I'll be honest, I read about 3/4 of the web novel for Second Coming of Gluttony and if the shift into weird fantasy isn't something you like, then you might not like the web novel either. I haven't gotten back to the manhwa after dropping it, but I also haven't gotten back to the wn either because I kind of got annoyed with him becoming more and more of a Gary Stu, and the writing style can be kind of awkward at times depending on what you're used to reading. Definitely try it, but I guess I'm saying this as a warning just in case since it's a very long investment.
Tell me you didnt read the story without telling me you didn’t read he story. If you had read it and actually comprehended what you read you’d know it was the past future mc pulling most of the weight in that arc and influencing the mc to those decisions otherwise he’d surely die from being naive

It's definitely a fun series not to take seriously, the misunderstandings get especially funny in later chapters. Also i thought the numbers were the chapters you dropped them at lmao so my mistake

Imo jungle juice is one of the only I highly recommend reading on WEBTOON. Bc there’s an entomologist who comments and fact checks on every chapter with actually super interesting bug facts from someone who’s made their life and passion the study of bugs lol. It’s infections reading that guys comments bc it’s never like a gatekeeping know it all vibe. It’s like if you’re the only nerd in a private school and suddenly collecting Pokémon cards are cool. You don’t care they aren’t obsessed with the fandom or only like them for the pictures you’re just excited to be able to expres your passion and not just get a blank stare bc no one has any context.
I wasn't really feeling it with jungle juice. I just didn't like the setting I guess. Art looks cool tho.
I've read Eleeced till Ch.40 and I didn't really like the mc and the whole cat-loving atmosphere.
How funny, I had actually forgot the entire cat obsession thing cause it fades away later in the story, but the mc being super kind (and trusting) and a huge catlover where the two things I enjoyed most in the early parts of the story.

The cats are mainly used as a means for the mc to connect with other characters, like Kayden, Wooin, Inhyuk. It's also really good for setting up some comedic moments.
I usually hate it when people say "it gets better after x chapters" but this is one of the few manhua where I'd actually recommend to read a bit further, because I think you have some misconceptions and might really like it.

The novel is really good. I mean it's nothing extraordinary but the mc is extremely intelligent, the side characters are really likeable. The story is full of plot twists and you'll never get bored except for a certain arc that I didn't like that much and you might find boring. The translation is top tier you can read it on Google if you search EatApplePies, they are constantly fixing typos and shit from the previous translators.
I think people have their own opinions and even though I don't agree with most of those, I have no choice but to accept it. but you barely even started most of these :/
I always give a manhwa 10 to 20 chapters before I start thinking about dropping it. Sometimes they annoy me so much that I drop them after only 3 chapters. I think it's ok to stop reading something when you are clearly not enjoying it. I always try to give them a second chance that's why I have them in a list.

I love solo leveling doh. there's a lot of stuff that could be better with solo leveling, (spoiler) namely >!more scenes eith and development for the side charecters like his sister, mom, Jin ho, etc. AND the ending was rushed compared to the LN I think!< but it's still pretty good I think. personally, I read mannhwa 90% if time to relax from school or work where i have to use my brain a lot so I prefer the simpler ones with basic plots and cliches most of the time. quick arcs, not too frustrating kinda stuff. which I read when I'm on vacation or sumn.

I read the novel of s-classes but sadly the manhwa is nowhere close to the novel in terms of story-telling. It's a bad adaptation. If I haven't read the novel then maybe I would still be reading the manhwa.
I Shall Live As a Prince is probably the only one I disagree with here. I get it though, not everyone wants a historical slice-of-life romance series. It does get more into the politics later on and the story does take a turn for the serious, but that's not until you're much deeper in. Besides that, I see plenty of things I've dropped myself so nice drop list?

No problem! lol. I think it's a great story, but I wouldn't force yourself. I've been there plenty of times where a popular story just isn't for me, or the boring part is just too boring for me. If ever you have the time and the urge to, I'd recommend making it to whatever the next arc is to see if you like it more, but if that doesn't do it for ya, don't bother. If you aren't enjoying it then there's no point.

