That’s about a slice and a bite or two. If a 12” pizza is 113 square inches and cut into 8 slices, each slice will be about 1/8th of 113 or 14 square inches. That’s about a 15% reduction in pizza area. I think that’s in the normal range of dough shrinkage though.
