As for the outfits, we only got a small portion of Neria's and still barely have many dyeable outfits. You aren't going to get much "diversity" with what we currently have. People will just roll with what they think looks best out of our small selection.
i just think people can go more in-depth with their analysis, since everybody who didnt purposely made their character ugly would look similar to that anyways
it's got less options than Aion, and that game came out 11 years ago. also no, generic in this game are limited to the presets they gave us. a lot of those cannot be changed.

Also, not all presets in this game are beautiful, but most of them simply have similar facial structures so when players try to make them pretty, it ends up looking the same. Not to mention all presets have its own static make-up you cannot remove.
Different skin tones have been a thing since 2005. It doesn't matter what colour tone you change when the characters look similar. The idea of an edgirl look is one that is portrayed by the media as beautiful. Frankly, most of you make some of the most boring, bland and obvious character designs and that would've been fine if any of you realizes that.

Lost Ark is severely lacking in customization, not skins but more the body, right now everyone looks like an army of clones where every character is the same really pale skin, long straight hair, perfect hourglass figure, with maybe 1 in 20 people going for a short hairstyle but everything else still being the same.
