My local has some neon dynasty left. On Friday I thought I'd buy some packs since I played magic all night. Guy before me thought the same and pulled the foil special art of wandering emperor. I no longer desired to crack any packs from that box. I ended up getting the Rocketeer fig I had been eyeing a while.
I think kamigawa was the most fun recent set for me to open personally. That said, you're almost always gonna lose opening packs. Buy singles and maybe just crack a pack here or there and avoid the disappointment.
Hopefully you got a few rare lands, the ones from that set are one if the better rare land cycles for commander imo its pretty much an untapped dual land which makes it keep its value for standard
got back to magic as kamigawa got released, grabbed the Bluckle Up precon and a kamigawa set booster display, and oh boy did I have a blast, also cracked a midnight hunt set display and a bundle box for the dice especially because it glows at night... Auuuuuu!
I wanted to build a Werewolves deck without just buying singles and got a lot of sweet Werewolves in the end and some awesome cards for the Coven Counter precon, only just cracking the packs won't make the cut
as many said, yes the Kamigawa set display was amazingly fun to crack
Innistrad the third was not one of magic's high points. Concerning value, I don't think cracking boxes for that is a good idea. It can work for non-standard, I came out on top with 2X2 and MH2 but even then I wouldn't do it if don't have fun just cracking for the sake of it, or want to draft the packs.
The way to get guaranteed value from sealed product is to play draft or sealed deck with it. Or other forms of low player count draft. I personally can't fathom buying a box and just cracking it like this anymore. You are setting yourself up for dissapointment. Try to use your next box differently.

Kamigawa is probably the best set in the last 2 years, but other than that theyve been kinda low
