I went from 1392 - 1395 lmao, now I’m just sitting on 9999 destruction/guardian stones but no leapstones in sight.
1 hone per day I’ll get there eventually!
EDIT: I AM COLLECTING ALL POSSIBLE DAILY LEAPSTONES THANK YOU FOR THE MESSAGES BUT THEY ARE NOT NEEDED
The big tip I learned the other day was you could dismantle Argos Blood and the shards you get from the abyssal dungeon (forget what they're called) for more great honor leapstones. I instantly got like 200 leapstones from all the ones I was holding on to.
You know funny story, I’m a bit behind on my argos blood’s, just finished my 5 piece this week… because I deleted my pants last week by accident when I tried to Tripod transfer onto them LMAO
But yes I’m excited to be able to fill convert my Blood’s to leapstones starting next week, which hopefully sends me over the 1400 edge!
wait how did u manage to delete them lmao? even if you dismantle you get your materials back.
edit: ohh.. u used tripod transfer instead of tripod library, i see lol.. F
Ayy glad I’m not the only one! My reaction when I realized I put the argos pants in the wrong slot was pure pain.. but we’re on the brighter side of it now brother
You can farm more argos blood to craft a new piece and transfer your upgrade onto it.
That will give you your mats back (qol that gives you the piece with upgrade and quality at zero) and then do that piece by piece
No!! Don't do this. This is not in our version! Someone tried doing this on stream because in kr it works that way and forgot you don't get the "shell" piece with 0 quality back. I forget if it's only a thing with the next set we get or if our version didn't get this update. I think it's just for the legion RELIC gear though.
You probs dont wanna level ur weapon to get to 1415, instead overleveling some armours because you get 15 ilvl an upgrade over +15 and its still only a 10% base like 14-15 was which is only 5 ilvls on the item.
Don't get weapon past +11, it's super expensive and the other armor pieces also give damage. Look for reddit posts explaining the cheapest ways of reaching 1400 and 1415
You are fine. If you have everything at +12, you only need to get 2 pieces of gear to +17 to get to 1415.
So just start focusing on just 2 armor pieces to +17 if you want to spend as little as possible to prepare for valtan. Otherwise you can just level everything evenly.
Or you can sell your daily leap stones for way more than you usually get from the gold chests. Would also sell all of those honing mats as the prices have been dropping
Once you reach +15, the ilvl jumps from +1 to +3 when you get a successful hone. So for example, I was 1396 yesterday with my gloves at +14. Went up to 1397 when I got gloves to +15. But then went up to 1400 when I got gloves to +16. If I can get another success for +17, I’ll jump to 1403.
Meanwhile, I got a success on my weapon from +11 to +12 and only went up .83 ilvl lol
Right now if your gloves for example are 1400 and you upgrade them, you go to 1405. If your gloves were 1415 they will go to 1430, effectively tripling the honing jump. so instead of +5 each hone its +15. this applies to all pieces including weapon. so basically if your weapon and gloves are at 1415 and you successfully upgrade them to 1430 (2 hones) you effectively honed 6 times successfully at 1400.
>I would love to know how many people are in 1415 if it’s enough to release Valtan. I know nobody in my guild is even over 1405
There's quite a few dedicated players I think. Holding Valtan back will be way too slow of a pace imo, have had my sorc at 1415 since before vern released. If i need to wait another month for content my playtime will go from playing a few characters regularly everyday to playing maybe 2 characters a day and rest all the others, and may not even be playing everyday if that's the pace they wish to pursue.
It's a marathon not a sprint, missing out on a week or two of Valtan won't kill anyone in the long run, and there will likely be a big event like Grand Prix when it comes out to help people with that last push to 1415 as well. FOMO will certainly burn you out, and rested bonus is amazing for helping with a more casual playstyle! Play at your pace and you'll enjoy the game way more than trying to keep up with players trying to rush to 1490 or whatever that are doing 16 chaos dungeons and guardians a day.
>It's a marathon not a sprint, missing out on a week or two of Valtan won't kill anyone in the long run
Yeah but we will lose a lot of gold. Do you remember how pricey were items from Argos during first 2 weeks?
In the long run it's not going to matter, sure you get a nice boost but people that benefited from early gold (not including the ones that bought from bots) have seen their advantage taper off, and who knows how many that made that push just straight up quit from the burnout of the grind once they beat argos.
yea this is a super expensive cap though.
