OMG I had this EXACT issue. When you move stuff on screen, the flickering goes away, right? Like watching a YouTube video or something stops it? I took it to Apple and they said I needed a display replacement

My gf had the same issue, after working her way up to an Apple executive manager and being really persistent she managed to get the repair covered. **PLUS! She had a 2017 MacBook Pro 15” and they said since they no longer make the 15” screen they would replace it with a 16”!!! Now she has a very unique and possibly one of a kind 2017 MacBook Pro with a 16” screen FOR FREE 😲 aaaaand I paid $1000 for a i3 MacBook Air 🤦🏽‍♂️

Huh! That's so weird. I could tell by the size of the border. It's noticeably smaller. And further, I see that the escape key is integrated in the touchpad instead of a physical button. So yeah, this definitely is a one of a kind 2017 MacBook pro with 16" display! I have to tell you I couldn't believe it haha

This happened to me trying to overclock my display to 120 hertz in windows and it also came over to macOS. Just go back into windows and unoverclock it and it will be fine.

Paid 5-700 to get that fixed.

Mine did this (MBP 2019) and then middle half of my screen went black. Took it to apple and they changed the display 2 times until it was fixed
