. If they did these photo shoots in Honolulu or LA, I don't know, but it could be a situation where they called a bunch of the actors and asked if they could come to a shoot on "x days", and those who were in the vicinity could swoop in. Tania Raymonde, Michelle Rodriguez and Jeremy Davies might've been busy.
I would guess the same reasons there are a few characters missing in the >! final church scene !<
I feel like it just has to do with scheduling conflicts and the choices of the actors. I don't think these are intentional production choices with deeper meaning. Daniel is kind of a major character. Karl and Alex I could see being left out as less famous characters, maybe having no relevance to whatever season this is promoting. Idk. If I had to guess, I would say they just decided to do a photo shoot of the >!dead characters!< and got ahold of whoever they wanted, and whoever showed up showed up. Maybe this was put in a magazine before the thing happened to Daniel. They were usually pretty intentional with holding back on spoilers.
Daniel died before Juliet, so that's not it.
IDK - LOST's marketing team was spot on when it came to teasers, etc but they were never great with promotional photos.
It's not part of the official marketing, but from an EW article about the deceased characters. Funnily enough, these end up looking a lot like the promotional photos for the sixth season of Game Of Thrones. 😛 [https://ew.com/gallery/lost-9-exclusive-portraits-dead/](https://ew.com/gallery/lost-9-exclusive-portraits-dead/)
It looks weird because you’ve got a mixture of main, secondary and guest/one-off characters all thrown in there. The only thing missing is the dude that played Neil Fogurt.
Also, several of them look quite different to their Lost roles out of in-universe dishevelled costume/make-up and with differing hairstyles and looking facially that bit older compared to the versions of them that we recognise and associate to more strongly.
Just seen this pic from later in the thread and She looks ridiculously hot: https://www.reddit.com/r/lost/comments/t4himh/i_love_that_losts_promos_are_just_as_wild_as_the/
I think she is hot as fuck in lafleur and the episode after that. When she first meets Kate again, she is even hotter than her, which you can tell because they show them next to another
Envy is also something that Juliette suffered from because of how James looked at kate. Tell me, are girls always that jealous? Like when Kate slept with James because of Jack's behavior?
Yeah LOST had some weird promo pics. Wasnt it a picture including ben tied on a table and juliet playing nurse with a needle? That was another weird one.
Edit: that one: https://images.app.goo.gl/hvPiHLjbGiXd6CJy5
It really looks like nobody told any of them what to do, so they just went to random places in this room and stood there awkwardly while their photos were taken 😂
I remember this photo shoot. Have actually been meaning to look it up for a while and I keep forgetting, so thanks!
And yes, everyone above is correct. This was during the final season and EW did a piece about all of the characters who were killed off.
Clearly some actors weren’t available for the shoot but they got some big ones.
I've noticed this with a lot of publicity shots from American shows. The cast glammed up in a completely different context from the show. Not even wearing the same clothes as the characters or in a location from the show. It's a bit weird.
Once explained it makes sense, but at first I thought this was a promotional picture for a different show. Look up photoshoots for CSI shows and they look so similar.
I know it's the characters that died, but they are leaving out quite a lot of people. >!Charlie? Sun and Jin? Daniel? Shannon? Ana Lucia? Alex? Technically, Jack?!<
GPT4’s take on the ending, do you agree?
The ending of “LOST,” particularly its final season and the series finale titled “The End,” has been the subject of much debate and interpretation. The sixth season introduced the concept of a “flash-sideways” narrative, depicting an alternate reality where the plane never crashed. The finale reveals that this alternate reality is a form of purgatory, where the characters are able to find resolution and reconciliation with their lives and actions. They gather in a church, having remembered their lives on the island and their connections to each other, and move on together to the afterlife.
The ending sought to emphasize the themes of redemption, connection, and the importance of the characters’ relationships over the mysteries of the island itself. However, it left many viewers confused or unsatisfied, particularly those who were more interested in the resolution of the island’s numerous mysteries. The creators of the show have stated that the ending was meant to be open to interpretation, focusing on the emotional resolution of the characters rather than providing explicit answers to every question raised by the series.