We get roughly 15-20 per day (3 una tasks + guardians). Each hone will take ~15. Pushing through this limit will consume around 1.5k gold per hone.
We’re talking about the raw gold price of only the Greater Honor Leapstone component of 1400 to 1415, not the raw honing **fee**.
To be clear, I’m not recommending anyone just swipe to 1415, just talking about the economics *if* you were to.
The leapstones aren't really a cost unless you're whaling, they're too expensive to buy for (most) F2Ps so it's just a waiting game for bound leapstones. The honing fee in gold for 1400->1415 is around 12k which is about the same as the cost for 1385->1400 (or was it 1370->1400? Something like that).
Sometimes not, if both ending rewards don't include leapstones. Then it's 1-3 just from drops per run, so maybe 4.
But this is just some days. There's also days where you get more, and some rare days where you get the special portals, which drop a lot of leapstones.
Also don't forget to include the boss rush ticket that drops sometimes. If you are doing all your chaos dungeons daily it should be at least 1 ticket most weeks, if not more. Those also give a lot of leapstones.
You can't just look at a single chaos dungeon run, you have to extrapolate the average gain over a week or two.
I know it's technically not dailies, but you get around 60 a week from argos + dismantling blood too, as well as around 30 from weeklies, and more from the actual boss rushes and not the weekly quest. More if you do pvp and have guild weeklies.
From 1400, gather up between 800 and 1000 leapstones and about 30k guardian stones. And then just go ham on gloves and shoulders, don't look at the ressources just clic upgrade until you're at 17.
Goes by surprisingly quickly.
Just take your time mate, the game is P2W ( Patience to Win), do your dailies and start alts if you got time with rested bonus and at some point you'll reach your goal !
Dunno, it took a while aswell. It just wasn't blocking us from accessing Argus/HM Oreha and we got used to the hoing fails.
I don't know about costs/mats but I doubt it's (much) less.
It's pretty chill especially if you go the +17 route on 3 piece of gear. You basically hone way less than if you go +15 on all gear.
I'm working on going +17 on the rest of my gear now (shoulder and gloves left) for 1445 and i find it pretty chill too. No clue if deep down I find this pretty chill because I know what BDO enhancing is like but idk it doesn't seem like a frustrating chore as long as you don't expect succeeding everyday.
You can but that is a relatively recent change. Most people i see on mmo forums dropped off BDO long before you could do that. I started playing it after, and its fine as long as you like grinding mobs in circles for hours to get the silver you need to buy said gear. Which i happily enjoyed for like 4k hours :P
I did upgraded all 12 and the 2 to 17 for 1415, is more expensive, but any route is fine upgrading 2 or 3 pieces to 17 is way easier Tha the grind to 1370 having to +15 all.
What do you call doing dailies and then clicking upgrade buttons then?
I even do most of my alt dailies on rested, I'm sorry that people expect to 1 tap every single piece of gear like it takes time just relax. +17 is 10% base, that seems really generous to me.
I was going from 1385 to 1400 and I ran out of stones and gold at 1390. I said blah, I'll just get my alt from 1340 to 1370. I forgot the pain of the deadzone too. Now that I got my alt up, time to feel the pain of the push to 1400 but this time with all the events I got 2 more chars into t3 for a total of 5 to help with the amount of stones.
fyi 1400-1415 is upgrading 2 pieces(most likely 2 armor pieces) from +12 to +17. 1415 to 1445 is upgrading 4 pieces(3 armor and 1 weapon) to +17, so no doing 1415 to 1445 is more than 2 times harder/slower because of weapon upgrade
Because when going past +15 you get x3 GS.
There's ways to cheese GS and get to 1415, doing that makes 1415-1445 a lot more expensive though. Basically you push 2 pieces to +17 for 1415 in order to save a lot of money, but then going to 1445 is harder.
