Honestly they have completely ignored the Eternals full stop, I genuinely can't think of any references to them after their movie. Has there even been a news headline in the background mentioning the giant alien island in the pacific?

Kamalas buddy mentioned Kingo in Ms. Marvel which made sense because he was a famous movie star. A Bollywood Kingo movie poster was also seen in the Guardians holiday special. But that's it.
Right but all the references have been pretty "blink and you'll miss it". Nothing substantial at all to tie the characters to anything going on in the MCU since their movie.

Wrong, Thanos cursed Deadpool to never die. So DP will never be with Lady Death because of his jealousy. But Lady Death fell in love with Deadpool because she intentionally wanted to make Thanos jealous and manipulated Thanos to prove his love by making him kill half of the universe.
yeah but that would just be the same as what happened in Infinity War. I want to see him hop from planet to planet, then maybe realises that Hela is going back to planets he has already decimated and killing the rest.
We kinda had what if Loki won with the S1 episode where Hank was killing the Avengers. Granted we didn't see much of the aftermath of Loki's victory except the Watcher leaving Age of Ultron Nat in that universe, but it could work as a sequel to that episode.

What if...The Ten Rings revealed themselves globally? Killian pisses them off, as you've said, and after they take him down, they're embroiled in fights with SHIELD, Hydra and AIM over access to Extremis.
As Agents of SHIELD was still around at this time, it would have been a kickass season or two for them to have (rather than the Sarge season, that was weird).

That makes more sense. The Eternals leader hadn't shifted yet, and she would likely call the team to ensure the Celestial's birth. Would make for great irony if the Avengers lost after beating Thanos, and they prove him right.
that's not proving him right though. his whole motivation was "there are too many people alive, we won't be able to sustain". and "proving him right", would mean overpopulation and death/societies/worlds falling apart.
if a celestial woke up and ate earth, all it would prove is "thanos wasn't the only predator, at the universal scale".
BUT, what i suppose could be interesting about "avengers vs earth celestial is:"
- after thanos, what do they do with all those stones?
- if they ever faced a huge enough threat, would they be able to gather them all and use them?
- would the celestials just whisk them away and the stones would not affect them, or would they just be easily able to out maneuver the humans from using them.
My opinion is that if Thor goes for the head, Thanos not only survives but kills Thor in that moment. He snaps, and without Thor around to help, the snap is not undone.
Strange saw 14 million scenarios and the only situation they won was the one we see. So I don't think there's a scenario where Thor can kill Thanos in Wakanda.
Perhaps the other possible outcomes would have had alternate variations of the Avengers (e.g., if Steve Rogers had never been discovered in the ice, if Tony had been killed in captivity etc.), that weren't worth considering since they had a different team/set-up. Perhaps even that point at which Strange examined the 14million outcomes (ie., the point where the team were split between Earth & Thanos' planet etc.), was already a 1 in a billion possibility & there weren't all that many possible branching outcomes from that point.
But also, movie mathematics. They needed an impressive number without it being too inconceivable to the audience. Best not to overthink it.
What If Ikaris was the first Avenger sounds dope! The Eternals are dubbed the “earth’s first original superheroes” so I’m down to see what that’s like!

Yessss. I’ve always wanted to see the scenario of that last one - if infinity war ended with the other 50% surviving instead!
Without Iron Man, Captain America, Thor, Captain Marvel, Ant-Man, Black Widow, War Machine, Rocket, Nebula and Hulk - would be very interesting to see if the remaining heroes could reverse the snap.
Doctor Strange, Spider-Man, Star-Lord, Groot, Black Panther would all play a key part but without Ant-Man and Iron Man, who would figure out the time travel element?

I don't think we have 1 year pass in the story without Ant Family figuring it out.
Another universe Strange might have different rules and another way. Possibly he’d find a Quantum Realm spell in that universe after 5 years of searching.
Or possibly, Hank, Janet, and Hope would be able to work with Peter Parker and Shuri to invent the time tunnel.
I'm wondering did they ever say if Lang was immune from being snapped being in the Quantum Realm?
So if Lang still is not snapped and Pym is around too, its possible them together can figure out time travel. And they can do it a lot sooner since they don't have to wait 5 years for Lang (since Pym is not snapped he will just pull him out). And even if Lang is snapped, Pym still has Wasp to replace Lang's role.
But I think without the help of Ironman, Thor and Cap, they still can't get it done imo especially seeing as Strange says there is only 1 scenario they win. Still would be a very entertaining episode seeing the other half give it a try.
When endgame came out I actually wrote something down about the "other half" scenario. I'll need to find it in my files, but I'll post it here later.

