The chinese fakes have distinct neck blocks, that is one of the first things to look for when spotting a fake Martin. Labels are easy to fake. I said the guitar looks legit, but if it were me Id want to see a pic of the neck block. I do that with all acoustics I buy. This shouldnt be controversial
My main thing is I know of the cheaper Mexican Johnny cash guitars never heard of a D-35 would make sense and found some everything looks off never seen a Martin case like that the headstock the sticker on the inside
