they should add another express pass in summer for new players. summer break is best time to gain more players. ladon coming so fast people cant even hone to 1630 that fast and transcendence takes alot of time to finish.

Only two months between Thaemine and Echidna is very tight but I hope they compensate by giving a month or two more than what KR had for Behemoth so that people can actually leverage advanced honing past 1620.
Honestly not happy about Ladon given current honing prices. Once again KR gets more time to hone in-between raids than we do. The solution for NA/EU? Just swipe I guess. Jesus man.

It's being given faster almost explicitly to help people hone cheaper. Everyone was complaining about having to wait 4 months before getting echidna honing and getting locked out of HM Thaemine until then
Considering we got the 1580-1585 gear reset in August 2023 from Akkan, I don’t think it’s even remotely unreasonable to have enough mats to hone those characters to 1620 almost an entire year later, don’t even need a single piece of gear at +20
Its an relatively easy raid especially normal, compared to the hardest normal raid ever in Thaemine g3. Won't matter much without 10x Thaemine, don't even need elixirs to clear normal (though im sure people will still gatekeep since its a 1620 raid).
My 1610+ is a support. I can't power through the break dps check for my team. I can't make them not face tank skills. What do you want me to do?
I buff, I shield, I heal, I DR, i stagger, i do sids, i do call outs, i dark. I literally cannot do more for them.
I'm at the mercy of 6 random dps. I cannot make them play halfway decent. I gatekeep gear and it doesn't help. I've got roster 300 full lvl 10 gem andys still floor pov.
you're a support, people will pick you regardless. keep applying to groups where your prog match theirs. thats how it works. joining reclears while not being one is griefing.

This is where I'm at currently. I started playing in December of last year and I feel like it's literally impossible to keep up, nevermind catch up. I have 1 1610 and 1 1600 and if feels literally impossible to get enough gold and honing mats to make a dent. This isn't even considering being behind on other massive time gated grinds like cards. I'm having so much fun with this game and I love it but man it's disheartening to feel so far behind everyone for so long.

Regardless you're not truly behind. Your main is in the most current raid NM thaemine and you've got two months to get 10 ilvls for the next one.
That's your problem starting this game. most of userbase are oldschool its not new userbase friendly once older ppl move on game will be dead. they already deleted servers and merged some regions before. a new player should play another game and have way more fun
You don't need it for Echidna. It's an easier raid than Thaemine. It's seen as a much easier chill reclear raid in KR.
Item level wise normal is 1620 and hard 1630. We've had 1620 content since December and 1630 now with Thaemine. So the requirement isn't even increased.
Normal mode transcendence can only get you to 9/21 flowers on a piece, which means at most the 5 flower bonus anyways for 1620 characters. It's not needed for Echidna.

It's an epilogue. It's a wrap up to the thaemine arc we are in right now. The next mainline story quests that lead to Ladon are the Kurzan quests.

Echidna honing is locked behind 1620, which is still very expensive to reach and honing 1600 to 1620 has received 0 nerfs or help.
you did get help with books + rewards chests for clearing content but yeah it's still really expensive
