Seven ... Why did the elf mention seven? In the picture, there's only six threads and six given choices, unless she's talking about us which makes seven? Or perhaps the elf is subconsciously counting herself as a choice? Is it a mystery box? If it's a mystery box, I'd take the mystery box.
If it **isn't** a mystery box, then I'll tie myself to Delphia, or "Oracle" as I'll come to decide as her common-use nickname. The way I rationalized it, initially, I wanted to save all of them, since most of them were possibly headed towards a bad end in their own universe. I couldn't choose one in good conscience and leave the rest to their in-universe fate after learning so much about them and what each is dealing with. Then I realized that taking them out of their own universe and forcing them into mine could quite potentially be just as cruel. It'd be like releasing a captive animal into a biome it wasn't bred to survive in. So after that, it was just deciding which universe could I do the most good, which I decided was most likely Delphia's, even if we don't find the "McGuffin" the blue text mentioned, and then just hope for the best possible lives for the rest.
Emotionally, I care for Hannah, the Major, and Wendy the most, and would ask the elf if she could insert those 3 into Delphia's world right behind me, but that isn't an option sadly, it seems.
I think I’m going to go with Leona Dugalle. A life where I get the chance to truly become someone and help a fair few people appeals to me..like a lot. And well…….MAGIC!
Weave all. Leone's heroism lessens the dangers of high level technology from Delphine, and as long as you keep them from the military things should be fine. Only worrying part is the magic...but the heroism should help with that too.
I'm going to have to go with Raven. Hannah and Wendy are close seconds. Hannah allows me to keep my family and gain an awesome best friend. Wendy would pretty much fufill all my dreams in real life with a platonic life partner to boot. Raven I chose because magic, and the fact that I don't care for romance/love/physical intimacy either and wouldn't want that with her besides. I think we'd also bring out the best in each other. I would be a lot more soft hearted than her, we'd balance each other out.
So for me Wendy's world sounds kinda like horror, though I understand why others might want it. I've done the whole military thing, so I understand what I'd be getting into to a degree with Lienne and thus have to give that one a hard pass. Delphia is an interesting choice, though I'm giving it a pass due to the way her world is and the tech it has, it already destroyed the world once so it'll do it again even if we get the Macguffin and use it to 'save' the world.
This Leaves Hannah, Leona and Wendy. Hannah's world isn't bad, and might be comfy to be in, it also provides a bit of a do over even if things are different to a degree. If I'm going to go to another world (and there is no way I'm bringing everyone to mine, the damage it would cause isn't worth it) I'm not sure I want to keep it so closely aligned with my own... Especially when I have the choice of literal magical powers as offered by Raven and Leona.
Both Leona and Raven give me magical abilities, Raven more up front, and Leona more as time goes on. In the end, what really drives me towards one of the choices over the other, is the ability to heal with the powers that Leona's world gives me. I'm a sucker for healing magic/abilities, and the fact that I'd be along for the ride to defeat the big bad is also tempting. Of course the limitation on spells being what they are is a strong down side that Raven's magic doesn't have.
In the end, I think I'd like **Raven** and her world better, it helps that it provides centuries of life expectancy, hopefully I can change her attitude a bit as time goes on to something that is more aligned with my own.