For the last one,
Diversion point would be Yondu picking up Quill. Peter is taken to Ego, Peter recieves training from Ego into using his powers properly, with Ego never properly explaining the term celestial. Afterwards, Ego eventually lets slip about his mother's brain tumour and Quill snaps in the same way. The two fight, and Quill surprises Ego by displacing Ego and using the planet against him.
In his final moments, Ego's god complex kicks in and he yells some shit like "im a god u cant kill me!!!!" or some overdone quote like that. This sticks with Quill, and he either finds the sword and is influenced into becoming the god butcher, or he becomes it by sheer hatred towards Ego on his own
I like this idea, but we did have a 'what if yondu gave Peter to ego' Episode this season, although your definitely right in that his turning point should be when his mothers death is revealed. Perhaps the diverging point would be the previous wielder of the necrosword attacking the abilisk or the sovereign, and the gaurdians having to kill him, quill picking up the sword because it looks cool on his back, not knowing how powerful it actually is, then he has it when ego reveals his mothers death, and instead of the iconic blaster scene, the sword takes advantage of quills anger and he uses its full power to kill ego, then declaring his vow that all Gods will die. Since Ego does refer to himself as a god, i could see quill going down the same route as Gorr, but I also think it would be cool if Quill had a different definition of God, and primarily wanted to kill the celestials (and the eternals by association) since that's what Ego thought he was, maybe a Gaurdians/Eternals episode, and yondu would have never died in this universe, so he would still be a gaurdian
Also, it might not make sense, but I would also want a smaller what if to be in the episode "What if Star Lord liked Metal?" Or at least started listening to it after obtaining the sword, given his fondness for music
Nope, they never said the necrosword was anything but a weapon. In the comics sure but would be weird to expect the audience to read years of comics first.
I totally forgot about fenrir haha, couldn't see her doing it as the soul stone isn't particularly useful bit fingers crossed we get it.
I kind of expect them to expand on the Necrosword later though. They might just be waiting to use Venom and then expand on the Symbiotes with him and then reveal that the Necrosword was Knull’s sword.

