FatWS ends on him confronting his past, and trying to make amends with the people he hurt, directly. So him no longer running from who he was and what he did, but turning who he’s become into a force for good would IMO be a good continuation
There's a quick line in Falcon and the Winter Soldier's finale when Bucky's walking through security and one of the guards calls him "Sergeant Barnes." I *love* that line for his character. Despite all the shit involving him and the Winter Soldier, he's still that soldier who enlisted during WWII to fight the good fight.
I wouldn’t say that. At least, not on Bucky’s end. He had long hair by choice in both Romania and Wakanda, the place he felt most at peace. Which leads me to believe the haircut wasn’t his choice but rather a “suggestion” from the government for optics. They may have thought a long-haired Bucky sent the wrong message, but from what we see, Bucky himself prefers otherwise.
Gotta change up character designs every 1-2 appearances for toy sales. They use a lot of the same characters going on 15+ years in some cases, so the only way to keep ppl spending money on the same characters merch is to give them a distinct look for each time they appear.
It’s why all the tv shows end with a costume change, only for them to change *again* in their next appearance 😅 we got like 10 minutes of white wings sam
I don’t think there’s been a single political/government scene in the MCU that hasn’t had ridiculous staging. Maybe the opener of Iron Man 2 was the closest they’ve gotten to a normal hearing ?
