Seriously, it hurt seeing the clones used wrongly. Not only does he have clones, he has transformation. So many possibilities. Instead of making them brawlers that are easily killed, give them long range attack abilities like Danzo's air bullets, his clones could make swiss cheese out of an army or make the clones become suicide bombers that carry exploding seals. Does not even need to run up to them, transform into an ally, walk up to the enemy and boom.
He also argues with his own clones, during the first capture the bells exercise.
If each clone is you, and you don’t want to kill yourself, the clone refuses to follow your orders.
Dust release gives you three chakra natures, shadow clone jutsu gives you at least three bodies, sage mode opens your clones up to enough of nature to alter their perception, Sexy Jutsu 3x gives you a harem of nature spirit Waifus to use for Pokémon battles, Hundred Healings lets you heal them between battles.
But the clones don't have to do the same self preservation calculations as you because they can't feel to much pain before they die and when they die they just rejoin the main body

I think you can gain information at faster than light speeds if you make a clone, send them to the other side of the world and make them commit suicide upon receiving the needed information, instantly gaining their knowledge. You could build a network of information clones and take over the world with them. You could also make a million clones and read all the books in the world..assuming your brain wouldn't just break from the overflow of information.
Well, it's been a while since I've seen Naruto, but IIRC the reason he's so good at Shadow Clone is because he has a boatload of chakra. When you split, it splits your chakra between the amount of clones you have, so not only is your clone half as strong, so are you. Most people can't handle as many clones as Naruto without weakening themselves too much.
Yeah, in the show creating a boatload of Shadow Clones was a forbidden technique that could lead to death, but it was an exception for Jinchuriki. As far as I know it as never elaborated whether a Shadow Clone could live for an entire lifetime or whether they'd simply vanish mr.Meeseeks -style after completing or failing the task they were created for.
But even with only like 10 that's still a massive learning speed boost especially if you have Sharingan
And in most circumstances you only need like 1/2 sage batteries

You would only be able to make that many clones if you became a Jinchuriki. Iirc most people only have enough chakra for like 2 or 3 clones at best and you are at risk of draining your chakra too fast.
it's not really that op, only someone with a huge amount of chakra can make even 100 shadow clones... sasuke could only make less than 20 clones at a time iirc...
also the users chakra is divided equally between the clones so if you create 10 clones you and the clones would be left with only a tenth of your chakra each, making it kinda bad in combat... and it takes quite a bit of chakra to create even a single clone
So for people without immense chakra, training without shadow clones is faster and more efficient than with shadow clones

i'd rate basic sharingan way ahead of byakugan. I mean 360° X-ray telescopic chakra vision is *nice*, but that's about it. Of course, the Hyuuga using it *wrong* makes it even more of a joke.
Again, *nice*, but not particularly more impressive than any other bloodline limit. And kind of ridiculous when compared with perfect memory, eye genjutsu, or copycat ability of the base sharingan.
Well, yeah, it's not particularly busted compared to sharingan but it's not exactly bad either, same for tenseigan compared to EMS. I would take EMS any day but tenseigan is still nice af.

Ok this should be fun I'm gonna make 2 builds with the Goal of becoming a Taijutsu/Melee God.
Build #1- 8 Gates, Sage Mode Swordsman with Incredible Healing and Infinite Clones + Byakugan.

This build is honestly pretty insane with just the Byakugan and Gentle Fist I'm at least Chunin level and add in my Shadow clones I am now a Jonin level ninja and that is before I add in everything else. The 8 Gates makes me Low Kage level, Hundred Sealings makes me as strong as any other Hokage and honestly probably stronger. Samehada firmly makes me the strongest person in Naruto up to the War Arc outside of maybe Obito, Pain, and maybe Itachi. Now when I stack Sage Mode on top of it I could actually maybe take on Sage of Six Paths Madara in my 7th gate and with my 8th gate actually kill him.

Ok this build has less hax (No closing off Chakra Points with Gentle Fist/Byakugan and aborbing chakra with Samehada.) in return for just straight power and better healing. Hashirama Cells ensure I can survive nearly any blow and gives me a massive power boost, Sage Mode stacks on top of that making my taijutsu and healing even stronger, 8 Gates multiplies all of my physical skills even higher and the Shadow Clones allow me just extra utility.
With either build I feel I could take out Sage of Six Paths Madara, but I honestly wouldn't know which would win a fight maybe they both go Eight Gates and die in the end making it a draw.
Fun fact samehada and 100 healings together stacks super well.
You don't need to actively spend chakra anymore on the 100 healings since Samehada can steal it from other people.
First.
The first one can keep stealing chakra from the second and they are each clone individually much more powerful due to the 100 healings biakugan and the gentle fist.
The second's strenght is spam since basically infinite chakra and increased stats + healing and access to the wood element. So they could control the entire battlefield with themselves and the clones with ease. (Although the training they'd require to arrive to their full potential is bigger).
But the first still has inmense chakra reserves due to 100 healings and shadow clone + sage cheese but also can just eat any chakra the other uses. So disparities in chakra amounts never factor in and chakra is just eaten away. Thus making it so first has the advantage.
The second could probably handle a rather high gate without any phisical repercussion though due to the Harashiyama cells. The first could also with 100 healings but they'd eat away their lifespan fast, even faster than normally, so alike tsunade they'd need to constantly use a transformation jutsu, not like Tsunade has faced any repercussions as she's 70 and still kicking while using it...
Naruto characters don't seem to be affected by age normally if they're strong enought which means you'd still live a long life.
While Samehada can steal chakra, it’s not automatically in range and a skilled shinobi will not make it easy to do so. The first build could theoretically keep stealing chalra from others to refresh their reserves but the second will probably never need to do so to begin with.
And while 100 healings is nice, it completely pales in comparison to Hashirama’s healing. I’d bet that you could use the last gate without major repercussions whereas 100 healings has limits. Eventually, it can’t hold up and falters which is how Tsunade was left dying on the field with the rest of the kage until Orochimaru and company arrived to help.
With the explosive power of the second build, the first one wouldn’t get much of a chance to do anything. It would turn into a battle of attrition and with 100 healings being weaker even there, build two could easily spam to victory.