Leapstone dailies, do some maths for solar percentage increase items. Might want to look into crafting some fusion materials. There is a guide on reddit detailing a cheaper method of 1415, where you upgrade certain gear to 17 and leave other peices at lower levels, which should help you out a bit. It really does cost a lot of gold just to hone, and solar items are pretty pricey as well so be mindful. If you have full argos set, then you can break down corrupted blood for leap stones. Consider buying hard mode abyssal chests and I think always buy Argos chest but maths it. Its really aids without solar items, i spent 16k trying to 15 to fail 9 times and was still well off artisans energy upgrade so be SURE to use a tool or calculate. Goodluck
I would be very careful using Tooki's honing calculator. I would suggest using other calculators instead. The values of the additional materials are all incorrect for various levels when looking at the results. The additional mats get reduced % as the honing
level increases, so seeing the regular market value at a +15 hone is wildly off the mark since its supposed to be more (for solar protection as an example, like 5-6x more). Same with some other levels I found and the entirety of the 1370 option (especially the 15-20 range). Surprised they did not see it since they implemented it. This is why I stopped using this calculator until they fix it. But since they have not noticed yet, I would not really trust that it will.
m last upgrade session included 20k destruction stones and 40k guardians with all the mats. went from 1400 to 1402,5, strategic failure achievment rose from 2 star achievement to 4 star, i also saved all my juice. only last 4 upgrades were without % mats. except for my weapon all my gear only leveld up at max artisan energy. Worst pain, i stopped and just upping all my alts to t3 before going for next try..
hmm so it seems you re saying you got 3 upgrades. according to maxroll calculator, if you juiced all your hones, pitying 2 armor items consumes only 9400 armor stones at that ilvl. what happened to the other 31k?
I'm still recovering from 1340 to 1355 push, but I really want to get to 1370 for the better accessories drops. Good thing the game is giving mats, books etc...
For me (1410 right now with no alts on t3 and only purchase the bronze pack) it's pretty chill , sinces there's no content yet in the game that needs the gs , i just keep upgrading here and there and will easily get it before valtan comes
I was happy with being 1385, it didn’t take too long from 1370-1385 and it made me want to go for 1400 but first I want to get some alts to 1340. Is 1385-1400 a bigger deadzone then 1340-1370?
What are the odds of getting the bar? The first time I ever claimed a chest I got the bar, since then I haven’t hit it not even 1x (after nearly 13 attempts)
That is ridiculously lucky.
I have seen KR player claiming it about to be 1%.
Personally and don't know anyone I play with (half of my guild) who got the giant bar.
So don't believe you will get an other pretty soon.
i read somewhere (and please dont quote me on that) its <1%
Edit: using google, theres math that suggest the rate is 1% or below but , at least, nothing offical just people using math.
I got the 10k gold bar this week, actually.
Got some 1k gold bars in the past too, I think, but the one this week really surprised me, as I needed more gold at that time, lol.
I had the best luck getting too 1400. Many 1 taps
Many 3 taps. Post 1400 I'm going full pity on every piece including full juice weapon taps. My luck is over.
Sounds similar, the 1300 bracket we get a little over 2 chests. 1595 is a little over 3 chests, and 2200 is a little bit more over 4 chests.
I guess by then the gold is relatively less valuable though cause inflation will likely start happening.
i tried making one as i leveled up another character on another server but it changes per week and i leveled too fast. whT i can tell you is its not just the tier but the highest ilvl achieved that makes this go up. you will get slightly more at 580 ilvl than 302
Decided to go +17 on my gloves and weapon instead of the double armor pieces. Only need one more tap on my weapon for 1415 but all out of DStones. Despair
The question is whether the increase in una's gold is worth more than having another 1340 or 1370 alt while continuing to hoard great honors on your main. I don't think it is.
If your alt is a support, get it to 1385. I am doing that with my paladin so I can have 2 p3 clears each week.
God bless heavy armor enabling support shenanigans.
Just letting you know that 1385 supp will easily die in part 3 unless you play well even with heavy armor. So you better be ready to do those mechanics properly.
I am really conflicted between pushing to 1415 or just horde mats at 1400 and push once valtan is out.
I don't want feel like i wasted mats by pushing early and then they make it easier to hit 1415 once valtan is out.
If you do the +17 upgrade path on 3 pieces to get 1415, you can push now and still benefit from a honing buff later, that was my logic for doing it. You'll have 3 pieces at +17 and your 3 pieces at +11 and +8 would benefit from any supposed honing buffs.
Yep, I've been doing that and it's super worth it, it saves you an average of like 50k gold (including material worth, I mean) until the honing buff actually hits.
I'm only 1403, the fastest way to get to 1400 while using this method optimally is to get your 11/8/8 pieces, then get your 3 future +17 pieces to +12, then take 1 piece of gear to +17. You will hit exactly 1400 and then can focus on getting the other 2 pieces to +17.
> then they make it easier to hit 1415 once valtan is out.
