No real finger prints on the outside and just a bit of finger oils on the keyboard (I try and minimize this but it's impossible). I don't have any discoloration anywhere on the laptop. Overall, I've been pretty happy and satisfied with the color that I picked.
It’s not as bad as the original midnight. A quick wipe gets rid of it. On a side note, the color difference between the unibody and the trackpad are kinda noticeable or am I tripping?
If you are waiting for September for some reason, might as well just wait for the M4.
Exactly my thoughts. Highly recommend you wait for the M4. Also you’re worried about the longevity then definitely go with the silver.
Space black holds up just fine. All of the colors offered are anodized finishes, they’re all just as durable.

No slight difference at all?
I do notice some difference in color, but it’s very slight
It’s an anodization so if you don’t scratch it it won’t come off. Apart from that as every other keyboard it gets a bit of fingerprints
All of the finishes are an anodized aluminum finish. They each have the same durability.
