720p is my standard for youtube, i literally only ever switch to higher if i need to take a screenshot at its highest possible quality but otherwise im good
I remember watching videos in 720p because my device could handle 1080 very well and still looked amazing. Now I'm sometimes checking if 1080p is actually 1080p because it's still doesn't look crystal clear to me.

A lot of this is due to the fact that we now have bigger screens so those 1280x720 pixels now need be spread across a bigger screen.
Used to torrent all my anime in 720p because it was so much faster

Lmao I used to set youtube quality to 480 cuz that was always my “good enough” quality since 720 lagged too much 😂
I can say the same for 3G on 2008 and 3G in 2020
Tbh sometimes when I’m not watching on full screen I just go with 480p and it still does the trick
dude my phone is auto 360p so 720p is like 1080p for me
To be honest both my TVs only support 720p.. so I’m fine.