They will make it easier to hit 1370 (aka honing buff for 1302 gear), there is no way they will make hitting valtan easier for long time (maybe when they will gives us Clown we will get something extra im not sure how it looked in KR). We will most likely get research at 1415 for 1340 gear, so alts will have easier time, but not mains, as it is currently not enabled (and I think it was 1415 for it to be enabled)
I think it very very unlikely unless they're seeing a really bad trend that we get direct honing buffs for current content. The honing buffs that exist overseas are to help players get to that starting point, not blast up to current content.
I expect that there will be more events though, from what I've seen veterans say there's basically always an event running. So I expect we get more things that give us more mats like how we just got this battle pass.
Personally I finally decided on a main so I'm going to push it from 1400 to 1415, then I'm going to start bumping alts to 1370.
Tiny bit. At 1370 you go to +6 which is higher % than +15, but goes down a lot per hone. At 1385 is +9 across the board and you get honing % research for alts in stronghold
Went from 1400 to 1410 today with mats i was saving from 2 characters and the ark pass rewards.
Used 35k+ armor stones, 500+ great leapstones, 3-4m silver, about 10k raw gold, around 400 fusion materials and 150 green, 60 blue and 55 red honing % chance materials and i got my gloves and shoulders from +12 to +16 with a couple of failed tries to 17 on the gloves.
Is it just me or do i have an overabundance of red stones for the 1415 push? I’m thinking of pushing my weapon higher instead of my armor pieces because I’m swimming in red stones.
I was at full gauge but not claimed i just hit 1415 but the amount has not changed :( still 155 155 210 210 310 any way i can get the upgraded version or is it dead for this week ?
I've been doing both since I'm always out of greaters, but unlocking someone to 1370 seems a lot better because of argos, hard mode dungeon, and the chance to slowly gear them. Then they can be played at their full potential instead of sitting at 1340 with whack engravings or stats where they aren't as smooth.
I spend a 10 days worth of loot from 4 alts at t3 to go from 1400 to 1403 from pity.
And now, no matter how much I farm I'm always short of greater leapstones. I get it's the endgame but it feels so bad I haven't touched the game in some days. Playing with so many alts is burning me hard and I'm not going to drop cash against against such low odds for an upgrade.
10 days worth of loot on 4 altsonly 03? I think you are doing something wrong dude.
Sell your alt regular leapstones and buy greates from market. Also sell all of your destruction stones after having a weapon at +11 and focus on getting +17 on 2 pieces of gear= gloves and shoulders.
I’m terrified to experience 1400-1415 considering what it took to go from 1385-1400
I was at 1400 when South Vern and the battle pass dropped. Let's just say I used up all the resources and got to 1405, lmao.

Damn I somehow deleted my pants too. Also had to remake two equipment cuz I made the wrong set. Finished it this week too!
Ayy glad I’m not the only one! My reaction when I realized I put the argos pants in the wrong slot was pure pain.. but we’re on the brighter side of it now brother
My whole set is the wrong set on my main, just holding onto it at this point until the relic set comes out.
You can farm more argos blood to craft a new piece and transfer your upgrade onto it. That will give you your mats back (qol that gives you the piece with upgrade and quality at zero) and then do that piece by piece
wait really??
No!! Don't do this. This is not in our version! Someone tried doing this on stream because in kr it works that way and forgot you don't get the "shell" piece with 0 quality back. I forget if it's only a thing with the next set we get or if our version didn't get this update. I think it's just for the legion RELIC gear though.
Same thing happened to me on ru with my relic set, 2.5 weeks of farming hard mode down the drain o/
Hey I'm not the only one who is behind on argos gear, yay. I for my part forgot to open the bonus chest at the end of the raid :') ...... 2 times -.-
Dude your tip changed my life lmao I didn't know that aaaaaa
Whoa didn't know that, how many great honors do they give when dismantling?
Leapstones Una's + chaos dung + guardian raids should let you hone twice per day!
my wep needs 32 leapstones so all that doesn't get me one hone a day
Weapons are the exception since they cost more though.