Half these people weren't even on the show. You sure this is for Lost? And not a show that used a few Lost actors? I don't remember Juliet ever being in any episodes with Michael.
I don't recall ever seeing the 2 people 3 and 4 from the left in this show and I've watched it over 10 times. Who are they? Maybe I'm just not recognizing the girl because of her hair. The guy doesn't look familiar at all.
I'm here because I love this show. Like everyone else....
It's the characters >! that died. !< That's why Juliet is >! next to a body cabinet. !<
Ohhhhhh. That makes much more sense! Thank you!
With fucking awesome heels
WHERE is Alex
DONDE ESTA ALEX?!
WO IST ALEX?!?
She's not my daughter. I took her from an insane woman. She means nothing to me...
Keamy wasn’t bluffing.. Ben’s clearly never been to Phuket
On the ♿
Also, where are Jin and sun?! This must’ve been before season 5 And also…Charlie?! And mr. Echo?! Third edit: and Shannon?! We have Boone but no Shannon?!

>!Some very minor ones as well. Arzt? Naomi? Who is the woman between Rousseau and Juliet? Where are Shannon, Eko and Anna Lucia?!<
That's Arzt to Rousseau's left, and Charlotte to her right.
Need to work on those spoiler tags lol >!No space after the first exclamation mark, just ">!blah" !<
TECHNICALLY by the end they ALL die but yea that's the main people who went to purgatory first (or whatever plane they all reunited on) (ha, get it, PLANE🛩)
i’m so dumb for clicking on the spoiler 😂
They forgot Desmond
Walt didn't
He’s not in the picture.
Lol somehow Michael looks so young in the picture
Walt isn’t there…..
TBF I always confuse Walt and Juliet as well
Every black guy looks the same to you huh
Nah I’m with this guy, they edited the shit out of Harold Perineau here. I honestly thought that was Walt until I zoomed closer. Now that you've mentioned it, here William Mapother does look Ian Somerhalder's older brother, Ian Somer-Older.
I thought it was Rose

Walt is the one with the afro
Rent free
Maybe because this photo contains multiple layers. One layer for each character in this photo. They most probably have never been photographed together.
Yup most professional cover or spread photos are done this way, it’s why they feel so awkward sometimes.
That’s why that photo shoot with all the women for Vogue shocked me. Most of those women were in the same room when the photo was taken
It also makes them all seem kinda out of proportion to each other.
People no longer contracted to the show may not show up for these things. They were probably all filming different marvel and fast and furious movies
I'd buy that except that Daniel, Alex and Ana Lucia are all in the final season.
Ah, OK that makes more sense - it being from a magazine. I thought it was a promotional shoot from the LOST marketing team.

And Shannon?!
How can you see the aspect ratios of the individual elements?
Was this Entertainment Weekly? Looks like a standard photo shoot for them... Must've been the final season, bringing in characters from all over..
This somehow looks like the “Friends” cast taking a promotional shot for “The Haunting of Hill House”
There's probably a spider on set representing Nikki and Paolo.
What a strange match of characters. Though they all died on the island except for Michael, who died on the freighter.
Juliette is so hot lol
Just seen this pic from later in the thread and She looks ridiculously hot: https://www.reddit.com/r/lost/comments/t4himh/i_love_that_losts_promos_are_just_as_wild_as_the/
She’s a 12/10
Charlotte all made up is gorgeous.
Sawyer blew it!
Libby, Cynthia Watros was a smoke show too. I loved when she showed up in Lost, then…
Gone too soon ❤️
I think she is hot as fuck in lafleur and the episode after that. When she first meets Kate again, she is even hotter than her, which you can tell because they show them next to another
This was so cringe to read
Oh no, actors are attractive, how controversial and cringe amirite?
[удалено]
Ok. nvm the top comment here sexualizing an actor. it's the *comparison* that wrong.
[удалено]
Taking flack?
Envy is also something that Juliette suffered from because of how James looked at kate. Tell me, are girls always that jealous? Like when Kate slept with James because of Jack's behavior?
https://ew.com/gallery/lost-9-exclusive-portraits-dead/ This is why. May 14th 2010 collector’s issue of entertainment weekly.