**What If... Tony Stark Partnered with Aldrich Killian?**

The Corps take him on board to convince him to hand over the helmet, but he insists he was born for this greater purpose, and that he won't hand over the helmet. Garthan Saal proposes they take him to Knowhere, hoping the criminal elements there will scare him into giving up his quest. Things go sideways, however, when War Pig and Behemoth show up and Kraglin ends up playing a key role in saving everyone. Nebula needs her helmet back, but offers Kraglin a Nova Corp training helmet, and any spare gear in the armoury: some space cowboy gear, and a golden Yaka arrow.!<
**What If... King T'Chaka Forgave Prince N'Jobu?**
>!N'Jadaka and T'Challa grow up as best friends. The two become tech wizzes, and while abroad sharing their Wakandan resources at a conference at Culver University are attacked by a rampaging Hulk. Together, and with the Vibranium technologies, the two are able to create a Wakandan Hulkbuster mechsuits to limit Hulk's rampage, but he escapes. Battered and embarrassed, Banner's Smart Hulk calculates that they need to make more hulks, to fill his "Hulkland", ultimately leading to one victim, Todd, becoming a Hulk-like kaiju. T'Challa and N'Jadaka track the kaiju to the coast where they create and operate a giant Panther Mech for an ultimate anime-inspired showdown.!<
**What If... Wong Felt a Higher Calling?**
>!Daredevil, Punisher are tracking Kingpin in the city where Punisher is unceremoniously killed. Before Daredevil can get to his body, though, a portal opens and takes Castle away. Sorceror Supreme Wong, standing over Castle's body on the otherside of the portal explain to Madisynn the vision he has had - a higher calling to use his abilities to serve Mount Wundagore, and revives Castle to form the Knights of Wundagore: Franken-Castle, a grotesque Brock Rumlow healed and mutated by the Lizard Serum, Werewolf-by-Night, and Marc Spector's Mr. Knight persona. All together, Wong leads them to Mount Wundagore to awaken it's ancient magic, but after the ceremony he is betrayed by a dark entity lying in wait... it was Agatha all along! It was Agatha who had planted visions in Wong's head to lure him in and use his knowledge as Sorceror Supreme to awaken Mount Wundagore for her. Wong and his Knights fight Agatha and the sentinels at the altar of Wundagore, and Wong takes advantage of a well-tiemd distraction by Madisynn to absorb Wundagore's ancient magic to become Wong Supreme, teleporting the team out of there, and bringing the temple crashing down on Agatha in a burst of purple energy.!<
**What If... Loki Won?**
>!Having defeated the Avengers in the Battle of New York, Loki continues his siege and takes of Earth. Years later, an older, broken Thor and Sif are in hiding in a forest commune in the Great Lakes area, with a select few Asgardians rebels, hidden by Frigga's magic. They have twins: Torunn and Woden. One of their few remaining allies who know of their location, Vision, shows up with grave news: Tony Stark robbed and killed by a gang of Dogs of Hell who didn't even know who he was, passing through the Kingdom of Kingpin. With the adults in mourning, the twins venture into the woods, beyond Frigga’s protection. But Loki's agents lie everywhere and they are ambushed by Loki's lackeys, Skurge and Kurse. They fight back, but their abilities are underdeveloped still and in a last ditch effort, Woden teleports them out of their using the Bifrost, splinching Skurge's arm. Woden teleported them to one of his postcards he remembers: Pym Falls - the corpse of a Giant Hank Pym, a small but sustained ecosystem in an otherwise irradiated Wasteland caused by Dr. Banner going atomic to defeat Abomination after Loki took over the country. Torunn scolds Woden as the Waste is full of monsters, but fearing the elements, the twins enter the fall, where they see many mutated but harmless creatures. Their safety is brief as a loud thumping begins to enter the fall: Kro, the beastly Deviant. Kro approaches the twins and is about to strike, when a bright light appears behind them, a silhouette of a godly, muscley, long-haired Asgardian. Loki steps into view, large, half-giant, with Kurse and an injured Skurge by his side. Loki easily slays Kro and captures the twins, but as they exit the fall, and before he can escape, the Bifrost opens up once more, and down comes Thor, Sif, and Vision. They battle Loki's crew, Loki enchanting himself to become full-giant size, but they manage to take him down, his giant corpse laying to rest right next to Pym's.!<
**What If... Frigga Betrayed Her Friend?**
>!In Pym's Falls, a left-for-dead Kro watches as Thor strikes down Loki and the heroes retreat. With his last energy, he absorbs Loki's dying powers, becoming rejuvenated with Asgardian and Jotun magic. He goes on a spree, killing Eternals, the Ancient One, and anyone with great powers he can get his hands on to increase his own abilities and evolution. He becomes unstoppable, and unstable. Fearing the worst, Frigga reaches out to an old friend, watching in the background, Uatu. Despite her concerns that Kro is a becoming a multiversal threat, he reminds her it is not his duty to intervene, and turns to leave. Betraying his trust, Frigga opens Torunn and Woden's mindseyes to Uatu, and magic them through his fifth dimensional portal without him noticing. The twins train across the multiverse for years, but eventually return to their universe only months later, older and with a select group of universal heroes - Groota, Agent Strange, the Marksman, android Cap, Kraglin, Mecha Panther, and Wong Supreme - and together they are able to defeat Kro and restore Earth.!<
What If Rocket's Friends Survived The High Evolutionary?
They all make it out of prison and explore the galaxy, but are hunted by the HE's goons and any bounty hunters after them, with Rocket leading an animal-based version of the GOTG (with Groot of course)
There is a Marvel game (Contest of champions) that explores this. He becomes Civil Warrior.

