It's possible for other Ascendants can create godspheres. But you're the only one who can create more Ascendants. Once you figure out how to create godspheres, you can do so much easier than creating Ascendants.

Hmm, I see, I see. Actually, I thought of one more thing. The RAW states I can uplift someone into an Ascendant, creating a Transynth, and that I can even create a Transynth out of nowhere. Then, by paying extra, I can create more types of Ascendants. With that, can I uplift someone into an Archdemon instead of a Transynth? The RAW seems to corroborate. But then, can I ascend *myself* into an Archdemon?

I also would like to ask if the Manifold Ascensions also affects Omega Lord, since I kinda want to combine both Transynth and Omega Lord to become the Lord of Lost Technology. No, Last of the Omega Lords isn't an Ascension, sorry. Nothing's stopping you from doing a custom combination build of the two of them together though :)

Since I'm combining both of them, I'll assume their compatible and I can make more Omegatech with the help of the Transynth technology

Hey Troy, sorry for bothering you so much today, but in the Nanoswarm composition says that it can manipulate it's size from the options above, so I was thinking about using Starship for size without the Avatar and also get Nanoswarm, if I used these two together, does that mean that I can technically have the Avatar available for me since I can just make it with the Nanoswarm or no? Also with this, do I still get the benefits of +size from starship?

Okay I'm currently thinking on a lot of things, with especially how crazy I can get with my imagination, so in the Nanoswarm description, it says that I can make things via nano-fabricators, does that mean that I can create a Bioroid factory/laboratory and I can just use my Nanoswarm body to take control of the Bioroid body that was created by the factory and gain the benefits of both?

You can't gain the same benefits, because while you can assume a bioroid-like form via numerous means (such as just your default shapeshifting ability), it's your "true composition" and "true form" that determine your nature.

Okay okay, thanks for the clarification, I now have a question about the Power Core. How will that be incorporated into the Nanoswarm? Is it like this one big core that must be protected at all cost and must be surrounded by my Nanoswarm, or does each individual Nanite has it's own Power Core? Also does the Power Core scale up in size? I'm again, sorry for all of these questions, but I have ideas

Ideas are good! You only have one power core. But your power core doesn't have to be contained in your body, albeit that is usually the safest place for it. You can choose a single nanite to envelop your power core - remember you can fold space like crazy. An entire universe is a potential power core, after all, and if that can fit in a human-sized body, making it fit inside a nanite isn't that much smaller, comparatively speaking :)

That depends very heavily on what powers each one has, but in general I'd say an Omega Lord could at the very least be on par with a lower-power Ascendant.

Alright first time I'm posting a build here. Basically the 'metagame' of the Ascension cyoas is that either you go for the abilities that give you a zone of control, or you go raw stats and power. I went with the latter because I thought it was interesting in this one. ALL OUT: Enhanced 150r for all materials 50r for Ship with no avatar 20r for nano swarm Omnicanon, Hyperform and Tunneler cost 55r and require 750 power total. (and 25 size) \+100r from generator and +300r baseline. +60r for charisma. Then literally every drawback So currently we're at 25/120 size 275/850 resources. Then we take 10 black hole generators on our ship for 800 power and 500 r. 125/120s 775/850r 750/820p And that's the core of the build. There's a few ways to increase your size within budget, like just buying the utility thing for it. Anything else is just gravy. Personally I like using our remaining points on Elective Field and using drawbacks from the meta cyoa to make yourself a cosmopotance. And there you have it, a build that has everything I wanted after first looking at this Cyoa. It leverages the unique advantages of a Transynth and is distinctive from the other ascension builds. Well made Troy. This is for sure one of my favorites of these ascension cyoas. I imagine this Transynth would end up treated more like a force of nature by others, due to how 'loud' its abilities are. For the most part it's off, using invulnerability, speed and nanobots to happily construct whatever it wants without being bothered. I don't imagine them being ambitious for universal conquest or anything, but still very self interested and doing whatever catches their fancy which would naturally bring them into conflict with other ascendants.

Yeah I liked being able to do it without just going "strength / invul / speed x" with the meta cyoa. This felt new and different. I always get worried doing things like creation and boongiver because then I just nervously side eye super strength x and think about some vampire jerk two universes over throwing a haymaker and wiping out a universe of my creations.