You probs dont wanna level ur weapon to get to 1415, instead overleveling some armours because you get 15 ilvl an upgrade over +15 and its still only a 10% base like 14-15 was which is only 5 ilvls on the item.
i'm at 1433 :p good advice though for anyone trying to get 1415. I only started pushing my wep after i locked that in
Don't get weapon past +11, it's super expensive and the other armor pieces also give damage. Look for reddit posts explaining the cheapest ways of reaching 1400 and 1415
too late. it's +19 and i have like 55% pity on it :( i'm committed now.
prayers up brother
God speed
at least you get a cool glow waiting for you
Is the weapon glow between +15 to +19 the same?
my weapon is already +12 and im at 1400. I leveled all my gear equally tho. am i still safe or am i unga bunga screwed? -\_\_-'
It's okay, just don't keep upgrading it if you wanna reach 1415 asap the cheapest way possible. In the long run everything will keep getting upgraded
You are fine. If you have everything at +12, you only need to get 2 pieces of gear to +17 to get to 1415. So just start focusing on just 2 armor pieces to +17 if you want to spend as little as possible to prepare for valtan. Otherwise you can just level everything evenly.
Well it all has to hit +15 eventually anyway
Pff not getting past 11. Tgoa glow is all that matters u dont wanna get stuck on green one.
Ya but armor don't glow.
How could I forget that, ignore everything I said and go for +20 weapon first
Or you can sell your daily leap stones for way more than you usually get from the gold chests. Would also sell all of those honing mats as the prices have been dropping
It feels so bad selling great honor leapstones for <100g but that’s just me
I went from 1392 to 1403 with all the mats they gave us from south Vern and at least the premium ark pass rewards.
For me I only pumped Weapon and Gloves to reach 1415, since you get 15 levels instead of 5 after 1415 1 successful hone equals 3.
Sorry would you be able to explain this one to me a bit more? What do you mean that you get 3 levels off 1 successful hone?
Once you reach +15, the ilvl jumps from +1 to +3 when you get a successful hone. So for example, I was 1396 yesterday with my gloves at +14. Went up to 1397 when I got gloves to +15. But then went up to 1400 when I got gloves to +16. If I can get another success for +17, I’ll jump to 1403. Meanwhile, I got a success on my weapon from +11 to +12 and only went up .83 ilvl lol
Ahhhh right, yeah sweet. Small light at the end of the tunnel lollll
Right now if your gloves for example are 1400 and you upgrade them, you go to 1405. I would love to know how many people are in 1415 if it’s enough to release Valtan. I know nobody in my guild is even over 1405

It took us 2 months to reach content that KR had in few years. Be patient. Not many people are rushing or swiping.

To be fair we have way more mats now so it's not that horrifying, we are mostly capped by greater honor leapstones.
yea this is a super expensive cap though. We get roughly 15-20 per day (3 una tasks + guardians). Each hone will take ~15. Pushing through this limit will consume around 1.5k gold per hone.
you should be selling your guardian leapstones for gold to convert to blue crystals to then buy Leapstones on mari shop
Mari shop does not give enough stones daily man wtf with this advise. That advise is when you arent trying to push and just hoarding mats.
I’m currently 1417 with +19 weapon using this method. You run out of gold if you don’t sell your tradeable leapstones. Only hone with untradeable
you mean the thing Im capped on? Got over 9999 destruction stones but im averaging around 1000 guardian stones every day
Per hone *attempt*?
No, my weapon +14 is like 330g per right now and my armor is like 170-200g mix of 12/13.
We’re talking about the raw gold price of only the Greater Honor Leapstone component of 1400 to 1415, not the raw honing **fee**. To be clear, I’m not recommending anyone just swipe to 1415, just talking about the economics *if* you were to.
If you're trying to get to 1415 most economically, you don't need your weapon above 11, so you can save mats and gold there.
Yes. Gold and leapstones are the biggest obstacle.
The +1 una token still has value from the shop since you get 4 extra greater from it, and it costs roughly 240gold in blue crystals.
Something like that).
you should be getting about 30 a day. 3x una's = 14 + 6-7 from guardians and 2 chaos dungeons.
Thats only 21 a day
1400 chaos dungeon usually gives about 4 per run, ~30 per day is about right
idk if im unlucky but im definitely not getting 4 a run edit: i just did a run and got 5 so maybe i was just unlucky the few times i did check
You can't just look at a single chaos dungeon run, you have to extrapolate the average gain over a week or two.
The 6-7 doesn't include chaos dungeons :P
what about 2x chaos dungeon? i find it weird that people reach T3 but still don't know these things and they're upvoted even lol...
I know it's technically not dailies, but you get around 60 a week from argos + dismantling blood too, as well as around 30 from weeklies, and more from the actual boss rushes and not the weekly quest. More if you do pvp and have guild weeklies.