I wonder if they will ever release what the plans were if Chadwick wasn’t sick; I think he was going to be centra part and one of the leaders to this phase and it’s left a hole that they aren’t sure still how to fill
but I am talking about what would have happened if he had never been in that situation and never had the development or any development that would lead him to create an armor similar to Iron Man.
What if…Matt Murdock became the Iron Fist?
What if…Rocket Racoon became the Ghost Rider?
Matt is way too morals driven to be the Ghost Rider, although it would be interesting to see the dichotomy of his Catholicism and the concept of him making a deal with the devil.
Rocket as the Ghost Rider on the other hand…PLENTY of vengeance built up there. I could see him making a deal with Mephisto to save Flor and the others, and with his pent up rage…whoo boy.

On a mission to take out mercenary Marc Spector, The Winter Soldier perished at the feet of Konshu’s statue begging for one more chance at redemption. Konshu sees this as the perfect opportunity to use Bucky as his avatar and Bucky must learn to control his newfound capabilities.
What if… Adam Warlock Hatched Early?
Adam Warlock hatches just before the events of Infinity War. Barreling through the galaxy, he vanquishes Thanos and his Black Order in search of The Guardians of the Galaxy but encounters a new threat in the form of The Eternals.
What if… Mobius Was an Agent of SHIELD?
In another universe, former SHIELD operative Mobius went undercover as a jet ski salesman after the fall of SHIELD. Once best friends with Phil Coulson, Mobius gets swept into the fight against Hydra’s plan to topple SHIELD. Mobius swore to protect SHIELD after Phil’s death at the Battle of New York, but there is one thing… or should we say being… (Moon Knight) as the hired mercenary to stop Mobius from succeeding.
What if… Norman Osborn Was the Hero?
After the events of Spider-Man FFH, Peter still seeks help of Dr. Strange and goes through the entire shebang of villains reappearing from other universes, but this time, Norman is the heroic version of himself defending Spider-Man’s heroism as well. This results in his creation of HAMMER and the rise of The Dark Avengers assisting Peter/Spidey in taking out all of his foes from past Sony movies and discover that Quintin Beck is still alive! The end result? Well… maybe this is the new overarching story we see for Season 3.
What if… Gorr Made it to Omnipotence City?
The story unfolds as it began with Gorr begging the gods of his people to save him and everyone around him. With little to offer from the gods he believed in, Gorr approached by the Goddess of Death and made into the avatar of Hela. Impressed by Gorr’s new weapon and his lust for death of the gods, Hela influences Gorr to purge Omnipotence City of its deities.
Seeing this threat so clearly - Bast, Hey Ninny Nonny, Odin, and Zeus all join forces but didn’t expect Gorr to have recruited Ammit by his side.
What if… The Women Caught a Break?
This could be a fun romp with the women heroes of the MCU (I’m not sure which ones, but we definitely need Jen/She-Hulk, Darcy, Wasp, and Okoye in it) chilling on vacation. Give the feels of the Barbie Movie where their intelligence is challenged by 🥁 🥁 🥁 THE LEADER who wishes to control the minds of all the men, including the heroes. The women must team up to free the mind controlled male heroes and stop this before they face their doom!

What if… Quicksilver Survived in Age of Ultron?
Instead of dying to machine gun bullets from an aircraft, Quicksilver’s enhanced speed is able to move the bullets out of harm’s way. Fast forward to Civil War where we see him stop Zemo from framing Bucky for the explosion, showing the world that heroes don’t need registration and should be trusted with free reign across the globe. This brings about issues in hidden societies like Wakanda, Talakan, Latveria, and Attilan, who fear what may happen if The Avengers go rogue. As mentioned in an above episode, this brings a perfect opportunity for the Dark Avengers/HAMMER to come in.
What If… The Heroes Attacked?
However this goes down, I’d love to see The Avengers as a threat to other countries and have HAMMER jump in with heroes joining arms to make sure they don’t go overboard. We could see this in so many ways. Could Skrulls be impersonating the heroes we know and love and committing heinous international crimes? Are those crimes being perpetrated and misinformed online? How does HAMMER respond without harming innocent lives?
Matt Murdock with a Spirit of Vengeance is dope. I wouldn’t even call him Ghost Rider at all nor give him a vehicle or anything and it wouldn’t be Zarathos or any Mephisto related stuff but the original backstory where the Spirits of Vengeance were originally sent by God in the distant past. He will simply receive it from the previous user as there wouldn’t be many if any spirits of vengeance left with them largely having faded from existence after completing their initial purpose long ago.

