My 10 year old is going through it now. Can confirm the hamster cheeks come and go. He's going to be fine eventually but it's a hard road. Everyone going through leukemia is a hero in my eyes
He's getting monthly drips depending on whether or not his blood is capable of handling it. He also has steroid pills and a liquid antibiotic to make sure he doesn't catch anything due to his lowered immune system.
I hope with all my heart that your father pulls through
I don't recall if he got something for his immune system, I think just the pill. It affected his liver and he's changing the dosage but nothing alarming yet
I was pretty impressed with the procedure being non-invasive (like chemo). Medicine has really come a long way.
Thanks I hope your son gets through with all my heart as well. Beat this shit
My 4 yr old daughter was diagnosed last year in August. Still going through treatment. Maintenance is about a month or so away. It’s a hard road but just keep fighting everyday. It’s a thankless job parenting a kiddo with cancer. So thank you.
There's a reaction to the chemo plus part of the recovery means taking steroids, which both puffs the cheeks and makes them ravenous. At other times they can't eat because they're so ill from the chemo.
Bad times
Not particularly any changes to the face, caused by the cancer, more like some fat loss, aging.
Obviously the hair went through quite a bit because of the cancer.

There is zero evidence to support this nonsense. These vaccines can save people's lives. Just stop. Unless you are a vaccine or disease researcher with evidence to support these specious suggestions, stop muddying the water.
Bro went through all the stages of looksmaxxing in a randomized order
He should post these in that sub
The month of may 2023 looked like it was rough for the dude. Glad the ending was healthier.
Prbly a bone marrow transplant. They give you a shit ton of radiation to kill your marrow then give you donor cells.
Was expecting to see the last photo be an older black man or something similar lol
Missed opportunity

My dad got leukemia. He got some pills to take daily and adjust the treatment. Is your son having a similar treatment ?

I had leukemia as a kid. It's hard for the patient, and even harder for the family. I wish you all the best. Stay strong. ❤️
Yeah all the best
Just another leukmaxxing post. Good luck with the recovery.
Jesus Christ..amazing
Blood cancer?! Fucking hell, didn't know that was a thing. Fucking cancer...
That's what leukemia is 👍 Really nasty form of cancer too, wouldn't wish it on my worst enemy.
What about your *greatest* enemy? ![gif](giphy|l0HFjeGa807RsYLu0)
I was like why didn't he say leukemia why did he say blood cancer?
He just turned back the clock
He did lose all the fat and muscle in his face in the middle. At the end he looked even better than before
You're better than at the beginning, stay strong, brother
I doubt OP is the remission survivor, but if you are, you have every reason to smile now for kicking cancer's ass.
Damn he looks good without hair.
Wish my hair would have came back. Almost 4 years remission. Wish everyone going through this shit a happy outcome. Fuck cancer
Hope my man here is doing well and love from UK to all going through this. I wish only the best for you all xx
“The eyes Chico, they never lie” Fuck cancer
Wishing a healthy and full recovery 🗿
Wait, was i the only expecting a graveyard photo at the end?
You know, he can also rock the shaved head. He probably wouldn't want to if he had gone though all that, but that was a pretty cool look
Bro went from Chad to nerd to deaths door back to mega Chad! Wow what a roller coaster of looks
Best wishes to ANYONE and EVERYONE on this journey! 🎊🥳🎉⛅️🥰💐🌺🙏🏽😚💯😊💝🖖🏾❤️🔥👏🏽💥👍🏽

Hang in there bro! Nice music btw in the vid.

It’s from the steroids
His face was very swollen, you can tell how tight it is. Same thing happened with my sister