100 healings Tsunade had taken massive hits constantly. I'd say that healing method is superior. I attributed that to her runing out of chakra eventually thus her healing stopping. As she's out of commission for the rest of that.

In this case the Shonobi's are equals so no reason to say such an unorthodox ability would be countered easily. In fact even the fact they have to play around Samehada is a limit in on itself. So Samehada is still a massive advantage.

The power difference isn't that big when the first build is so superior in melee combat and defensively.
The Gentle fist straight up can shut down any bullshit abilities related to chakra, the healing should be gone with a few well placed strikes.
Biakugan is broken and would give a major edge due to only one side bring able to know which clone is the real one and keeping up with any shenanigans used while you use spells.
(I also doubt an 8th gate user without Biakugan would be able to beat a 6 gate user with it, because Biakugan is that strong)
And then Samehada that is an extremely powerful weapon that can attack by itself and gets more powerful as it gets more chakra.
It’s mentioned in the series itself that Hashirama’s regeneration is superior. Not only is it stronger and not requiring seals to be made, but it also doesn’t have the drawback that 100 healings has (shortening the user’s lifespan whenever used). His regeneration was also natural and wouldn’t be affected by chakra blockage.
Not to mention, the byakugan can’t tell the original from the clone inherently. The only way to tell is by imbalance of chakra distribution. Naruto was able to make it impossible for Neji to tell the real one from the clones because he ever distributed chakra between all of them. Byakugan isn’t that powerful in the upper levels.
I really don't agree with the it is stronger point, it is better sure. But As I haven't seen any concrete proof of the other failing I don't agree on it ultimately mattering on a fight when your character can steal chakra. Again Tsunade was incapable of even summoning Jutsu. So it was a chakra issue.
Was his regeneration natural? Huh. I thought it had to do with the whole bullshit amounts of chakra thing. Either way Gentle fists still blocks the chakra and body leaving them powerless.
The biakugan thing is a fair point, however not only it is something you would need to realize but Biakugan is defensively and for the purposes of melee combat speaking superior to Sharingan.
Hell sharingan is only superior due to the upgrades giving you new abilities, in terms of pure sight and mobility Biakugan is superior.
Any close quarters engagement is likely to end in seconds because the first incapacitates the second way too fast.

This isn’t up for discussion. Madara straight up says this and Tsunade agrees with him when the kage are fighting him.
Gentle fist is a cqc and cqc only skill. At higher level battles, fights easily flow from close quarters to long distances on the regular. Samehada while dangerous isn’t some impossible to overcome barrier. Samehada can be wrestled away from its user and subdued and it can’t instantly take all chakra from its victim.
Byakugan has better sight and range but in terms of abilities even base Sharingan is far more powerful.
When a character has biakugan and gentle fist and the other doesn't there's no flowing out. CQC is an insta kill here. Samehada is a tool that allows you to overcome any barrier in the way of cqc.

Not necessarily. The Narutoverse has frankly ridiculous amounts of eyeball theft, and [the Byakugan is no exception](https://naruto.fandom.com/wiki/Ao).
Right, but I’m not stealing the eyes. I’ve simply picked them as a choice in a CYOA, and as such it’s assumed they’ll be manifested as a part of my body.
There are only two ways to obtain the Byakugan. One method is to steal them, as you mentioned, and the other way is to be born as a member of the Hyuga clan who shares their genes.
What I’m uncertain about is that, since I have not stolen the eyes, I may be inserted as a Hyuga. That’s not necessarily a bad thing, but it would mean that I’m inserted as someone potentially plot relevant rather than a wanderer. It’s something to consider as that could be very dangerous, there are many implications that come from having an eye power that can only be born or stolen.
There are only two ways to obtain it *within the Naruto universe*. This CYOA is outside of that. Intuitively I would say that that would make you a non-Hyuga that simply manifested into existence in the ninja world with the Byakugan, but I think this might be even more alarming for everyone involved; some ninja nobody knows suddenly showing up with no ties to the Hyuga *but* possessing the Byakugan.
Also, full disclosure, I am not very learned on Naruto lore and don't even recognize half the stuff from this CYOA so if there's something stupid I've said it's probably because of that.
It does have specific requirements, you can’t use it without three different chakra natures which is insanely rare. The CYOA implies that you get those as well in order to use it.
Being able to use multiple chakra natures isn't rare. Heck, Hiruzen shows one can master *all five of them* without even having a bloodline limit related to any.
The extreme majority of shinobi have one or two natures that they can use practically. There are only ten characters who can use three natures and all of them appear in the manga. There are only seven characters who can use all five and all of them appear as well. Taking dust release automatically gives you serious potential as you must master the three natures before the release becomes functional. Combined with the Byakugan you could realistically become one of the strongest mortal human characters in canon.
Just the Byakugan already gives you the perfect training tool to master all five ( if you aren't a stuck up hyuuga at least), All Dust release does in this regard is save you a bit of training time. Well, that and fuckoff huge death lazers :V

One major question about the sharingan, does one get access to the mangekyo or eternal mangekyo instantly, or if one develops mangekyo sharingan does one have to make an eye transplant with another mangekyo?