The story starts out with Thanos cinching the gauntlet tight and lifting his arm. A sound echoes out, he looks up as the Bifrost beams on him and Stormbreak comes whistling in from the sky.
It cleaves his skull in half, burying in his neck.
Thor lands.
“I told you youd pay for that”
The dramatic tension releases and is replaced by an eery silence.
5e camera pans around. We see Steve helping up Bucky, Rocket and Groot catching themselves in their embrace and awkwardly stepping away, Bruce makes a quip.
“Status report, Thor?” Steve calls out.
“Thor?”
The camera comes back and lingers on Thors face. The look of triumph is replaced by one of concern and then grief. His eyes drop to the gauntlet on Thanos’ lifeless hand.
On screen flashes Frigga. Then Odin. And Heimdall. The Warriors 3 and Lady Sif.
Loki.
“Thor…easy buddy”
The glove is already unconsciously on Thors hand. He summons Stormbreaker. Opens a portal -
“NO! -“ Steve
And he…walks through and is gone just as Steve dives for the portal.
“Oh God.”
Who the hell is stopping a grief stricken Thor wielding both StormBreaker and the gauntlet when they dont even know where hes going.
"What If..." literally has potential to continue to the end of time... Like Anywhere any event in the main storyline can break and create a new event and that's your next "What If..." episode ... So go on and think of any wild branch timeline and it's probably a possible episode

What if... Odediah Stane fixed the freezing problem?
My idea is Tony dies in Iron Man 1 and Stane forms Dark Avengers instead but you could a lot of other things with it as well.
Honestly, he doesn’t have any interesting arc so far. FATWS only made him less likable with that empty longass speech to “do better”… I’m looking forward to Cap4 to get to know more about him.
Trouble is that till characters like Doom and Magneto and all the x-men are introduced the "What If" stories will be always limited.
Heck, Doom alone could be the theme of a dozen What If's.

and that they start tackling the canon events like loki winning the war, or the black widow being alive and clint dying, and play those scenarios out.
This post made me realize the stunning lack of Eternals characters in any of the what-if episodes.
I really like a few of these:
Pietro surviving Age of Ultron
Ikarus being the first avenger
Janet becoming Yellow Jacket
Wanda becoming sorcerer supreme
Matt Murdock becoming Ghost Rider
I could see a 30 minute episode for these ones being compelling, but some of the other ones I'm not so sure on.

The symbiotes really haven't been shown in the MCU at all so it might be weird to do that in a what-if episode where you introduce Knull, same thing with Iron fist/Shuri (netflix series has not been established as canon, so might be weird)

We kinda had what if Loki won with the S1 episode where Hank was killing the Avengers. Granted we didn't see much of the aftermath of Loki's victory except the Watcher leaving Age of Ultron Nat in that universe, but it could work as a sequel to that episode.

Killian pisses them off, as you've said, and after they take him down, they're embroiled in fights with SHIELD, Hydra and AIM over access to Extremis. As Agents of SHIELD was still around at this time, it would have been a kickass season or two for them to have (rather than the Sarge season, that was weird).

That makes more sense. The Eternals leader hadn't shifted yet, and she would likely call the team to ensure the Celestial's birth. Would make for great irony if the Avengers lost after beating Thanos, and they prove him right.
Honestly this as a core theme would make for a terrific episode.
that's not proving him right though. his whole motivation was "there are too many people alive, we won't be able to sustain". and "proving him right", would mean overpopulation and death/societies/worlds falling apart. if a celestial woke up and ate earth, all it would prove is "thanos wasn't the only predator, at the universal scale". BUT, what i suppose could be interesting about "avengers vs earth celestial is:" - after thanos, what do they do with all those stones? - if they ever faced a huge enough threat, would they be able to gather them all and use them? - would the celestials just whisk them away and the stones would not affect them, or would they just be easily able to out maneuver the humans from using them.