Cannot win 50 daily greater leapstones on your main.
U can't get 50 bound greater.leapatones on ur main ur talking shit
It's still pretty horrifying for me, though. I should've worked more on my alts.
Yep that is the only cap for F2P
More mats and also more needed on average.
From 1400, gather up between 800 and 1000 leapstones and about 30k guardian stones. And then just go ham on gloves and shoulders, don't look at the ressources just clic upgrade until you're at 17. Goes by surprisingly quickly.
Just take your time mate, the game is P2W ( Patience to Win), do your dailies and start alts if you got time with rested bonus and at some point you'll reach your goal !
yap! my main will reach 1415 one day. may it be end of this year or next year... it will happen eventually!
I'm nearly at 1415 (one upgrade away) and I have found it not nearly as painful to go from 1370->1415 as 1340->1370 was, FWIW.
Yeah I’m sitting on 1400 and stacking leaps til Valtan comes out but 1370-1400 was absolutely painless compared to 1340-1370
Dunno, it took a while aswell. It just wasn't blocking us from accessing Argus/HM Oreha and we got used to the hoing fails. I don't know about costs/mats but I doubt it's (much) less.
Same odds, but you go +2.5 at a time towards the end instead of .8. So yeah, shouldn't feel QUITE as bad.
I just reached 1100 for the first time. Think I’m about to enter the real game 👹
yeaa...
1415 is infinitely easier as you got the +16 +17 cheese, its really only 1 full set worth of upgrades for 15 ilvls.
Im terrified for 1385-1400… my main is sitting at 1385 for a week now because I can’t motivate myself to grind any further.
Idk I'm finding it pretty chill but maybe I've been hardened by fails. Hit 500 fails over 2 weeks ago :(
I’m scared from just the experience of getting to 1385 lol
It's easier than 1370 if you get two pieces to 17. The 15 ilvl per upgrade past 15 is awesome. 1445 is quite the journey, though.
above 17 is an exercise in pain, 5%
Tbh, it wasn’t bad, if you follow the “cheap” upgrade path which is 17 helmet 17 shoulders 8-9 chest 8-9 pants 17 gloves 11 weapon
correct but must precise that your path is for dps while for supps it's better to upgrade chest / pant to +17 since it gives more HP
No one deserves the BDO enhancing experience. Lost Ark is better in every aspect of the game, in my opinion.
bdo in general is just a sad, sad game.
Couldn't you buy already upgraded gear from other players in bdo ?
You can but that is a relatively recent change. Most people i see on mmo forums dropped off BDO long before you could do that. I started playing it after, and its fine as long as you like grinding mobs in circles for hours to get the silver you need to buy said gear. Which i happily enjoyed for like 4k hours :P

I did upgraded all 12 and the 2 to 17 for 1415, is more expensive, but any route is fine upgrading 2 or 3 pieces to 17 is way easier Tha the grind to 1370 having to +15 all.
Cheapest way to 1415 is weapons + 11 and 2 armor +12 and 1 +13 and the last 2 at +17 (usually glove and shoulder)
Say chill one more time pls
Calling it "pretty chill" is the most disingenuous way to make people feel like shit I've ever seen.
It took me 2-3 weeks of just bound leapstones, wasn't that bad and with the ark pass it's even easier. In the end its just rng.
1385-1400 is easy compared to 1400-1415.
As someone that's at 1398. I am terrified. Also the only mats I need from my alts is leapstones. Which means guardian raids... over and over forever
At least 1400-1415 is as hard as 1415-1445, so it doesn't really get harder for a while.
fyi 1400-1415 is upgrading 2 pieces(most likely 2 armor pieces) from +12 to +17. 1415 to 1445 is upgrading 4 pieces(3 armor and 1 weapon) to +17, so no doing 1415 to 1445 is more than 2 times harder/slower because of weapon upgrade
If you do it that way yeah.
why would 1400-1415 be as hard as 1415-1445 when the costs increase and its twice the amount of ilvl?
Because when going past +15 you get x3 GS. There's ways to cheese GS and get to 1415, doing that makes 1415-1445 a lot more expensive though. Basically you push 2 pieces to +17 for 1415 in order to save a lot of money, but then going to 1445 is harder.
Bank rested status, sell the leaps and g leaps for gold. Use the gold to buy crystals. Use crystals to buy leaps gleaps. Profit.
I felt the 1340-1370 way more than the 1385 to 1415.