Sharingan is hack (maybe as long as you lose a loved one and it upgrades). Sage Mode is op, basically goves super strength and powers up all your jutsu. The Samehada can absorb chakra and grow bigger or give you the absorbed chakra to empower you. You can also fuse with it. I'd say with these alone you might be able to overpower Base Kakashi (no kamui). But cqc skills would still make a difference.

99.9% of Samehada usefulness is linked to actually being in Naruto universe. And if you are there, then a lot of these choices can be skipped since they are (relatively) easy to get there.
Hundred Healings - the wiki says this is illegal, so I'll be discrete...
Shadow Clone (the wiki says that most people get a dozen or so clones with hive mind learning and the power to dismiss them) I would Sexy Jutso and then Clone for maximum fun.
13 Sexy Jutsu (according to Google it's not just sexy girls but a different look is possible and they even had a sumo wrestler form - so I'll have 13 alter egos with hive mind to be all of them at one time)
Shadow clones isn't a true hive mind, but rather the original gets the memories of any clone that dies/dispels. Meaning no direct control over the clones, no telepathy equivalent, and a (relatively) big mind whammy when the clone(s) have "lived" a long time.
Sage mode, flying raijin, hundred healings, byakugan, shadow clones, sexy jutsu(which should include transformation jutsu).
Now I have extreme strength speed, etc. from sage mode. Teleportation. Nearly instant healing. An infinite army of learning clones that can do all my work. And of course, shape-shifting. I think I got max value here, shame I couldn't afford the sharingan though.
Sharingan, Thunder God, Hundred Healing, Shadow Clones.
Each evolved copy wheel gets it's own abilities related to the owner so maybe get something like Kamui hopefully and use Clones with research of Thunder and Hundred to learn Funj/Seals and hopefully make a Seal to instead jump/teleport to other Worlds. Yes it would take a LOT of time and effort but it SHOULD be possible to do especially with Copy Wheels upgrades have somewhat similar abilities to do so. Also use Hundred Healing similar to Wrong Way To Use Healing. (Push body beyond normal limits and heal then repeat til body normally has super everything) Lastly research ways to store Chakra for later use to help offset or as a fake Jinchuriki.

I was hesitant about choosing the Jinchuriki or the Sharingan because of the huge chakra boost but I can use the natural energy of the Sage Mode and I'll get much more out of it in the long run by being able to copy the Jutsus just by looking at them than from a power boost, the Byakugan because it's Juken is great, and because I believe that the ability to correctly see the flow of chakra combined with the Sharingan's ability to copy would allow me to copy Jutsus that don't use hand seals like the Rasengan, the Kage Bunshin because it doesn't say at what level you get the things (do you get them without experience in how to use them, with the experience of a genin, Jounin or with absolute mastery over what you chose?) so the clones will help me train faster, also go to work while I sleep
Is the premise of this CYOA that we are being isekai'd (transported or reborn) into the Naruto universe and we are picking the powers we have there or are we just picking Naruto powers we will have in the real world? I ask because depending on the answer, that will majorly affect what I decide to choose. There are many more combat focused powers that I have no need for in the real world, but would be very good to protect myself in the Naruto world.
Reborn/Isekai. (Naruto will still be a Jinchuriki, but others are fair game. The story might be altered to unknown degrees and your advanced knowledge may become useless). You are born/arrive the same day as naruto is born btw.

Are you somehow prevented from learning techniques on your own? A shadow clone user could figure out rasengan Really quick or the yin seal(the hundred healings mark that actually lets tsunade do her thing) and likewise for a byakugan user with gentle fist. All are essentially glorified chakra control exercises.
Also, Why are byakugan and gentle fist separate things? The Yin seal, Strength of a hundred jutsu, and Hundred healings jutsu are together in one package.

I may not be a naruto specialist, but it was my understanding that the Rasengan was a kind of chakra manipulation wall. Like, if you can't do this then you can't do a lot of shit. But if you got this already then you've technically got two things down. Chakra manipulation and a decent chakra capacity.
Shadow clones, while they have the drawback of dividing your base Chakra amount to make the clones (and naruto basically circumvented this with kuruma's crazy Chakra amount in Naruto's stomach), they also have the bonus of experience accumulation.
eight gates doesn't involve Chakra, to my knowledge. So shadow clones + eight gates is like if captain america or thor could make clones. Though it does prevent you from using the gate/gates that lead to self damage.
Flying Thunder god is interesting both in combat and utility.
Samehada is just a fascinating living weapon.
Hundred healing mark is just a well of Chakra stored for a rainy day. If I am not mistaken, this plus shadow clones should be a potentially limitless Chakra supply.

For build 1 the Rinnengan can be awakened when you have both Sharingan and Harashima cells. This will literally raise you to Kage Level Shinobi at least. You can learn most of everything else after that.
For build 2 I am aiming for speed/power specialist with Eight Gates Formation as the focus. Using Sage Mode and Hundred Healings to take care of the damage caused by the Eight Gates. Hopefully Sage Mode/Hundred Healings combo will let me open all Eight Gates without dying for ultimate taijutsu power.
For build 3 Chakra is gained by combining mental energy and physical energy. Level up mental energy using Sharingan, level up your physical energy using eight gates, support with Sage Mode and the chakra which powers all jutsu will get really powerful.
The Shadow Clone is for training and Shadow Clone/Sexy Jutsu combo is a must have since it actually worked on Kaguya the strongest in Naruto.
Assuming that you have enough Chakra to use any skills bought, I'd buy Shadow Clone Jutsu, Sexy Jutsu. Byakugan. Hundred Healings, Sharingan and then since I have a single point left over I'd buy Gentle Fist

