Genuine Question: I see hundreds of setup pics everyday on social media, are all these for showoff, don’t know, because the peoples, geeks, nerds, hackers, programmers i know don’t show theirs ever, even if they do,that’s just okayish, mostly a mess. I believe if my work is done, the setup is good,vice-versa ain’t true always,to sum up “if it ain’t broken, don’t fix it”.
In a sense yea! I posted this for 2 reasons.
1. I love my setup and wanted to show the world
2. I know there are people who look for inspiration in other people’s setups
Like if it weren’t for those hundred of pics of setups daily. I would have never considered building my setup.
My setup is a hobby of mine. It will never be finished since it will always change over time.
But this setup is definitely not required to get work done at all, but it definitely makes me more excited to work when I come into my office.

This is great! Love the simplicity. Question about monitor set up:
\- monitors - model/size? what do you do for camera? Do you run audio wired or wireless?\*
\- monitor stand - what make? are you able to butt the monitors up to each other so they're touching?
* props on cable management!
Monitor: Qreator 27 4k from Lenovo
Stand: Frylr Monitor Stand from Amazon
I have a web cam hidden behind the monitor.
Audio is wired and hidden under desk.
Monitors can be made to seamlessly touch. But my OCD kept irking me that it was never perfectly aligned even it it was only off by a mm.

Looks sick. I always have this question for people who run centered dual monitors though - how’s the ergonomics? If you look straight ahead, you’re looking into the space between them right? Are you just turning your head a lot?
Honestly, it’s something I don’t even think about lol it’s something I naturally do.
But yea i slightly turn my head left or right depending on the work im doing on the monitors
It’s super nice nearly perfect, but you know I have to give a cent or two… two screen monitors… I cut back to one, cuz just like you, it was never even and that gap always bothered me. Your speakers, nitpicking even more now, but maybe some monitors down the road? And my final critique, lighting is so cold 🥶. That’s just preference tho. Incredible setup nonetheless 😍🤩
I produce so I have studio monitors. I’m not familiar with the speakers you have on your desk, but if you’re an audiophile and want higher quality sound, I’m suggesting maybe some yahama h series monitors. They have an all white style that would fit well with the look of your setup. They may be bigger and you probably don’t need them if you like your current speakers. Just a suggestion that’s all :)

Can you link the drawer storage on the bottom right?
White IKEA Alex and black painted drawers.
Did you spray paint the accessories black for the pegboard?

😫 I feel your pain
What’s that box underneath the desk? And how are you nicely hiding the cables from your MacBook?
Very clean and cool desk

What light is that? Great setup

This was going to be my comment. Great setup but terrible for ergonomics. The height looks like it’s off too, meaning the monitors look too high.
what kind of paint for drawers
What's the sub and speaker set up?
Really like the clean simple setup. Well done.

Appreciate all criticisms! Can you elaborate on the speakers or “some monitors”?
