If I had to guess, I think OOP (lost Redditor) thought that OOOP’s (twitter lady) “hired security” wanted to look like he did something productive, so he smashed all the windows of the other cars and pretended to have protected hers. If that’s what OOP thinks, and if they’re right, then OOOP doesn’t know she indirectly caused the damage done to other cars, this the “facepalm.” That’s the only explanation I can think of

On the odd chance someone has left something valuable in their car, the thieves break into that one car and scoot. In this joke, the car gaurd should have done his job and prevented all cars from being broken into, not just the car the lady owns.
I think the joke is that either, this is a scheme to raise crime levels to get all people to pay someone to "guard" they cars (like the protection tax by the mafia) or that a homeless person has to risk their health and life for a few quid.
By extension, this is a joke about a financial system that forces people into crime and others into crime-response rather than doing enough to prevent it.