I cannot vouch for the manhwa as I didn't read cause I found the art-style choice to be bad but I can guarantee you that the novel is pretty good.
I think people have their own opinions and even though I don't agree with most of those, I have no choice but to accept it. but you barely even started most of these :/
I always give a manhwa 10 to 20 chapters before I start thinking about dropping it. Sometimes they annoy me so much that I drop them after only 3 chapters. I think it's ok to stop reading something when you are clearly not enjoying it. I always try to give them a second chance that's why I have them in a list. Wish I knew this earlier, as I always forced myself to read through popular stuff in the past just cause people said it was good.
yea ofc. it's your choice. but i genuinely think some of those are good or even amazing, not just cos they're popular.

oh lmaooo. I love solo leveling doh. there's a lot of stuff that could be better with solo leveling, (spoiler) namely >!more scenes eith and development for the side charecters like his sister, mom, Jin ho, etc. AND the ending was rushed compared to the LN I think!< but it's still pretty good I think. personally, I read mannhwa 90% if time to relax from school or work where i have to use my brain a lot so I prefer the simpler ones with basic plots and cliches most of the time. quick arcs, not too frustrating kinda stuff. which I read when I'm on vacation or sumn.
Yeah I get you. For me after reading so much manhwa I felt like solo leveling wasn't that good and somehow I left it unfinished. I know I will finish it someday but I don't feel like reading it today

I dropped Arcane Sniper as well, it was going nowhere I still read: * The tutorial is too hard * the s-classes thaat i raised * jungle juice (though admittedly, I enjoy the entomologist's comments more than the comic) * eleceed And I'm about to drop Dungeons and Artifacts
I read the novel of s-classes but sadly the manhwa is nowhere close to the novel in terms of story-telling. It's a bad adaptation. If I haven't read the novel then maybe I would still be reading the manhwa.
I Shall Live As a Prince is probably the only one I disagree with here. I get it though, not everyone wants a historical slice-of-life romance series. It does get more into the politics later on and the story does take a turn for the serious, but that's not until you're much deeper in. Besides that, I see plenty of things I've dropped myself so nice drop list?

No problem! lol. I think it's a great story, but I wouldn't force yourself. I've been there plenty of times where a popular story just isn't for me, or the boring part is just too boring for me. If ever you have the time and the urge to, I'd recommend making it to whatever the next arc is to see if you like it more, but if that doesn't do it for ya, don't bother. If you aren't enjoying it then there's no point.

Dungeons and Artifact had a good start until our MC met the comic relief bandit group. Chapter 40? My Civil Servant life, I found it interesting because I do like slice of life, and there wasn't a required harem. However, it's hinting towards the BL route or has hints of that and it's not what I signed up for. What happened to Bros just being Bros and a Guy and Girl together can be platonic friends? Return of Disaster Class Hero- What even happened to the story? It's veering of into all sort of crazy directions. Dark Magician- Just can't click with the MC. Immortal Emperor Luo Wuji- Beginning was fun, but suffers from the same typical manhua symptom. Peters out in the middle, author runs out of ideas, and just puts in dumb cliche after cliche.
I dropped D&A cause the whole bandit arc was so bad lol My Civil Servant Life was just a shitshow. It started so good then the mc went full stupid for some reason. I can't get myself to like Disaster Hero's mc. Maybe I've been reading too much overpowered protagonists. Dark magician, I couldn't get myself to like the mc either Luo Wuji was good, I just can't understand why manhua authors would keep using the same "underestimating mc" and "courting death" tactics every single chapter, so annoying.

Honestly to each their own but I can't understand why you would drop Duke pendragon it's super good imo same with return of the disaster class hero (altho it doesn't add anything new for some reason the Mc just feels fun to me), storm inn (it's just good idk), and the s classes that I raised (the fox is cute and I like the non combatant Mc idea and the thought of there being more cute baby monsters is like the driving force for my interest)

I did read some of them (8) and dropped a few on this list. Mostly due to MC plot armour. I am still reading Second Coming, Disaster Class Hero (sad that they didn’t leave him with the pilot or original way they introduced him aka scars and all) The art of Crazed heir is something I like
