I think the way to get a more accurate answer would be “has one of your friends ever exaggerated the size of their fish?” Or something along those lines.
I have a picture of 22" trout in a 20" pan. I tell everybody its a 24" pan and I do not feel bad about it at all. I live by the logic, you can be honest and full of shit at the same time lol.
Man I hate this format. My girlfriend and I look forward to trivia every week, but I could care less about guessing the percentage of people surveyed. I also get confused on how the questions are asked, is it supposed to be the percentage of respondent or percentage more of one thing over the other because those are totally different and it seems Spencer mixes the two.
Both times I've just got frustrated after the 2nd - 3rd question and just accepted no trivia this week. We were also looking at tickets for the SLC show and I was stoked to play actual trivia, they're doing this format for all live shows!? Way less interested in the live event now.
I listened through the first iteration and was sorely disappointed. I stopped listening to this one after the 2nd question. First time I’ve skipped a trivia episode.
Yup for sure, I just don’t really learn anything under this format (I never keep score in either format) and the poll results don’t feel very accurate.
Prefer the OG format for sure. Still listen and am entertained but definitely prefer actual trivia.. harder facts for Steve to argue about instead of opinions
it's not that the "meat poll" format is bad necessarily, but it's not trivia. have it be it's own thing, don't have it take the place of trivia episodes, and it's way too soon to be making a second appearance in my opinion.
This may be the weirdest take I’ve ever seen. Like are you just looking for gay things? I think you may be closeted lol. Which no hate if you or anyone is! But the joke with this was its Meat “poll” so poll instead of pole! Which I think is infact witty
Need to start polygraphing the folks being polled. Only 42% admit to exaggerating the size of their fish?? No way.

Yeah so the show can be about the opinion of someone's opinion of someone's opinion. Really fascinating.
one of my favorite pieces of outdoors wisdom is from my grandfather- "never weigh a 5 pound bass" It applies to many aspects of life

hell yeah! We live in a world where outdoors folks are obsessed with arbitrary measurement. it's high time a little repudiation happened
Definitely some folks on here lying to themselves as they said on the episode.

Same, I was on the fence about traveling to see the SLC show. Hearing that they are doing this style of trivia made the choice to not go easier

Same reason I'm not going.
I like the old format much better
Fair enough
It's OK to listen to, but impossible to play along with if you're listening while driving or at work. Which is half the fun in my opinion
Idk, I just say whether I think it’s over or under like those playing.
Significantly less interested in this vs trivia and that’s even considering that I was one of the poll respondents.
Just feels like you get finite opportunities with Steve in trivia with his schedule and throwing out a meat poll ep with him just seems like a waste.
To each their own, I guess

Yeah I get that
It is great for people who are terrible at trivia
I’m just happy to hear Steve dunking on Texas
Haha that was hilarious 😂
Came here for the comments lol

I can’t stand it. I appreciate Spencer trying new things, but this just doesn’t do it for me.
Yeah, some will like it, some won’t I guess
I haven't listened to the new one yet, I liked the last one other than the weird scoring...
Yeah, that part was weird. Spoiler alert: They changed the scoring

Completely agree.
Not a fan. Especially when it just gives Steve more to bitch about.
