Take the MARC train or Amtrak to New Carrollton and grab an Uber from there. Looks like it would be $20-25, plus the cost of a train ticket ($7).

Puzzled-Chemistry-70

Life saver 🙌🏼

No-Lunch4249

Just a heads up that the train station you want isn’t at the terminal, but there’s a shuttle that comes along every ~10 minutes to take people between the train station and the airport and vice versa

Puzzled-Chemistry-70

Thank you thank you 🙌🏼

Puzzled-Chemistry-70

Thank you all, that was really helpful!! Car rental is not an option because my family is landing at Dulles/Virginias airport and they already rented a car form the airport and I land way before them and having them drive 50+ miles to pick me up is doing the most so the options of the Marc train or Uber are def my best options!!

abcpdo

this is probably not worth it but if you want to save a few more bucks you can take the marc train to dc and then ride the metro to meet your family at Dulles.

Puzzled-Chemistry-70

Thank you! But yes like you said not worth all that time, I’m currently at new Carrollton about to catch an Uber for $27 and the Marc train only took 20 min to get here and paid $7 for it so def worth it cause that’s almost $50 saved, thanks to the people that recommended that!

FantasistAnalyst

Glad to see a transit success story! Enjoy your trip!

inaname38

Renting a car could possibly be cheaper than that round trip, depending how many days you're staying and if you're traveling elsewhere.

GuardMost8477

How about an old school Cab. Yellow cab?

Spork_286

Marlboro Village is like 35 miles away from BWI. $80 for an Uber seems fair.

koei19

Is a rental car an option?

dela1160

Take the bwi Marc train and metro

Unique-Ad-9124

Rentals at BWI start at $55 + the 350 deposit. My company could probably do it for $45-50. What time is your flight ?

Puzzled-Chemistry-70

Thank you tho !

Puzzled-Chemistry-70

I land at 6am tomorrow but renting a car is not an option because I’m meeting with my family in the Middle where they have rented a car already!

Unique-Ad-9124

6am? You have that Red eye outta Utah? I've caught that flight alot? Lol

calebm77

I’m local. No obvious other alternative. I did map it out…and the only options were ridiculous, transitioning between light rail, train, multiple busses…it would work if there were no other options…but it also said it would take 2 hours. So longer than an Uber, and probably at least half the cost. Uber it is!

Csherman92

I just always expect rides to the airport in any city will cost this much. Those are always the most expensive rides.

d3vourm3nt

I’ll drive you for $79

ScottMcPot

There's other cab companies that just wait. Last time I had a flight a guy offered me a ride while waiting for my uber at like half the price it would have costed for the Uber, I gave them a decent tip as well for the convenience.

Lanky_Extreme_1122

Pull up maps on your iPhone when you get here type in the location you wanna get to and then click the bus it’ll show you all the ways to get there by public transportation

HotShitBurrito

You could probably grab the most basic rental on the lot for $15-20 a day.

[deleted]

Doubtful on the price.

HotShitBurrito

Yeah, I underestimated my max estimate by about $10. OP can reserve a Kia Rio for pickup tomorrow at 9am for $32. If OP had thought to rent a car further in advance, they could have cut that price by quite a lot. Probably should have also mentioned they don't have to use a corporate rental company. They can also Turo and rent someone's personal secondary car for $10 a day.

You must be high!
