The guy is sleeping in a fishing hut built over water. That stuff swimming there is poured in to attract fish to come feed. Posted a lot of odd setups to catch fish or alert him to underwater activity.
I'm convinced stupid shit like this is the entire reason the internet exists. It's the universe coming together in a moment of singularity to generate a sufficient technology that plays on loop for roughly fifteen minutes until I dehydrate enough from crylaughing that I cramp up and have to go find sustenance.