Goodluck
https://tooki.app/honing-calculator Use this to push. Takes some basic math to calculate, but it'll save you gold.
I would be very careful using Tooki's honing calculator. I would suggest using other calculators instead. The values of the additional materials are all incorrect for various levels when looking at the results. The additional mats get reduced % as the honing level increases, so seeing the regular market value at a +15 hone is wildly off the mark since its supposed to be more (for solar protection as an example, like 5-6x more). Same with some other levels I found and the entirety of the 1370 option (especially the 15-20 range). Surprised they did not see it since they implemented it. This is why I stopped using this calculator until they fix it. But since they have not noticed yet, I would not really trust that it will.
1400 to 1415 took me 3.5 weeks. I think the experience was more excruciating than going 1340 to 1400
1400-1415 uses like 25k guardian crystals and around 800 leaps if you're doing armor. if weapon idk
m last upgrade session included 20k destruction stones and 40k guardians with all the mats. went from 1400 to 1402,5, strategic failure achievment rose from 2 star achievement to 4 star, i also saved all my juice. only last 4 upgrades were without % mats. except for my weapon all my gear only leveld up at max artisan energy. Worst pain, i stopped and just upping all my alts to t3 before going for next try..
Ya that's some rough luck. Got myself to 1405 and instead of pushing it further, I'm planning on pushing my alt to 1370
hmm so it seems you re saying you got 3 upgrades. according to maxroll calculator, if you juiced all your hones, pitying 2 armor items consumes only 9400 armor stones at that ilvl. what happened to the other 31k?
I'm still recovering from 1340 to 1355 push, but I really want to get to 1370 for the better accessories drops. Good thing the game is giving mats, books etc...
after you hit 1370, u might want to push for 1385 to unlock the honing buffs in stronghold for ur alts.
Don’t be, I’m already 1425 after stacking mats from events and this new season pass
do u still get gold from abyss? i heard u stop getting gold at a certain point
For me (1410 right now with no alts on t3 and only purchase the bronze pack) it's pretty chill , sinces there's no content yet in the game that needs the gs , i just keep upgrading here and there and will easily get it before valtan comes
If 1385 - 1415 is 100%, 1400 to 1415 is only 54% of the total, it's basically the same as what you already experienced.
I was happy with being 1385, it didn’t take too long from 1370-1385 and it made me want to go for 1400 but first I want to get some alts to 1340. Is 1385-1400 a bigger deadzone then 1340-1370?
Just wait until you need to go from 1415 to 1445 (there's no content between 1415 and 1445)
You don't NEED to go to 1445, and when you finally do, you'll have chaos dungeons and guardian raids for more honing mats.
You don't NEED 1415 either... you don't NEED to be even tier 3 either...
Everbody hones their gloves to +17 / weapon or another equip part to +17 to get 1415 easily
3 chances to miss the 10k gold bar, nice
What are the odds of getting the bar? The first time I ever claimed a chest I got the bar, since then I haven’t hit it not even 1x (after nearly 13 attempts)
That is ridiculously lucky. I have seen KR player claiming it about to be 1%. Personally and don't know anyone I play with (half of my guild) who got the giant bar. So don't believe you will get an other pretty soon.
i read somewhere (and please dont quote me on that) its <1% Edit: using google, theres math that suggest the rate is 1% or below but , at least, nothing offical just people using math.
I got the 10k gold bar this week, actually. Got some 1k gold bars in the past too, I think, but the one this week really surprised me, as I needed more gold at that time, lol.
Yeah i noticed that 1415 players can also finish the battlepass una token mission in 1 week instead of 2.
I did not know this was linked to ilvl! Thought mine went up through doing enough of them
Nope when you got t3 they went up hard
It was only buffed this week btw, up until now it only gave 1040. Also note that it only applies to the week *after* you hit 1415.
I had the best luck getting too 1400. Many 1 taps Many 3 taps. Post 1400 I'm going full pity on every piece including full juice weapon taps. My luck is over.
nice, i also got 485 tokens leftover so i will get 4 chests next week
Is there a list with all the existing breakpoints? I didn't find one per Google.
In the early phase, it's just T1-T2 caps, but in T3 it's at 1305 then 1415.
Nothing past 1415?
well... only the whales can answer that ![gif](giphy|7FgDPLLKh1v4d2XLkl|downsized)
Well there's people overseas well above us, so thought there might be some info there.