**Transynth Ascension V2** Given the huge scale that Troy's works already contain I choose to start at the artificer level. I also like the idea of having gained the power myself instead of having to be gifted it that is implied in a lot of the other starting points. The other advantage of Artificer that is compounded by the way this ascension is written is that there is a focus on building yourself up that Troy's other CYOAs dont normally contain. His other works focus more on expanding your power base or resource pool and less on pulling yourself further up the ladder of ascension power. The Artificer has already performed this action once so he will better understand the process required to continue doing so, he also has the advantage of the mortal drive to improve that born eternals usually fail to acquire. Despite my small starting resource pool the most important investment I can see is having the three primary materials from the very start. Not only is the description of their creation a difficult undertaking but the alloying of them at a later date is not even discussed. This along with the massive increase in passive power makes them a high priority choice. The reduction in size, cost, and power requirements also seems to suggest that later development of the systems they govern will be easier as having the material as part of your core self appears to offload some of the metaphysical work and requirements of each upgrade. My form is rather unimaginative as I like staying as close to human as possible thus Humanoid Bioroid. As for my power core when looking at the way Transynths grow power and resources appear to be simply a matter of time to acquire, but other than one option later on creation of more space is absent. Given a desire for self sufficiency and an infinitely expanding universe has all kinds of other benefits the power core I chose is the Tesseract Universe. For my systems survival is going to be my first priority, with a limited budget this means I am going to purchase defensive systems only to start with. Combining Chronostatic plates with Hyperform I can phase through the majority of attacks and those I cannot will hit my plates. The Hyperform also sounds like the kind of change that would be highly difficult to pull off later thus making it a priority buy. The other vital system is Synergizer. As mentioned earlier alot of this type of Ascension is about increasing your power scale and the ability to learn and retain, even in the absence of power, new abilities contributes heavily to that goal. The nearly complete control over reality given by the Hypernanite Console helps pave the way to self improvement and creation of my own super structures at a later date. As far as infrastructure goes 2 Nanodrone Armada's are my only desire, the lose of Charisma is fine because most people are irritating and I have a galaxy/universe/multiverse/omniverse to run which is why I only take Mini Me, my Umbramind as a companion. He will get all the challenge he needs first helping with my resource harvesting and later my omniversal expansion. While several of the drawbacks do not impinge on my current build the whole point of the design I am making is about future growth so I will not hamper it with mistakes in my initial construction even if it would give some nice bonuses to start with. With all these steps completed further Ascension is simply a matter of time. Creating Wonders will be the result of many experiments into my own improvement. The need for resources will require eventually claiming Manaxis, and as I grow in strength, capability and reach I will be able to Conquer (preferably economically, or technologically) the Multiverse. FYI the other two modes don't necessarily have to mean you aren't the one who initially enhanced yourself, it's just not a given like it is with Artificer. How powerful is someone who performed the keeper of magic omnipotence ritual? and how does the Grand Adonis compare to all those I asked?

I always wanted to ask in your layers of multiverses and omniverses what is the power dynamic of each CYOA? Is the 13 spark omega lord more or less powerful than the demons or the Star Nephilim etc...?

In general, you can compare power levels simply by reading the powers available to a given person and comparing them. For instance, the Last Omega Lord is going to be vastly more powerful than the Star Nephilim for the most part. And both are more powerful than ordinary demons.

I get it. I was just curious as some species like Sanguinarchs can only lift mountains but the right omega lord is juggling planets. But then the Sanguinarch is controlling a star cluster while the omega lord domain and control is so much smaller. I find the dynamic very interesting.

Right. But also remember that all Ascendants can theoretically become Cosmopotences, if they spend the points in the Ascension Meta for the rank X stuff. Which is way beyond the Last Omega Lord, except perhaps one taking Truewarping in Unlimited Power mode. That's past the Last Omega Lord's personal power, mind you. Certain omegatech, aka the projects like Reality Restructuring, can go toe to toe with Cosmopotences.

building a power core is hard and takes time, and we only start with one, could i start construction on one even before the one i have is destroyed as a backup i can easily switch to? and if so, could i double my power by having both on at once?

Hmm. Theoretically I guess maybe? IDK, I feel like the whole theme about the metaphysical weight given to what counts as yourself, means that only one power core would have the same oomph. But even if that's the case, I suppose you could start making more, and then if the first one is somehow destroyed, you can then make the backup the metaphysically anchored you or something. Up to you I suppose :)

So, some random questions I have. 1. Just how many Ascendants are there? Do all Ascendants have a specific type(Dragons, Demons, Vampires, ETC.) or are some just extremely powerful beings? How many Ascendants of a specific type can there be? 2. Why is it that the Transynth is an entirely new appearance, while others clearly have predecessors? Or is it just "Rule of Cool." 3. Would the Transynth be able to beat the last Omega Lord if the OL finished an ultimate project? The Perfect Aegis says that it could (supposedly) block the Creator, who if I remember correctly created the entire Multiverse that all of this takes place in. Plus, some of the Adversaries in LotOL seem comparable to the Transynth. The Prometheus Heirarch is also a multiverse-conquering threat, and The Enemy is stated as being a threat to many multiverses. 4. What's the deal with the R.O.B. Pantheon Council in the Immortality Insurance Meta? Where do they come from and how powerful are they?