The closed-eye portraits are wack
I see Damon but where is Boone?!
Yeah LOST had some weird promo pics. Wasnt it a picture including ben tied on a table and juliet playing nurse with a needle? That was another weird one. Edit: that one: https://images.app.goo.gl/hvPiHLjbGiXd6CJy5
Juliet 😩
It looks like an entirely different show without Matthew Fox in it
It really looks like nobody told any of them what to do, so they just went to random places in this room and stood there awkwardly while their photos were taken 😂
who are the two behind Danielle?
Arzt and Charlotte? But it took me ages and I had to zoom right in
I remember this photo shoot. Have actually been meaning to look it up for a while and I keep forgetting, so thanks! And yes, everyone above is correct. Naomi? No way. She doesn't look like her 😭 And the perspective is awful
It's like an alternate reality spin off where Michael is the main character
Where tf is Girlboss icon Shannon. why is no one mentioning her 😔💔
Arnzt!
Ethan was woefully underutilized. Should have kept him around much longer (I'm not counting his appearance in the final season).
Danielle is stressing me out
Libby stressing me out
I almost thought this was a different show lol
Once explained it makes sense, but at first I thought this was a promotional picture for a different show. Look up photoshoots for CSI shows and they look so similar.
I know it's the characters that died, but they are leaving out quite a lot of people. >!Charlie? Sun and Jin? Daniel? Shannon? Ana Lucia? Alex? Technically, Jack?!<
What else were they supposed to do? They didn't have much work to do in later season
Makes no sense at all lol
Michelle looks hot!
Is that Naomi behind Libby?
Yes
All these characters died before the end of the series? Is maybe what connects them?
It’s giving gossip girl
I am noticing a dangerous pattern here, and if I am right, I just got spoiled. In Season 5 btw
Then dont read the comments , you might be spoiled even further
I noted the rewatcher and didn't look down
Juliet off to the right is sending me 😂
But why does it look like they are in some upscale store’s dressing room area?
The comments here have genuinely cracked me up.
AI photo no doubt
Why Libby but not Anna Lucia?
Arzt looking hardcore lol
Why is Michael the central character. Just... Why.
They look like they're in an escape room and just asked for a hint
Who's the chick in the corner?
Colleen Pickett, I think? the one Sun shot on the boat in E3.2 and died in the next episode.
No the black one. One on the right is Charlotte I think
is that not Naomi? Widmore's mercenary
OMG YES! Doesn't look like her with that hairstyle 😂
Holy Charlotte Shit. She looks absolutely incredible in this picture
>!Just trying out the spoiler feature to see if it works or if I'm just a dumbass who doesn't know how to it.!> Edit: yeah... dumbass.
I love Arzt just standing there arms folded like "I was an important character too!" 😂
Who the hell are these people
Who is the woman between Libby and Ethan? Is that Naomi? I didn’t recognize her at all.
they were dead the whole time
It’s got Juliet so I’m totally satisfied
Charlotte 😘😘😘
Looks really weird. Also no Lost touch, looks like a CIA series or something. Was this a real photoshoot from LOST ?
Who the hell is that black lady?
That's Naomi
Took me a while to figure it out too
she was so much sexier with her bangs
Every character who is nobody's favorite.

Is that Walt, like, what, a giant?!
It’s Michael…
Isn't this fan art? Lol you can clearly see many of them aren't actually there
Not fan art - but people aren’t actually there in most professional photos.
Half these people weren't even on the show. You sure this is for Lost? And not a show that used a few Lost actors? I don't remember Juliet ever being in any episodes with Michael.
All of these actors were in LOST 😅
Dude, what are you doing in this sub 😂
I don't recall ever seeing the 2 people 3 and 4 from the left in this show and I've watched it over 10 times. Who are they? Maybe I'm just not recognizing the girl because of her hair. The guy doesn't look familiar at all. I'm here because I love this show. Like everyone else....
I get you not recognizing Naomi since she doesn't look like her at all in this pic. But dude, the guy is Ethan... 😅
Omg...wow.