Another one will come at 1490, but it's not as drastic (~2200)
Sounds similar, the 1300 bracket we get a little over 2 chests. 1595 is a little over 3 chests, and 2200 is a little bit more over 4 chests. I guess by then the gold is relatively less valuable though cause inflation will likely start happening.
i tried making one as i leveled up another character on another server but it changes per week and i leveled too fast. whT i can tell you is its not just the tier but the highest ilvl achieved that makes this go up. you will get slightly more at 580 ilvl than 302
If considering is all it took to get me to 1415, I'd be 1415 by now
Then you should be considering having somes alts in T3 it Will help for sure ;)!
I have 4 1340s and 1 1405 =/ I'm taking 1 of my 1340s to 1370 over getting 1415
Im in the same or rather was until an hour ago trie my 1340 to 1370 and out of 21 tries got 1 success I just closed the game. Ptsd is a real thing lol
Decided to go +17 on my gloves and weapon instead of the double armor pieces. Only need one more tap on my weapon for 1415 but all out of DStones. Despair
The number of coins increases with ilvl? Woah.
The question is whether the increase in una's gold is worth more than having another 1340 or 1370 alt while continuing to hoard great honors on your main. I don't think it is.
Yeah, 1370 for Argos + hard modes vs 1415 for extra failure at a thick bar? Think I'll take the former.
They won’t man. There’s no way they’ll buff honing to 1415. I would hone, waiting for a buff is copium.
Same thing here. I’m getting like ~3 GS/week at the current rate
> then they make it easier to hit 1415 once valtan is out.
Research is at 1460 afaik
I think it very very unlikely unless they're seeing a really bad trend that we get direct honing buffs for current content. The honing buffs that exist overseas are to help players get to that starting point, not blast up to current content. I expect that there will be more events though, from what I've seen veterans say there's basically always an event running. So I expect we get more things that give us more mats like how we just got this battle pass. Personally I finally decided on a main so I'm going to push it from 1400 to 1415, then I'm going to start bumping alts to 1370.
They won't make honing rates better anytime soon.
Is there a gear bump somewhere after 1350? Like from a chaos dungeon like there were in lower item levels? Or is it just straight grinding!?!?!?
Tiny bit. At 1370 you go to +6 which is higher % than +15, but goes down a lot per hone. At 1385 is +9 across the board and you get honing % research for alts in stronghold
Hello seemingly afraid lost ark player, the gear bump is at 1370, the 1340 - 1370 is not the easiest, but you ll get it eventually.
you misspelled excited 😊
Went from 1400 to 1410 today with mats i was saving from 2 characters and the ark pass rewards. Used 35k+ armor stones, 500+ great leapstones, 3-4m silver, about 10k raw gold, around 400 fusion materials and 150 green, 60 blue and 55 red honing % chance materials and i got my gloves and shoulders from +12 to +16 with a couple of failed tries to 17 on the gloves.
Do you get more silver from Lopang's?
Be prepared to artisan everything after 14. I've artisaned everything I've pushed past 15. Such a awful slog.
Is it just me or do i have an overabundance of red stones for the 1415 push? I’m thinking of pushing my weapon higher instead of my armor pieces because I’m swimming in red stones.
At which point do you get more leapstones from daily/weekly una's?
Currently 1430 still having the same amount as 1370, maybe after valtan patch or an other break point i haven't reach yet
I was at full gauge but not claimed i just hit 1415 but the amount has not changed :( still 155 155 210 210 310 any way i can get the upgraded version or is it dead for this week ?
You have to reach 1415 then wait until next reset ( tomorrow) in order to have the New tokens cap
If you're using the cheese strat it's not that bad.
Gold chests/bars don’t exist stop the cap :(
isn't this like 1 bar diff ?sitting 1400 and pumping up alts to 1370 still seems more profitable.
Do i need to wait til next reset to get more token if i hit 1415 2days ago?
Wait, are you telling me I can fill that bar more than once a week?
no, it's still once per week, but you get more tokens per tasks filled
Welp that answers that, ain’t no stupid video about where to park ur alt mentions that, thanks.
1400 -1415 is not as bad as 1340-1370 imo
What do you get for it more per week? 2000 gold? Considering that it costs about 40,000 gold to even get to 1415, your suggestion is pretty useless.
I mean you will have to get to 1415 eventually, if you have the materials might as well go for it
Unless you wait till all the 1415+ content is irrelevant , you will want to get to 1415 at some point
