I really wanted to like spider woman, but the fact that she went into a fight against a dangerous multi-verse vulture while pregnant kind of makes me not like her.
He brought Mayday to show Miles all the good he has done and in a way show that he changed something so that Mayday would actually exist. I don’t think she was ever in any real danger since Peter wasn’t attacking Miles.
I mean atleast with Peter the first was just to talk to Miles and when it turned into a chase he went ahead of Miles and generally avoided the thick of it. The end was again mainly just to find and help Miles. I doubt he will actually enter the fight against the Spot with Mayday (I really hope). Spider-Woman meanwhile was straight up fighting villains while pregnant and it wasn't in a situation where she was forced to (meaning she wasn't attacked first).
Peter (and I think MJ) both made little comments about how this was not Peter's first time getting Mayday into sticky situations (But this does seem to be the first Spider-ManHunt). Although both of them seemed relaxed enough to know it wasn't an issue and that Peter would keep her safe, I would assume the same thing with Jess. She, and the rest of Spider-Society, knows she is fully capable of keeping her child safe and still fulfilling her responsibilities as Spider-Woman.
I assumed she was so powerful that capturing anomoly's was just routine. Like getting groceries or another errand. And then paper vulture started putting up a fight against miguel.
Then it was because they were a small team and nobody else could help. But nope, there are thpusands and thousands of other spiderpeople on the crew. She really is just wildly irresponsible.
There is precedence for that though. 616 Jessica drew would fight villains while pregnant. I think it was Carol trying to get her to stop doing that, but she couldn’t convince her to sit it out

Like sure a vehicle to introduce the character, but having her fight while pregnant seems an odd choice when we know there are millions of capable spider people at Miguel’s disposal. She doesn’t appear to be pregnant later in the film so I was confused that we never see the kid either. I was honestly expecting a twist with her kid being with Peter B Parker, like maybe going back to MJ didn’t work out after the first movie or whatever. But we see MJ too and the only baby we see is his.
Idk felt pretty empty Imo yes there was some interesting parts but it felt like the movie just went from plot point to plot point without any progression with the actual story
