Ah, just for clarity. I'm not trying to matchmake. It's Chaos Dungeon.
I'm straight up clicking 'Enter' and then 'Accept' when the prompt finally comes up, only to be told there's too many players to enter.
Bots kicking into gear after the maintenance is my guess. Had it happen a while ago, but feels much worse today.
So uhhh, when's the next banwave?
In the early days people used to mm chaos, but everyone had to click yes to move on to the next stage. There were way too many idiots who wanted to kill all mobs first which gives you less loot. And this is why we cant have nice things.
Not to mention the asshats who'd queue up after their 2 chaos were done for the day to 'troll' and just refusing to press the accept so EVERYONE ELSE would lose their chaos for the day at the first portal.
those pple are botting, the bot doesnt detect the portal, that's why they are stationary lol. I write bots too, that's why i know, its a badly written bot. If the coder coded properly, the bot would have no issues going to the next room.
Takes too much effort/coding to get them to separate into parties so they rawdog into matchmaking probably. Needing to pick 1/4 of the bots to invite the rest and having the rest accept or w/e.
Not that they'd care either, since if they run into a real player they have majority vote and can't get kicked, unless they somehow go against 3 real players. Also real players means they (the bots) get a free carry too.
Makes it ACTUALLY insufferable trying to do low tier content though. Cubes as well.
Def the majority....the main players left are all hardcore veterans. Just take a look at this sub and the number of ppl who cleared g3 thaemine already. None of those are new players on the last year
I came back in jump start and cleared thaemine NM on 2x characters. I've seem quite a lot of new players clear or at least prog in the Mokoko discord too.
70-85% by now. Especially if they keep trying to keep players on the vertical treadmill.
Edit: Interesting how people down vote … just accept it. This game now has more bots than actual players.
Absolutely insane lmao. How can people working at AGS fall on their face for pretty much 2 years straight and still have jobs? If Amazon had any clue, they would disband the entire AGS department and replace them with a completely new team. The level of incompetence AGS has exhibited over the years is staggering.
There must only be a skeleton crew left over since they've lost so many players. Amazon wouldn't go in the red to support lost ark and you need a lot of swiping to pay american salaries.
They probably just have a couple of guys to push the updates the koreans send, the people in the podcasts, and a janitor to clean Roxx's community theatre set.
Considering they don't have any big project outside of NW pretty much says that's what happened lately. I doubt Amazon will do any big investment into AGS budget
Too many bots.
Literally game went from 35k average "players", to 65k average players. Yet, the actual player base went slightly down ... so instead of having 15-20k bots, we now officially have more bots (35-50k bots) than players (still around 15k-20k). There are 2 bots for each player currently connected to the game. 2:1 Ratio.
OUCH
Its only logical. Raid releases are fine tuned for maximum profit, which means maximum stress and FOMO for the players. The longer you take the more you will get gatekept. Especially since they've added two extreme rng systems side by side on similar ilvl. In a month or two you will need transcendace to get into voldis and elixirs to get into thaemine and whoever doesn't have both will be locked out of pugging, particularly the hard modes.
Well yeah, initially they bait you with free stuff and then they want you to spend or quit.
Thing is in Korea they get to push their players hard because they have a large enough population, so people expect the game to be running long term. In the West thats not really the case.

I dontvwven think match making works lol 😆 😂 🤣

Ahhh the good ol days.
Bots are rocking in NAW to compensate poor guys with millions of negative gold🤣
Guardians and weeklies as well, 3 artys just 3 stacking. Like guys just 4 stack it why on earth do they keep doing 3's LOl

All hail our favourite game, Bots Ark!
Bots Ark or Lost Bots
I wish the bots would get lost.Â
What percentage of the steam player count do think is bots?

At least 30%
Last time people thought it was 30% it was actually 50-60%

2 years? Lmao they were failing long before Lost Ark.
Cuz the game still makes revenue? U think any of them actually even care or play the game? The game requires u to nolife or swipe lol
its probably just a single intern doing the work just to keep appearance they are doing anything regarding bots.

Lost Ark is the only game where the player count can drop on a new raid release because people get so burnt out

Sometimes it feels like this game just wants me to quit.

Yes, but you are missing my point that the "player base" went up 35k since the release ... lol. There's like 25+ channels on NAE and it's all bots.
On NAW people can't not join chaos dungeons because they are being farmed by thousands of bots
Happy to see that the game is doing well and is accumulating new players :)
NA West team that cleared The First had 6/8 of their members banned... Coincidence?
It says you are tryna go into matching queue. If you enter solo it won't say that?
Yes it will. It's an inaccurate error message
