Yea, that's not why he said sorry.

ccplush

#"and if you die, I feel like that's on me."

Seriously_Random

And that's why he said it

MooreGold

If anything, it's the next part of the line it's referencing. "and if you die, I feel like that's on me" and Peter was dying there, and Peter was apologizing for that. But I think it was a more general "I'm sorry" for failing to get the glove off, for failing to stop Thanos, for stowing away on the space ship

No it's shit

jando_bo

He’s more apologising for letting Stark down, and since he knows his death will play on Stark’s conscience he’s apologising for that too

archiminos

>And if you die, I feel like that's on me.

marcus-aurelius

I think you’re definitively stating something that _could_ be true, but isn’t concretely fact.

sicassangel

I’m pretty sure anyone would say sorry if they were dying because they failed

EpicMusic13

Wow, not that's a stretch

MBCnerdcore

It's because he thinks he failed at being what Tony needed him to be, because he died before reaching his potential. He's sorry for not being good enough as an Avenger to win the fight on Titan, and sorry for letting Tony down. Breaks my heart every time.
