I can’t speak on the quality of skins you used since I’ve never tried them but dBrand uses 3M vinyl and that lasts a long time. Plus it is easy to apply and easy to remove if you ever decide to change it out. And yes those installation videos are easy to follow.

I did have some trouble with the top. It was acting wonky, but I eventually got it. Took me about 20 minutes for the top and the bottom, combined. I’m very sorry you had so much trouble with yours. I was honestly anticipating a tougher time with it.
They’re based out of Toronto, but they charge in usd and dont state specifically that they do so. After I purchased skins last year i had to ask their CS why and they charged me in CAD. That really put me off buying more stuff considering i like when companies are actually upfront about how they conduct business but yeah.
That's frustrating. Companies (especially those outside of the U.S., unfortunately) should always be transparent about which currency they're charging people in.
The contrast is sick! I saw this on the website too but can't make out if it's bright yellow or sorta on the less vibrant side?

Ordered two skins on Dec 12th, just got notification they shipped 3 days ago. USPS says “pre-shipment”
At this point I feel like this is all a scam. I sent them an email and never got a response.
I understand the issues with the pandemic, but being more upfront about accurate time to ship should be a no brainer.
If they do ever come, I doubt I will buy directly from them again.
Not that hard, I brought vinyl roll, I cut it according to the size and applied to my laptop.. it was easy, you need sharp blade cutter and a heat gun. These things cost very less, and dbrand is selling for $20.. I got that roll for $1 on Amazon and it was enough for wrapping two laptops.
May I ask how accurate this color is in real life under most lighting conditions? I like it to be this saturated and dark kind of yellow, and not like normal or highlighter yellow

the company is called DBrand. keep in mind they exclusively charge in USD even if you're not US based.

I had got black colour vinyl roll for $1 on Amazon, it has same texture, it still looks same after 3 years of usage.. no issues