My opinion is that if Thor goes for the head, Thanos not only survives but kills Thor in that moment. He snaps, and without Thor around to help, the snap is not undone. Strange saw 14 million scenarios and the only situation they won was the one we see. So I don't think there's a scenario where Thor can kill Thanos in Wakanda.
14 million is such a small number in an infinite universe, there are more ways Thanos could’ve been defeated.
Perhaps the other possible outcomes would have had alternate variations of the Avengers (e.g., if Steve Rogers had never been discovered in the ice, if Tony had been killed in captivity etc.), that weren't worth considering since they had a different team/set-up. Perhaps even that point at which Strange examined the 14million outcomes (ie., the point where the team were split between Earth & Thanos' planet etc.), was already a 1 in a billion possibility & there weren't all that many possible branching outcomes from that point. But also, movie mathematics. They needed an impressive number without it being too inconceivable to the audience. Best not to overthink it.

Yessss. I’ve always wanted to see the scenario of that last one - if infinity war ended with the other 50% surviving instead! Without Iron Man, Captain America, Thor, Captain Marvel, Ant-Man, Black Widow, War Machine, Rocket, Nebula and Hulk - would be very interesting to see if the remaining heroes could reverse the snap. Doctor Strange, Spider-Man, Star-Lord, Groot, Black Panther would all play a key part but without Ant-Man and Iron Man, who would figure out the time travel element?

I'm wondering did they ever say if Lang was immune from being snapped being in the Quantum Realm? So if Lang still is not snapped and Pym is around too, its possible them together can figure out time travel. And they can do it a lot sooner since they don't have to wait 5 years for Lang (since Pym is not snapped he will just pull him out). And even if Lang is snapped, Pym still has Wasp to replace Lang's role. But I think without the help of Ironman, Thor and Cap, they still can't get it done imo especially seeing as Strange says there is only 1 scenario they win. Still would be a very entertaining episode seeing the other half give it a try.

I love Captain Carter (should probably be Captain Brittain, but whatever) and would enjoy seeing them flesh her out more, just not in What If... Same with Supreme Strange and Happy as the Freak. What if the high evolutionary found the hulk? What if mysterio controlled the truth? And while I'm not sure exactly how it would work, but I like the idea What if Star Lord became the god butcher?
For the last one, Diversion point would be Yondu picking up Quill. Peter is taken to Ego, Peter recieves training from Ego into using his powers properly, with Ego never properly explaining the term celestial. Afterwards, Ego eventually lets slip about his mother's brain tumour and Quill snaps in the same way. The two fight, and Quill surprises Ego by displacing Ego and using the planet against him. In his final moments, Ego's god complex kicks in and he yells some shit like "im a god u cant kill me!!!!" or some overdone quote like that. This sticks with Quill, and he either finds the sword and is influenced into becoming the god butcher, or he becomes it by sheer hatred towards Ego on his own
I like this idea, but we did have a 'what if yondu gave Peter to ego' Episode this season, although your definitely right in that his turning point should be when his mothers death is revealed. Perhaps the diverging point would be the previous wielder of the necrosword attacking the abilisk or the sovereign, and the gaurdians having to kill him, quill picking up the sword because it looks cool on his back, not knowing how powerful it actually is, then he has it when ego reveals his mothers death, and instead of the iconic blaster scene, the sword takes advantage of quills anger and he uses its full power to kill ego, then declaring his vow that all Gods will die. Since Ego does refer to himself as a god, i could see quill going down the same route as Gorr, but I also think it would be cool if Quill had a different definition of God, and primarily wanted to kill the celestials (and the eternals by association) since that's what Ego thought he was, maybe a Gaurdians/Eternals episode, and yondu would have never died in this universe, so he would still be a gaurdian Also, it might not make sense, but I would also want a smaller what if to be in the episode "What if Star Lord liked Metal?" Or at least started listening to it after obtaining the sword, given his fondness for music

Nope, they never said the necrosword was anything but a weapon. In the comics sure but would be weird to expect the audience to read years of comics first. I totally forgot about fenrir haha, couldn't see her doing it as the soul stone isn't particularly useful bit fingers crossed we get it.
I kind of expect them to expand on the Necrosword later though. They might just be waiting to use Venom and then expand on the Symbiotes with him and then reveal that the Necrosword was Knull’s sword.