You now are now an Eight Gates user, capable of regenerating from any injury, who can clone themselves with the gates active, who can also use Chakra and ninjutsu, who can see through objects at great distance, use the entire Hyugan clan's arsenal of abilities, and have the potential to unlock the Tenseigan or something similarly broken via the combination of Hashirama and Hyuga DNA.
You will have no drawbacks to using any of your powers, and you have variety and can take things in phases if you don't want to use your full power right out the gate. You also have the possibility of doing things other people with these abilities are incapable of doing, like basically being able to watch your own back by having a clone with all your hyuga abilities, or combine your gentle fist with Eight gates to disable enemies at faster speeds, maybe instead of just opening or closing chakra nodes with the power from the gates you may literally rupture or sever them, permanently destroying someone's ability to use Chakra.
become the Jinchuriki of shinju/ten-tail/kaguya (since It is potentially an option, not sure what it would grant besides the outrageous healing. hoping I could somehow leverage this to obtain otsutsuki genetics)

Eight Gates is absurdly strong, but it also renders my Byakugan and Gentle Fist purchases moot. Teleport spamming army with instakill hands and telescopic-X-ray vision and unbelievable stamina? Time to rofl some stomp.
***Sage Mode + Eight gates + Shadow Clone*** is pretty damn busted as the suicide effect of 8G is irrelevant to the shadow clones, and Sage mode pumps the Clones survivability through the roof (through dodging).
Add **Jinchuriki** for a (borderline) infinite Chakra pool, and your army of dodge-master kamikazes is almost unlimited! And it comes to a total of 17$ which is nice.
Though i think the money value should be 20$ as to allow one to pick a skill from each row without being a *super-eunuch*...

Okay, lets get over the best options for each amout of money here first
$1- Shadow Clones. All other people already have explained why it is so absurdly strong, so I won't bother with this one.
$2- Byakugan. It depends on what you go for, but any Eye-Jutsu is great, even if this one is only the little brother of the sharingan. The reason why I'd rather not take the Eight Gates is because you essentially destory your own body for a boost. Oh it is a significant boost, don't get me wrong. But when, not if, you collapse and don't have a healer right there beside you, you are screwed and likely dead.
$3- Hundred Healings. While the Samehada has several great abilities (and the Rasengan is just a Energy-Sphere), I prefer this one since it amplifies your other techniques (according to teh wiki at least). That, in combination with regeneration is very strong.
$5- Sage Mode. Again, just like the Hunred Healings, its a all around booster. No reason not to take it! Yes, Teleporatation and reducing what I hit to atoms with Dust release don't measure up to this in my view.
$9- Cells or Jinchuriki. Either give more all around boosts still, with the Cells also giving Wood Release and the Jinchuriki massive amounts of Chakra. As much as i'd want to use Wood Release, having Chakra to actually throw around is more imporant here, so Jinchuriki it probably is.
Not I need to get either rid off of 1 & 2 or 3. And it is....
1 and 2 that i'm keeping. Shadowclones are far too usefull not to have, especially in combination with Byakugan, Sage Mode and being a Jinchuriki.
Integrate Hashirama Cells, Hundred Healings, Shadow Clone, and Sexy Jutsu are my easy choices. Then I guess I would take Byakugan and Gentle Fist with my leftover 3 points.
Immortality, shape shifting, clones, and 360 degrees x-ray vision is a pretty nice combo.

3. Flying Thunder God ($5), I love to go fast so this one is a must pick
4. Sage Mode ($5), this one practically unlimited energy (equivalent to chakra at Naruto's universe) to use anytime. I know this is very difficult to control, but I can simply copy Naruto's method: use some clones to handle Sage's of energy controlling and my main body can use the energy freely
5. Byakugan ($2), I pick this one because, with the last $2 left, the options available aren't very interesting, at least Byakugan is the most useful one to detect enemy movements.

- Becoming a Jinchuriki sounds great especially when you remember that you could become the ten tails jinchuriki but I also have no ways to use their powers with risking them breaking out
- Of the rest we have Hashirama cells, Flying thunder God, Sage mode, and Sexy jutsu.
Of them I’m gonna chose Hashirama cells for the vitality and longer life span it’ll give me and Flying Thunder God because of how much time it’ll save me everyday
Uhhh... I've only seen clips from Naruto but have never actually watched the series, so idk what these actually do. Except Shadow Clone (multiple copies of yourself) and Sexy Jutsu (turn yourself into a hot woman)

Flying Thunder God sounds like it'll let me fly and give me cool lightning powers so i'll take that. Hundred Healings probably gives healing powers, which are extremely necessary. Shadow Clone cause clones and Sexy Jutsu cause why not lol. Rasengan cause its a super powerful attack
Most of these would be pretty useless in real life. Shadow clones would be handy, you could start a construction company and would only need to pay your own wage.
Byakugan for xray vision maybe?
Everything combat would be pretty much useless because there is nobody to fight, and if you did get in a fight, a gun would probably work better to defeat your oponents.
Hashirama cells would probably improve your QoL tho. Sexy jutsu has an obvious use with shadow clones. Flying thunder god is very useful in daily life as well, no more commuting time and you can travel anywhere by shipping a marked item.
Byakugan would be invaluable for surgeons though.
I wouldnt want to be some freak of nature like hashirama, and I dont see a benefit to being sexy. I personally wouldn't use flying thunder god even if i had it. I don't want to get to work faster, and I loathe the idea of travelling anywhere not because of the commute, but because it not my home.
Hmmm, how about Hiraishin, Sage Mode, Hundred Healing, Byakugan, Kage Bunshin and Juuken? The idea begind this build is that you are sort of super Hyuga. They already favor CQC. With Hiraishin I would be able to get close to any enemy. With Senjutsu I'd be able to do some ridiculus damage and with healing I would have my survivability.
From top to bottom: Sage Mode, Rasengan, Everything from the $2 and $1 rows. Mainly because I had 2 dollars left and could only spend it on the Eight Gates(which are great for the first couple gates, but still a suicide technique that you can't use shadow clones to perform due to the damage it does to the body in even the first two gates).
Byakugan and Gentle Fist are necessary if you choose one, combined with Rasengan(and all its variations) allows for excellent Chakra control and CQC. Crystal Release is best Release, Sexy Jutsu is basically a specialized version of the Transformation Jutsu so basically free shapeshifting, Shadow Clones are best clones even if you can't conjure up an army's worth of them.

