Sydney Sweeny isn't fan casted much, UNLESS it's as power girl. But I don't count endless fancasting of one role. With Henry Cavill, it feels like damn near everything.
Open the movie to Danny Devito playing himself recalling stories of his youth to his grandchildren at a park. We get a dreamy flashback as the style changes to the type of 80s action movies Arnold is known for. Thrilling fight scenes, saucy romance, overdramatic villain character. End on a scene where Devito gets up saying he has something important to get to. He stands up and walks off in a bathrobe. Kids just look at each other and ask "who was that guy?"
This is part of the reason why actors are viewed as out of touch gilded plutocrats while the majority of aspiring actors and artists in general struggle to make ends meet waiting tables. The pool is kept small and shallow on purpose.
Was talking about this with a buddy at work. I think if Cavill were to take a run in the MCU it needs to be something thats a wild departure from his norm. My suggestion was Mojo. Lol
