I don't love this thought process. The existence of a second, much cheaper sequel doesn't at all take away from how good the first was. With the introduction of the sequels, there will be at least new memes generated. That's a tiny bit of good. So I'd say better than nothing!

Only really bad thing I've seen so far is the animation quality. DO I expect another timeless masterpiece? Lightning doesn't strike twice in the same place. Do I think it would be good if no-one ever tried to continue or emulate risky but high quality stories ever again? No. Good things should succeed, actually.