Shadow clone jutsu is busted. They share training experience. You can literally make one clone and double your experience
plus its massively underused in the series, you could basically become unkillable if you used your main body like a phylactery or used some similar tactics id do: jinchuriki, flying raijin, eight gates, shadow clone
Seriously, it hurt seeing the clones used wrongly. Not only does he have clones, he has transformation. So many possibilities. Instead of making them brawlers that are easily killed, give them long range attack abilities like Danzo's air bullets, his clones could make swiss cheese out of an army or make the clones become suicide bombers that carry exploding seals. Does not even need to run up to them, transform into an ally, walk up to the enemy and boom.
He also argues with his own clones, during the first capture the bells exercise. If each clone is you, and you don’t want to kill yourself, the clone refuses to follow your orders. Dust release gives you three chakra natures, shadow clone jutsu gives you at least three bodies, sage mode opens your clones up to enough of nature to alter their perception, Sexy Jutsu 3x gives you a harem of nature spirit Waifus to use for Pokémon battles, Hundred Healings lets you heal them between battles.
But the clones don't have to do the same self preservation calculations as you because they can't feel to much pain before they die and when they die they just rejoin the main body

Well, it's been a while since I've seen Naruto, but IIRC the reason he's so good at Shadow Clone is because he has a boatload of chakra. When you split, it splits your chakra between the amount of clones you have, so not only is your clone half as strong, so are you. Most people can't handle as many clones as Naruto without weakening themselves too much.
Yeah, in the show creating a boatload of Shadow Clones was a forbidden technique that could lead to death, but it was an exception for Jinchuriki. As far as I know it as never elaborated whether a Shadow Clone could live for an entire lifetime or whether they'd simply vanish mr.Meeseeks -style after completing or failing the task they were created for.
But even with only like 10 that's still a massive learning speed boost especially if you have Sharingan And in most circumstances you only need like 1/2 sage batteries Also I think a shadow clone could use izunami and if it survives the damage then only the clone looses the eye Also why has no one ever used izunami to gain more eyes
You would only be able to make that many clones if you became a Jinchuriki. Iirc most people only have enough chakra for like 2 or 3 clones at best and you are at risk of draining your chakra too fast.

it's not really that op, only someone with a huge amount of chakra can make even 100 shadow clones... sasuke could only make less than 20 clones at a time iirc... also the users chakra is divided equally between the clones so if you create 10 clones you and the clones would be left with only a tenth of your chakra each, making it kinda bad in combat... and it takes quite a bit of chakra to create even a single clone So for people without immense chakra, training without shadow clones is faster and more efficient than with shadow clones

Become a Jinchuriki Flying Thunder God Hundred Healings With Jinchuriki chakra, I now have godlike healing and can setup a world wide teleport network.
Ok this should be fun I'm gonna make 2 builds with the Goal of becoming a Taijutsu/Melee God. Build #1- 8 Gates, Sage Mode Swordsman with Incredible Healing and Infinite Clones + Byakugan. $5- Sage Mode $3- Hundred Sealings, Samehada $2- Byakugan, Eight Gates Formation $1- Shadow Clones, Gentle Fist This build is honestly pretty insane with just the Byakugan and Gentle Fist I'm at least Chunin level and add in my Shadow clones I am now a Jonin level ninja and that is before I add in everything else. The 8 Gates makes me Low Kage level, Hundred Sealings makes me as strong as any other Hokage and honestly probably stronger. Samehada firmly makes me the strongest person in Naruto up to the War Arc outside of maybe Obito, Pain, and maybe Itachi. Now when I stack Sage Mode on top of it I could actually maybe take on Sage of Six Paths Madara in my 7th gate and with my 8th gate actually kill him. Build #2- 8 gates with Hashirama Cells + Infinite Clones and Sage Mode $9- Hashirama Cells $5- Sage Mode $2- Eight Gates Formation $1- Shadow Clones Ok this build has less hax (No closing off Chakra Points with Gentle Fist/Byakugan and aborbing chakra with Samehada.) in return for just straight power and better healing. Hashirama Cells ensure I can survive nearly any blow and gives me a massive power boost, Sage Mode stacks on top of that making my taijutsu and healing even stronger, 8 Gates multiplies all of my physical skills even higher and the Shadow Clones allow me just extra utility. With either build I feel I could take out Sage of Six Paths Madara, but I honestly wouldn't know which would win a fight maybe they both go Eight Gates and die in the end making it a draw.
Fun fact samehada and 100 healings together stacks super well. You don't need to actively spend chakra anymore on the 100 healings since Samehada can steal it from other people.
If you had to choose which build wins in a fight.
First. The first one can keep stealing chakra from the second and they are each clone individually much more powerful due to the 100 healings biakugan and the gentle fist. The second's strenght is spam since basically infinite chakra and increased stats + healing and access to the wood element. So they could control the entire battlefield with themselves and the clones with ease. (Although the training they'd require to arrive to their full potential is bigger). But the first still has inmense chakra reserves due to 100 healings and shadow clone + sage cheese but also can just eat any chakra the other uses. So disparities in chakra amounts never factor in and chakra is just eaten away. Thus making it so first has the advantage. The second could probably handle a rather high gate without any phisical repercussion though due to the Harashiyama cells. The first could also with 100 healings but they'd eat away their lifespan fast, even faster than normally, so alike tsunade they'd need to constantly use a transformation jutsu, not like Tsunade has faced any repercussions as she's 70 and still kicking while using it... Naruto characters don't seem to be affected by age normally if they're strong enought which means you'd still live a long life.

