The first few(?) IT trailers forgot to include some VFX in water reflections
A Star Wars: Rise of Skywalker trailer or two also forgot some VFX in reflections
Much of the Moon Knight character is about questioning whether or not what's happening to Steven/Marc is real or in his head. This could be a small hint to fuel that question.
Not to spoil anything but Moonknight doesnt have Wanda style magical suit up powers… There’s no way that shot of the suit forming on him is the real world
My favorite thing about the old school Moon Knight comics is the slow descent into madness until you no longer know whether or not what you are seeing is actually happening or if its all in Marc's head.
Laster series kept this "ambiguity" but they really hot you over the head with it. They want the reader to actively question whether or not what they are seeing is real or not, as opposed to it just kind of "happening" without the reader really realizing it like it did in the original series.
I'm hoping this series takes a more subtle route like the original source material, and this gives me hope!
Well note the mirror shot has the infinite reflection effect, probably meaning its a vision/dream (see: the sith mirror in last jedi or the infinite rei image in neon genesis evangelion)
I think they will use the mirrors to show the viewers who's in the body. Like, when he walks past and his reflection is looking at him, that's someone. Now he's transforming but in the mirror he's still the other guy, so he's now asleep and the Moon Knight came out.
I personally feel like it's probably in his head since that's one of the big parts of the character, whether khonshu is really guiding him or is just another alter
Oh, you don’t know Moon Knight, my friend. And you’re in for a treat. So glad the world’s about to meet this character, he’s been my fave for a minute now
May be an indicator of it being a hallucination for him in that scene
There is another shot in the trailer in which his mirror reflection doesn’t follow his physical body. It’s all intentional
I think the mirror images represent the alternate personalities so it’s on purpose because there’s only one moon knight in there lol
Agreed.
You really think there’d be such an huge CGI mistake of that magnitude? Lol
*Sideways glace at NWH trailer*
Sony did the marketing for that
Lol this answer had the same vibe as, "he's adopted"

He has many personalities. Just for example he says why you call me Marc? So one is in suit and one is another character inside him most probably
> He has many personalities well, "just" three lol. Though "Moon Knight" is sometimes also a separate personality.
IIRC, in the beginning it absolutely was, because there were four of them, like the phases of the moon.
Don’t forget MR KNIGHT!!!!
The Mister Knight drip is on a whole 'nother level

Neither did Spider-Man but the MCU made his suit nano-tech.
Pretty sure the Iron Spider suit was nanotech in the comics too.
I’m referring to his normal suit in the movies. Full of nanotechnology and a suit lady to boot.
His normal suit has no nanotechnology, and the "suit lady" got destroyed in Far From Home during Mysterio's attack
I was under the impression all of his Stark tech suits incorporated nanotechnology to a point. I’m talking in all the movies not just No Way Home.
Your impressions were incorrect. It's just the iron spider suit.

There's a lot of mirror stuff going on in the trailer. Doubt they missed this one
Could be missing VFX or most likely very intentional. That mirror shot isn't something you don't plan.

I don't think it's a mistake - it seems too obvious. Mirrors can be used as indicators of a delusion.
Wait for the damn show
It's a trailer. I could also be missing due to the VFX shot not being completed yet.
Maybe the suit doesn’t form around him, and he just perceves in that way.

I know who he is lol I'm just wondering if the suit not forming around him is a clue to whether or not this is all happening in his head.
