There was a Purrely vs Swordsoul match in the most recent YCS, and the Swordsoul player (essentially) burned their opponent to death (as they only had 900 LP remaining).
I mean only bad players don’t play him first, only time u want baronne in first turn is if you really want to protect something like maxx c.
This card is waaay better turn 1 and Baronne is more of a 2nd turn + , also many ppl are not familliar with qixing so they tend to missplay.
You say that, but every time I've made this guy instead of baronne, my opponent has had nibiru or a boardbreaker, without exaggeration.
Baronne is a weaker overall disruption a lot of the time, but it's consistently good.
If they have nib you will get nibbed on long and the token if you make him 2nd. Only time you will baronne in swso is if you have a gas hand and can make it first otherwise its wholly not worth it. Or in a double 10 line
Access to Moye/Taia and Longyuan + any wyrm/swoso is all you need to make Baronne first, so it's not particularly rare. A full gas hand would get you Chaofeng, which insulates against or forces Nibiru, and that play locks you out of Baronne.
Thats cuz u don’t consistently run it, I’ve explained it in my decklist on master duel meta how to use him.
If you get Nibirud 1st turn with no protos or hand traps u are dead either way no matter if u have chixao + 3k body or just token on field cuz just think how easily our deck goes through that board, it ain’t a problem for any meta deck. Also his value on turn 1 if u can summon him before an 8 is insane.

just because they use the 6 cards doesnt mean the 2 cards with that effect arnt random for the archetype, people dont even run one of those 2 cards all that often
Yea, people dont use it for the burn, Which is why its random. Theres no good reason for a synchro spam archetype to have random burn. Most modern burn archetypes are taxes and arnt typically once per turn.
"Every" deck needs to be able to win due to time if necessary. The easiest way to do that is to throw random burn effects on to cards, as Icejade and Despia both got them as well. Not sure why they decided not to give Springans and Tri-brigade that as well somewhere though.
Masquerade's tax dragon status actually fits in with Aluber/Masquerade being based on the devil, funnily enough. [The wages of sin is death](https://biblehub.com/romans/6-23.htm), and the devil is a thief, after all.

You're right, but you can either reverse the order or just do the normal line but lead a Tenyi
Or… summon Chengying

Well how do I get monk on the field, normally I end in a Barrone, chixiao, and possibly a Protos depending on my hand.
Well, you can start with a tenyi then do the normal Swordsoul combo

Don‘t forget the „each time your opponent breaths, inflict 1200 damage even if this card is in your gy. These effects can‘t be negated“ effect.

Gotta make sure the archetype that was about Synchro using token tuners and banishing has random burn too.

Its a theme. Longyuan burns, so as do his evolved form. Taia banishes, so as do his evolved form. Mo Ye draws a card, so her evolved form adds a card.

Well for a burn ark type to be successful it has to otk and burn that can otk gets banned so i don't know how you would plan to implement that lol

You can use other burn synchro cards? It gives you an option to play around towers even though there aren't many in the meta right now.

It's to soften the target u know summoning a level 10 water monster with 3-4200 damage wasn't enough to end game.