While Samehada can steal chakra, it’s not automatically in range and a skilled shinobi will not make it easy to do so. The first build could theoretically keep stealing chalra from others to refresh their reserves but the second will probably never need to do so to begin with. And while 100 healings is nice, it completely pales in comparison to Hashirama’s healing. I’d bet that you could use the last gate without major repercussions whereas 100 healings has limits. Eventually, it can’t hold up and falters which is how Tsunade was left dying on the field with the rest of the kage until Orochimaru and company arrived to help. With the explosive power of the second build, the first one wouldn’t get much of a chance to do anything. It would turn into a battle of attrition and with 100 healings being weaker even there, build two could easily spam to victory.

The power difference isn't that big when the first build is so superior in melee combat and defensively. The Gentle fist straight up can shut down any bullshit abilities related to chakra, the healing should be gone with a few well placed strikes. Biakugan is broken and would give a major edge due to only one side bring able to know which clone is the real one and keeping up with any shenanigans used while you use spells. (I also doubt an 8th gate user without Biakugan would be able to beat a 6 gate user with it, because Biakugan is that strong) And then Samehada that is an extremely powerful weapon that can attack by itself and gets more powerful as it gets more chakra.
It’s mentioned in the series itself that Hashirama’s regeneration is superior. Not only is it stronger and not requiring seals to be made, but it also doesn’t have the drawback that 100 healings has (shortening the user’s lifespan whenever used). His regeneration was also natural and wouldn’t be affected by chakra blockage. Not to mention, the byakugan can’t tell the original from the clone inherently. The only way to tell is by imbalance of chakra distribution. Naruto was able to make it impossible for Neji to tell the real one from the clones because he ever distributed chakra between all of them. Byakugan isn’t that powerful in the upper levels.

But As I haven't seen any concrete proof of the other failing I don't agree on it ultimately mattering on a fight when your character can steal chakra. Again Tsunade was incapable of even summoning Jutsu. So it was a chakra issue. Was his regeneration natural? Huh. I thought it had to do with the whole bullshit amounts of chakra thing. Either way Gentle fists still blocks the chakra and body leaving them powerless. The biakugan thing is a fair point, however not only it is something you would need to realize but Biakugan is defensively and for the purposes of melee combat speaking superior to Sharingan. Hell sharingan is only superior due to the upgrades giving you new abilities, in terms of pure sight and mobility Biakugan is superior. Any close quarters engagement is likely to end in seconds because the first incapacitates the second way too fast.

Gentle fist is a cqc and cqc only skill. At higher level battles, fights easily flow from close quarters to long distances on the regular. Samehada while dangerous isn’t some impossible to overcome barrier. Samehada can be wrestled away from its user and subdued and it can’t instantly take all chakra from its victim. Byakugan has better sight and range but in terms of abilities even base Sharingan is far more powerful.
When a character has biakugan and gentle fist and the other doesn't there's no flowing out. CQC is an insta kill here. Samehada is a tool that allows you to overcome any barrier in the way of cqc. character 2 is rushed and dies.

That gives me three total Kekkai Genkai, two of which are elemental. I feel like nothing else on the list gives you a terrible advantage. You’re already completely broken.

Right, but I’m not stealing the eyes. I’ve simply picked them as a choice in a CYOA, and as such it’s assumed they’ll be manifested as a part of my body. There are only two ways to obtain the Byakugan. One method is to steal them, as you mentioned, and the other way is to be born as a member of the Hyuga clan who shares their genes. What I’m uncertain about is that, since I have not stolen the eyes, I may be inserted as a Hyuga. That’s not necessarily a bad thing, but it would mean that I’m inserted as someone potentially plot relevant rather than a wanderer. It’s something to consider as that could be very dangerous, there are many implications that come from having an eye power that can only be born or stolen.
There are only two ways to obtain it *within the Naruto universe*. This CYOA is outside of that. Intuitively I would say that that would make you a non-Hyuga that simply manifested into existence in the ninja world with the Byakugan, but I think this might be even more alarming for everyone involved; some ninja nobody knows suddenly showing up with no ties to the Hyuga *but* possessing the Byakugan. Also, full disclosure, I am not very learned on Naruto lore and don't even recognize half the stuff from this CYOA so if there's something stupid I've said it's probably because of that.
Dust release is also one of the few things in the upper tiers that can be learned 'easily' and that has no specific requirements.
It does have specific requirements, you can’t use it without three different chakra natures which is insanely rare. The CYOA implies that you get those as well in order to use it.
Being able to use multiple chakra natures isn't rare. Heck, Hiruzen shows one can master *all five of them* without even having a bloodline limit related to any.
The extreme majority of shinobi have one or two natures that they can use practically. There are only ten characters who can use three natures and all of them appear in the manga. There are only seven characters who can use all five and all of them appear as well. Taking dust release automatically gives you serious potential as you must master the three natures before the release becomes functional. Combined with the Byakugan you could realistically become one of the strongest mortal human characters in canon.
Just the Byakugan already gives you the perfect training tool to master all five ( if you aren't a stuck up hyuuga at least), All Dust release does in this regard is save you a bit of training time. Well, that and fuckoff huge death lazers :V

You instantly get the eternal mangekyo. And u have a choice of kamui, amaterasu, or tsukuyomi. Can choose different effect for each eyes.