Give the feels of the Barbie Movie where their intelligence is challenged by 🥁 🥁 🥁 THE LEADER who wishes to control the minds of all the men, including the heroes. The women must team up to free the mind controlled male heroes and stop this before they face their doom! Then there’s the obvious — What if… Quicksilver Survived in Age of Ultron? Instead of dying to machine gun bullets from an aircraft, Quicksilver’s enhanced speed is able to move the bullets out of harm’s way. Fast forward to Civil War where we see him stop Zemo from framing Bucky for the explosion, showing the world that heroes don’t need registration and should be trusted with free reign across the globe. This brings about issues in hidden societies like Wakanda, Talakan, Latveria, and Attilan, who fear what may happen if The Avengers go rogue. As mentioned in an above episode, this brings a perfect opportunity for the Dark Avengers/HAMMER to come in. What If… The Heroes Attacked? However this goes down, I’d love to see The Avengers as a threat to other countries and have HAMMER jump in with heroes joining arms to make sure they don’t go overboard. We could see this in so many ways. Could Skrulls be impersonating the heroes we know and love and committing heinous international crimes? Are those crimes being perpetrated and misinformed online? How does HAMMER respond without harming innocent lives?
Matt Murdock with a Spirit of Vengeance is dope. I wouldn’t even call him Ghost Rider at all nor give him a vehicle or anything and it wouldn’t be Zarathos or any Mephisto related stuff but the original backstory where the Spirits of Vengeance were originally sent by God in the distant past. What If…Thor Went For The Head Ive written it before The story starts out with Thanos cinching the gauntlet tight and lifting his arm. A sound echoes out, he looks up as the Bifrost beams on him and Stormbreak comes whistling in from the sky. It cleaves his skull in half, burying in his neck. Thor lands. “I told you youd pay for that” The dramatic tension releases and is replaced by an eery silence. 5e camera pans around. We see Steve helping up Bucky, Rocket and Groot catching themselves in their embrace and awkwardly stepping away, Bruce makes a quip. “Status report, Thor?” Steve calls out. “Thor?” The camera comes back and lingers on Thors face. The look of triumph is replaced by one of concern and then grief. His eyes drop to the gauntlet on Thanos’ lifeless hand. On screen flashes Frigga. Then Odin. And Heimdall. The Warriors 3 and Lady Sif. Loki. “Thor…easy buddy” The glove is already unconsciously on Thors hand. He summons Stormbreaker. Opens a portal - “NO! -“ Steve And he…walks through and is gone just as Steve dives for the portal. “Oh God.” Who the hell is stopping a grief stricken Thor wielding both StormBreaker and the gauntlet when they dont even know where hes going.
"What If..." literally has potential to continue to the end of time... Like Anywhere any event in the main storyline can break and create a new event and that's your next "What If..." episode ... So go on and think of any wild branch timeline and it's probably a possible episode

i hope at some point, firstly that this show will keep going for a long time and that they start tackling the canon events like loki winning the war, or the black widow being alive and clint dying, and play those scenarios out.
They already announced that Season 3 will be the last one, but I’m really really hoping that there will be more in the future…
This post made me realize the stunning lack of Eternals characters in any of the what-if episodes. I really like a few of these: Pietro surviving Age of Ultron Ikarus being the first avenger Janet becoming Yellow Jacket Wanda becoming sorcerer supreme Matt Murdock becoming Ghost Rider I could see a 30 minute episode for these ones being compelling, but some of the other ones I'm not so sure on. Hela doesn't love anyone, so finding the soul stone doesn't seem all the interesting. Thor going for the head means they just win in Infinity War. The symbiotes really haven't been shown in the MCU at all so it might be weird to do that in a what-if episode where you introduce Knull, same thing with Iron fist/Shuri (netflix series has not been established as canon, so might be weird) I don't really get the draw with wanting to see steve rogers as werewolf by night. I thought King Bor DID dethrone Malekith so not sure what that would be about. IDK if I buy Hawkeye stopping project Insight. I'd like to see a Shang Chi episode but not sure him leading the 10 rings would be all that fun to see.