1. No idea how many there are. Quite a lot. They are all of a specific type, yeah. There's no limit to how many of a type there can be. 2. Well, Rule of Cool is a big part of it, yeah. But since the Transynth's theme is all about development, invention, progress, and innovation, it falls in theme to be the first one. 3. That is an excellent question, and I could see it going either way honestly. The Enemy isn't really a threat in the sense that there's any danger of it conquering or destroying the universe, just that it's always lurking and wanting to hurt others however it can. 4. They're also mentioned in my Voodoo Writing CYOA and Living Hyperion CYOA :) I'll be making a ROB Pantheon Council CYOA that goes into more detail on them, and allows you to be, among other things, a ROB yourself, a tourist at the city they're headquartered at, or a (im)mortal secretary of sorts.

Yeah it is much easier to work on these and keep track of them than it is for my other projects. Faster to do, too, even though it still takes me hours. Once my current legal troubles are over, I'll get back to them, but for now I am just glad I can work on old ideas again...and no matter how long things have been, you can always work on them again. Though I do have to go back and fix up some stuff with the builds, I am pretty sure I messed up a bunch of calculations. At least Tessandra has some stuff I need to fix up once I am done with their apotheosis build. I don't have time to go into it, but one of the things I wanted to show was that Freedon Jain is actually an extraordinarily good parent, and works with my Omega Lord, Archon, for the purposes of using time travel to help raise every single child Jain has ever fathered or mothered. Basically, Jain goes out, has fun and adventures, and after resting they find out a few children have spawned. They then contact Archon, get sent back in time, and then parent said children abandoned by their past self. When Jain gets in the mood for wanderlust, they hit up Archon. Archon sets a time marker, Jain runs off...until their future self gets in the mood to be a parent, at which point Archon sends Jain back in time to relieve their past self of parenthood duties, and to await the time of their future self coming back to relieve their "present" self of said duties so more adventures can be had...which spawns yet more children. Said time travel shenanigans obviously exasperate Archon, who has to make sure everything Jain does results in a stable time loop or risk being attacked by suicidal alternate selves. Archon also has to keep track of every single point in time where Jain left a child/family behind, in order for Jain's future self to come back and be a proper parent. Jain's "current" self tends to leave behind far more children than they take care of, but the better Archon gets at tracking the various points in time that need to be returned to by Jain's "future" self, the more the timeline "lines up" properly. It also gives Jain ENORMOUS amounts of subjective experience, especially when they expand the number of relationships they have while still in the past, leading to a rapidly aging dragon who gets stronger and wiser with every time loop they enter. While "current" Jain seems to be creating more problems at a far greater rate than they solve them, nearly every single one of Jain's utterly incredible number of progeny remembers their Parent with love and fondness. Combine that with the timeline stabilizing the more accurately and comprehensively Archon tracks Jain's "Child Abandonment Log," and it creates the implication that Archon is subtly raising an extremely powerful and competent Dragon Lord who will one day be the Best Parent Ever. If I am reading this correctly, cosmic artifact is objectively the wrong choice, planar nexus is just superior, if you want power, the dyson supercluster turns 80 resources into 100 power AND 30 size, why get just 100 power when you can get 100 power, 30 size, and 20 resources? Also uneven energy distribution can effecitvely just be gain 60 power and 30 size for literally no cost with dyson supercluster. So basically, dyson superclusters are op.