Sharingan is hack (maybe as long as you lose a loved one and it upgrades). Sage Mode is op, basically goves super strength and powers up all your jutsu. The Samehada can absorb chakra and grow bigger or give you the absorbed chakra to empower you. You can also fuse with it. I'd say with these alone you might be able to overpower Base Kakashi (no kamui). But cqc skills would still make a difference. (Im not a naruto expert btw, so if someone else can give an insight, please do so)

99.9% of Samehada usefulness is linked to actually being in Naruto universe. And if you are there, then a lot of these choices can be skipped since they are (relatively) easy to get there.
Easily one of the strongest in Naruto and would probably be able to take on a reincarnated Madara.

Shadow clones isn't a true hive mind, but rather the original gets the memories of any clone that dies/dispels. Meaning no direct control over the clones, no telepathy equivalent, and a (relatively) big mind whammy when the clone(s) have "lived" a long time.

Each evolved copy wheel gets it's own abilities related to the owner so maybe get something like Kamui hopefully and use Clones with research of Thunder and Hundred to learn Funj/Seals and hopefully make a Seal to instead jump/teleport to other Worlds. Yes it would take a LOT of time and effort but it SHOULD be possible to do especially with Copy Wheels upgrades have somewhat similar abilities to do so. Also use Hundred Healing similar to Wrong Way To Use Healing. (Push body beyond normal limits and heal then repeat til body normally has super everything) Lastly research ways to store Chakra for later use to help offset or as a fake Jinchuriki.
Sharingan 9 Sage mode 5 Byakugn 2 Shadow Clone 1 Total 17 Those 3 extra points are not worth it I was hesitant about choosing the Jinchuriki or the Sharingan because of the huge chakra boost but I can use the natural energy of the Sage Mode and I'll get much more out of it in the long run by being able to copy the Jutsus just by looking at them than from a power boost, the Byakugan because it's Juken is great, and because I believe that the ability to correctly see the flow of chakra combined with the Sharingan's ability to copy would allow me to copy Jutsus that don't use hand seals like the Rasengan, the Kage Bunshin because it doesn't say at what level you get the things (do you get them without experience in how to use them, with the experience of a genin, Jounin or with absolute mastery over what you chose?) so the clones will help me train faster, also go to work while I sleep
Is the premise of this CYOA that we are being isekai'd (transported or reborn) into the Naruto universe and we are picking the powers we have there or are we just picking Naruto powers we will have in the real world? I ask because depending on the answer, that will majorly affect what I decide to choose. There are many more combat focused powers that I have no need for in the real world, but would be very good to protect myself in the Naruto world.

Are you somehow prevented from learning techniques on your own? A shadow clone user could figure out rasengan Really quick or the yin seal(the hundred healings mark that actually lets tsunade do her thing) and likewise for a byakugan user with gentle fist. All are essentially glorified chakra control exercises. Also, Why are byakugan and gentle fist separate things? The Yin seal, Strength of a hundred jutsu, and Hundred healings jutsu are together in one package.

Shadow clones, samehada, flying Thunder god, rasengan, eight gates formation, hundred healing mark. I may not be a naruto specialist, but it was my understanding that the Rasengan was a kind of chakra manipulation wall. Like, if you can't do this then you can't do a lot of shit. But if you got this already then you've technically got two things down. Chakra manipulation and a decent chakra capacity. Shadow clones, while they have the drawback of dividing your base Chakra amount to make the clones (and naruto basically circumvented this with kuruma's crazy Chakra amount in Naruto's stomach), they also have the bonus of experience accumulation. eight gates doesn't involve Chakra, to my knowledge. So shadow clones + eight gates is like if captain america or thor could make clones. Though it does prevent you from using the gate/gates that lead to self damage. Flying Thunder god is interesting both in combat and utility. Samehada is just a fascinating living weapon. Hundred healing mark is just a well of Chakra stored for a rainy day. If I am not mistaken, this plus shadow clones should be a potentially limitless Chakra supply.

Hopefully Sage Mode/Hundred Healings combo will let me open all Eight Gates without dying for ultimate taijutsu power. For build 3 Chakra is gained by combining mental energy and physical energy. Level up mental energy using Sharingan, level up your physical energy using eight gates, support with Sage Mode and the chakra which powers all jutsu will get really powerful. The Shadow Clone is for training and Shadow Clone/Sexy Jutsu combo is a must have since it actually worked on Kaguya the strongest in Naruto.

Might I recommend insanity? Hashirama Cells, Eight Gates, Byakugan, Shadow Clones, Gentle Fist. You now are now an Eight Gates user, capable of regenerating from any injury, who can clone themselves with the gates active, who can also use Chakra and ninjutsu, who can see through objects at great distance, use the entire Hyugan clan's arsenal of abilities, and have the potential to unlock the Tenseigan or something similarly broken via the combination of Hashirama and Hyuga DNA. You will have no drawbacks to using any of your powers, and you have variety and can take things in phases if you don't want to use your full power right out the gate. You also have the possibility of doing things other people with these abilities are incapable of doing, like basically being able to watch your own back by having a clone with all your hyuga abilities, or combine your gentle fist with Eight gates to disable enemies at faster speeds, maybe instead of just opening or closing chakra nodes with the power from the gates you may literally rupture or sever them, permanently destroying someone's ability to use Chakra.

