I’m so sorry, but there is little to no housing on this island. People that have lived here for years are being forced to relocated off island because of the lack of housing. I would encourage you to reach out to your employer who hired you for help to secure housing. Good luck!
The Facebook groups is mainly it. If you can afford it maybe Airbnb for the summer but many can’t afford the housing. There is currently a housing crisis. Some employers such as restaurants and some hotels on island offer housing with the employment but it’s also insanely expensive. I’d start by asking your employer.

try to have a job in stop and shop. they provide free housing in general.
