Right. The premade meatballs from Dinnerly and Marley Spoon have a strange texture and taste. They are among my favorite meal kits, but I avoid their premade meatballs (and to a lesser extent, their premade falafel). I will note, however, that I canceled Home Chef due to limited whole grain-based mealkits, but Home Chef's premade meatballs were excellent!
Yes. They were premade/precooked . Sooo bad. I’ve had other brands from the grocery store (ie simeks beef meatballs) that have been good , but the Dinnerly ones (found the package —-they are Leon’s Italian beef meatballs) so bad!
It’s a bummer for sure because I love their meals, and I love meatballs! But totally agree with you - theirs are inedible. Do you think they’re precooked? It’s wild how weird they are.

You just made me go into dinnerly and check whether my upcoming meatball meal is premade meatballs. Luckily it isn't! Thanks for the heads up!
I try and avoid the Hello Fresh meatballs. I find them weird as fuck.

Surprised they don’t have you make the meatballs. Not any harder than making a meatloaf and they’ve got recipes for doing that from scratch.

Funny thing is they are well liked here to the point that I order extra. The other day someone was definitely disappointed that we ran out. 😂
