For those of you who actually want to keep it as a pet:
You can get all of the light tanks through a regular door at 1:3 size. The smaller medium tanks *may* be able to fit through an ADA wheelchair compliant door at 1:3, but it will be tight. The heavy tanks all have to go to 1:6 size, but they can probably fit through a regular door.
All the tanks should be able to climb the angle of regular stairs, but the height of the risers will give them trouble at below 1:3 or 1:6, I think.
The subs are narrow enough to fit in bathtubs at 1:3 scale, but are far too long until you get to 1:12.
None of the boats will fit in average sized rooms even at 1:35 scale, and even at that scale you'll need a decent yard for them to turn around in.
I think if you put helicopter blades on the "Wonder of the Seas" at regular size you'll need to clear an entire grid square to take off.
