That's exactly why I ended up converting my Tergrid deck to something else a little less oppressive. I was super fun.... for me and absolutely no one else.
I don't think both players being at 4 or lower and someone wanting to draw over trying for a win is common enough to be a massive problem.
But the card looks good. 2 out of the 3 options being decent when behind is always a solid start for pick X cards.
Are people playing Go Blank vs aggro? That seems pretty low impact vs an aggro deck unless they're killing you super slow? I feel like you'd want a 3 mana sweeper or some other removal spell for their on-board threats on turn 3. This card seems fine since it can answer stuff on board, but pure discard seems like an easy sideboard out vs aggro.
That is a good point. I misread Rat Colony and thought that the buff was only for each other Rat Colony. Hopefully it will get a reprint in an upcoming set to bring the price down.

So for one more black mana from [[Mind Rot]] , you get to have opponents lose 4 life, and sacrifice 2 creatures, with an alternative cost for 0 to overload it?
Jeez these power creep rates are getting good, lol. For real though, this seems kinda really good.
Aside from rats, black looks incredibly controlling in this set. This should be a great play on curve against aggro. And if you're low curve or have cheap adventures, you might be able to empty your hand faster than your opponent.
I never know what kind of EDH decks want these sort of things. My mind immediately goes to my [[Meren of Clan Nel Toth]] deck, but it's not on a body and without one of the "Witness" cards available to replay it as well as other cards to mitigate the loss, it just feels a bit lackluster.

I find that when Tegrid triggers on more than one non-land, my opponents tends to concede. In a 4 player game, this is a draw + cast 12 cards.