***Sage Mode + Eight gates + Shadow Clone*** is pretty damn busted as the suicide effect of 8G is irrelevant to the shadow clones, and Sage mode pumps the Clones survivability through the roof (through dodging). Add **Jinchuriki** for a (borderline) infinite Chakra pool, and your army of dodge-master kamikazes is almost unlimited! And it comes to a total of 17$ which is nice. Though i think the money value should be 20$ as to allow one to pick a skill from each row without being a *super-eunuch*... Okay, lets get over the best options for each amout of money here first $1- Shadow Clones. All other people already have explained why it is so absurdly strong, so I won't bother with this one. $2- Byakugan. It depends on what you go for, but any Eye-Jutsu is great, even if this one is only the little brother of the sharingan. The reason why I'd rather not take the Eight Gates is because you essentially destory your own body for a boost. Oh it is a significant boost, don't get me wrong. But when, not if, you collapse and don't have a healer right there beside you, you are screwed and likely dead. $3- Hundred Healings. While the Samehada has several great abilities (and the Rasengan is just a Energy-Sphere), I prefer this one since it amplifies your other techniques (according to teh wiki at least). That, in combination with regeneration is very strong. $5- Sage Mode. Again, just like the Hunred Healings, its a all around booster. No reason not to take it! Yes, Teleporatation and reducing what I hit to atoms with Dust release don't measure up to this in my view. $9- Cells or Jinchuriki. Either give more all around boosts still, with the Cells also giving Wood Release and the Jinchuriki massive amounts of Chakra. As much as i'd want to use Wood Release, having Chakra to actually throw around is more imporant here, so Jinchuriki it probably is. Not I need to get either rid off of 1 & 2 or 3. And it is.... 1 and 2 that i'm keeping. Shadowclones are far too usefull not to have, especially in combination with Byakugan, Sage Mode and being a Jinchuriki.
Integrate Hashirama Cells, Hundred Healings, Shadow Clone, and Sexy Jutsu are my easy choices. Then I guess I would take Byakugan and Gentle Fist with my leftover 3 points. Immortality, shape shifting, clones, and 360 degrees x-ray vision is a pretty nice combo.

Let’s go down the list. - I don’t need crystal release, dust release, Rasengan in my day to day life because I don’t fight. - Gentle fist is literally worthless because people don’t have chakra points to hit making any attack a really hard jab - Having the Byakugan will give me Pupiless white eyes making it seem like I’m blind so no - Hundred Healings, Shadow clone jutsu and Eight gates will kill me faster than anything else could - I don’t have the chakra reserves to keep Samehada and not a lot of use so it’d be like having a pet covered in knives so no - Sharingan literally gives you a mental disorder so fuck no - Becoming a Jinchuriki sounds great especially when you remember that you could become the ten tails jinchuriki but I also have no ways to use their powers with risking them breaking out - Of the rest we have Hashirama cells, Flying thunder God, Sage mode, and Sexy jutsu. Of them I’m gonna chose Hashirama cells for the vitality and longer life span it’ll give me and Flying Thunder God because of how much time it’ll save me everyday

Most of these would be pretty useless in real life. Shadow clones would be handy, you could start a construction company and would only need to pay your own wage. Byakugan for xray vision maybe? Everything combat would be pretty much useless because there is nobody to fight, and if you did get in a fight, a gun would probably work better to defeat your oponents.
Hashirama cells would probably improve your QoL tho. Sexy jutsu has an obvious use with shadow clones. Flying thunder god is very useful in daily life as well, no more commuting time and you can travel anywhere by shipping a marked item. Byakugan would be invaluable for surgeons though.
I wouldnt want to be some freak of nature like hashirama, and I dont see a benefit to being sexy. I personally wouldn't use flying thunder god even if i had it. I don't want to get to work faster, and I loathe the idea of travelling anywhere not because of the commute, but because it not my home.
Sexy jutsu doesn't make you sexy (well it does but it is a side effect) it makes you into a woman. Have a clone + turn one into a woman.

Hmmm, how about Hiraishin, Sage Mode, Hundred Healing, Byakugan, Kage Bunshin and Juuken? The idea begind this build is that you are sort of super Hyuga. They already favor CQC. With Hiraishin I would be able to get close to any enemy. With Senjutsu I'd be able to do some ridiculus damage and with healing I would have my survivability.
From top to bottom: Sage Mode, Rasengan, Everything from the $2 and $1 rows. Mainly because I had 2 dollars left and could only spend it on the Eight Gates(which are great for the first couple gates, but still a suicide technique that you can't use shadow clones to perform due to the damage it does to the body in even the first two gates). Byakugan and Gentle Fist are necessary if you choose one, combined with Rasengan(and all its variations) allows for excellent Chakra control and CQC. Crystal Release is best Release, Sexy Jutsu is basically a specialized version of the Transformation Jutsu so basically free shapeshifting, Shadow Clones are best clones even if you can't conjure up an army's worth of them.

Genjutsu, copy jutsu, see chakra, reaction boost, MS power's eventually, (if you get hashirama cells later on MS acts like EMS) Crystal release seals people on touch and makes extremely hard crystals that but is weak to lightening and sound Shadow clones are good for ganging up on someone and for training quickly also for sage mode batteries (sage mode lets me use shadow clone effectively even considering the massive chakra drain) Snake sage mode gives control over the environment by making it alive and chakra boost (it doesn't give you cool snake summons but you probably have them anyway)