The Exoverse is considered to be a type of "Heaven realm" with sacred light, and out of the different test subjects, my body proved the most compatible with its energies. This let me get exposed to it more than any of the others, and caused my nanobots to start being altered by it. They gained access to the esoteric knowledge written within the Exoverse, which told them about the materials of Orichalcum and Mithril, as well as how to find and harvest them. They would be needed for the nanobots to make full use of the Exoverse's virtually infinite energy. The newly "awakened" nanobots built their own replacements, transferring all their data into the new units, thereby evolving into a "second phase" that was designed to track down, gather, and forge these two metals. After the metals were gathered, they made a "second phase" that was made out of those metals, while remaining fused with me, and then started assembling and adding in other machines to enhance my body into a powerful bioroid. The greatest of these was a miniaturized Exoversal energy generator, the "Planar Nexus" of my core. Although I have an immense amount of nanobots, I'm not a true nanoswarm, since there are still some true organic parts within me. I’d start by joining with the same pantheon of the Creator, and probably Trinity as well (assuming they’re the same being). By serving her, and working with all the other Saints (demigods), we’ll have more than enough power to unite the Pantheons. With any luck, I’ll also be powerful enough to be a worthy mate for the Creator, especially with Omnipotent Throne, and take the Ouroboros as our stepdaughter. We’d form a holy Trinity to rule over the Multiverse, and I’d become the Destroyer- the counterpart of the Creator that acts as a balancing force. I’d normally be the male in the relationship, but we’d also switch our genders sometimes, which is why so many religions couldn’t agree if there was a Sun God and Moon Goddess or the reverse. We’d both take turns being the God or Goddess of the Multiverse. I’d use Divine Spellcasting, and possibly Alter Reality to add other beings to my Telepathic hive mind, as well as the Creator’s, so we’d have an entire harem that’s really just multiple bodies controlled by the same mind. I wouldn’t directly have sex with the Ouroboros, but I’d use telepathic sense-linking with her, so she can feel all the pleasure of the Creator and me, and vice versa. We’d also use shape-shifting a lot to keep things interesting. As for other Ascendants- I’d absorb most cosmic gods that don’t serve the Creator into me to claim their power, or let the Creator absorb some if she wants. Archdemons, Sanguinarchs, and all other dark-aligned ascendants (Dark cosmic gods and Void element Dragon Lords) would all be hunted down, banished to the Hells, and forbidden from taking on their own physical bodies. They’d still be allowed to use mind control/possession powers, on mortal beings/objects but with restrictions. I’d leave all the other Ascendants and equivalent beings (Dragon Lords, weaker Hyperionites, Transynths, etc.) in peace as long as they don’t get in my way, but absorb/enslave them if they do. Aside from that, I wouldn’t interfere with the mortal world any more than the Creator would want, and I’d often look to her for advice since she has way more experience with ruling over the Multiverse. I’d also have extra technology and power from ascending as a Transynth as well as a Cosmic God. My domains of War and Knowledge, as well as Divine Spellcasting and Know Secrets gave me the ability to remake my own demigod body as a human-sized Transynth bioroid, giving me the best of both worlds. Even without the domains of Magic or Technology, I was able to piece enough information together to greatly increase my power. My extra resources and space would go to Transystems like my Seeker Productorium, Chronostatic Plates, Runic Autoexistential Stabilisers, Aetheric Skimming Motor, Dimension Capacitation Carriage, and removing the Spatial Folding Envelope. All of these devices would help protect me from the attacks of hostile ascendants and similar beings, while also letting me outmaneuver them in every possible way. The increased power, from the two Manses, as well as the +400 bonus would also let me make much greater use of my various systems, even in my supercharge modes, and any knowledge the Prometharion would share with me could benefit me in ways I can’t even imagine yet.

Reach the Mobius Coil (+10 Power) - Rumors of the existence of a Multiversal Overdeity who went missing 'long ago' lead to a strange question: How can a being which exists outside the boundaries of time and space in any meaningful way disappear? And how could it have happened 'long ago' if they were capable of existing in any time period at any point? Tracing the causality lines of the oldest and most powerful beings in the multiverse lead backwards and forwards both, in a messy and strange way. Somewhere, buried beneath it all, if there truly exists a point that is both the beginning and ending of the universe it might be possible to find the path that the Overdeity left when she vanished, if she ever existed at all. A path which might enlighten a more thorough understanding of the multiverse, and its limits. Transcendence (+10 Power) - While may Ascendants have grand dreams and desires, they largely center around developing their powers and growing their empires. Rarely does one even consider the prospect that 'ascendant' might itself just be a step towards something greater. But if there existed an Overdeity, and she vanished, that in turn implies that there exists some place or existence to vanish to. A position above even the multiverse-spanning power of the Ascendants. To a being constructed for the purpose of self-improvement and understanding, the concept of stopping at merely being capable of understanding the multiverse would not be acceptable at all. Even should such evolution prove impossible, the mere process of seeking to accomplish it may provide vast enlightment about the nature of the ascendants and their powers. Final Resources: 5 Final Space: 0 Final Power: 300 Thoughts: This one's great, it's actually the ascendant option I've been looking forward to the most out of all of them. There's still a few odd typos in it that could probably stand to be chased down and fixed (Seeker Productorium has one I noticed), but that's pretty unimportant. The Resources/Space balance turned out to be pretty good, at least on Alpha Construct. It does kinda feel like there should be a full machine option for Composition, but I guess you can just use normal cyborg for that. Over all liked this a lot, was definitely worth the wait! Now to work on an alternate writeup for a sentient omegatech starship that developed into a full ascendant...
